Knock, knock.
The door is knocked on.
”Sir Kent, are you awake?”
It seems Annabella has come to wake me up.
”Yeah, I’m awake.”
Click.
Annabella opens the door and comes in with a change of clothes in her hand.
”I brought your outfit. Also, there’s something I want to tell you, Sir Kent.”
I take the clothes from Annabella and start changing on the bed after taking off my gown.
”Just wait a moment while I change.”
Once I finish changing, I turn to face Annabella.
”So, what’s the story?”
”Yes, could you please come over here?”
Annabella opens the door and stands near the entrance.
I walk over to where Annabella is standing.
”Please look over here.”
When I look at the spot Annabella pointed to, I see a stain on part of the red carpet that looks like someone spilled water.
”It looks like a stain… Did someone spill water or something?”
”No, I believe this is from Ms. Lana. During yesterday’s duty (activation of the Sexual Prowess skill), there was a presence of someone near the open door.”
”Are you saying that the stain made by Lana, who wasn’t there at the time?”
”Y-yes. It’s just a guess, but I think she might have been peeping and… you know.”
Could that really be Lana peeping and doing that? Or is she actually interested in s*x?
”Ah, but isn’t Lana a man-hater? Wouldn’t she hate seeing something like that during duty (activation of the Sexual Prowess skill)?”
I throw my question at Annabella, which had popped into my head.
”I don’t think Ms. Lana hates Sir Kent; she just dislikes being touched.”
After hearing Annabella’s response, I opened the log to check Lana’s status.

It seems that as of yesterday, her affection had already reached its maximum.
She has feelings for me but can’t get close, so she was comforting herself from a distance…
I feel really bad for Lana.
I want to find a way to touch her…
I decided to ask Annabella for help.
”Annabella, is there a way to fix Lana’s dislike of men?”
”Well, there are some options, but I think Ms. Lana’s dislike of men is likely caused by some trauma. One idea could be to use a gender-swapping ring to turn Ms. Lana into a man and help her overcome it through shock therapy.”
Annabella suggested using a gender-swapping ring to turn Lana into a man to help her overcome her dislike of men.
But wouldn’t she faint from seeing her own face and body as a guy?.
”Isn’t there anything else?”
”Other options could include forcibly restraining her and breaking her spirit, using Lady Miriallia’s mental magic for suggestion, or drugging Ms. Lana to make her approach Sir Kent voluntarily.”
I shook my head at all 3 of Annabella’s suggestions.
”Well, while it wouldn’t help her overcome her dislike of men, if Sir Kent wore a gender-swapping ring and became a woman, it might make it easier for Ms. Lana to be touched.”
It’s true that this method wouldn’t help her overcome her dislike of men, but it would prevent her from being left alone to comfort herself.
”Hmm, this is quite difficult.”
”Sometimes it’s easier to just do it than to worry about it. If we turn Ms. Lana into a man and Sir Kent into a woman, it might actually work out better than expected.”
Annabella said jokingly.
Anyway, I have to deal with this soon.
I have to take responsibility for dragging Lana into this because of my own actions.
”Annabella, thank you, that was helpful. I’ll figure out the situation with Lana soon, so please keep it a secret until then.”
”Yes, if Sir Kent says so, I’ll keep quiet. Now, shall we go have breakfast?”
I decided to have breakfast with Annabella.

As I sat at the table, the distance from Lana still felt far.
However, Lana occasionally glanced over at me.
I could definitely feel her affectionate gaze.
Sorry, Lana, I promise I’ll help you get over your dislike of men, so just wait for me.
With that determination, I shifted my gaze away from Lana and looked around.
There was no one in the chair where someone should always be sitting.
I couldn’t see Milly’s face.
”Hey, where’s Milly?”
”Elder Sister Milly was called out by Margrave Heido early this morning and said she wouldn’t be back until evening.”
Lina answered my question.
Did Sir Arbalest call Milly? I wonder what for?
”Lina, do you know why she was called?”
”No, I haven’t heard, but it probably has something to do with you, right?”
Lina’s response made me think.
It was still a secret that I had the [red] card, and Sir Arbalest had issued a gag order about it.
In the Authentication Stone (Job Check), the card color isn’t displayed, so the only ones who know I have the [red] card are Milly and the other 4, Sir Arbalest, and the Dorman family parents.
So, could the reason for the call be a leak to the Dorman family parents?
I did give a report about it yesterday, but was there something wrong? However, if I, the person involved, wasn’t called, it probably isn’t that serious.
”I think it might be about the gag order…”
”Is it bad that… my father and… mother found out?”
Lana spoke to me with a worried expression.
”If he didn’t call me and only Milly, it probably isn’t a big deal, and he might have called me for some other reason. After all, Milly is a super VIP.”
I stopped thinking about why Milly was called and decided to eat breakfast.
”By the way, Sir Kent, what are your plans for today?”
While I was eating breakfast, Annabella asked me about my schedule.
Right now, I had absolutely nothing to do, so I was free for the day.
I wasn’t unemployed anymore, but since I didn’t have a job that paid me, I was just bored.
I wanted to get a job as soon as possible, earn my own money, and buy a flower or something for Milly and everyone, but Milly was showing reluctance about me getting a job, so it was quite difficult.
At this rate, I might end up working as a home security guard for the Blackdagger family.
So, I was a bit anxious about my job search.
”What about Annabella’s plans?”
”Ms. Lina and Ms. Lana’s luggage is scheduled to arrive today, so I was thinking of helping them out.”
”Then I’ll help too. They need extra hands, right?”
”””No way!”””
The 3 voices harmonized.
”You, after all, are a Noble candidate! Why would you help organize the luggage of someone who’s just here for etiquette training?”
”Y-yeah, that’s right. There are some things girls don’t want to be seen…”
Lina and Lana refused to let me help.
Ms. Lana, is what you don’t want to be seen your self-pleasuring panties? If that’s the case, I’ll take responsibility and collect them…
I couldn’t help but think that.
This is bad; my brain is turning pink this early in the morning.
”Is that so? Helping out is a no-go… Is Feria going to help the two of them?”
I tried to involve Feria, who hadn’t joined the conversation.
When I looked at Feria, her face looked so down that I could almost hear a “mumble, mumble” sound.
”No, I have to go to the Hunter Guild today to process my resignation and return my uniform. But just thinking about being scolded by Ms. Suzy again makes me feel gloomy.”
”Who’s Suzy?”
”She’s the one who handled the admission at the reception desk. She’s the one who manages the waitresses and staff.”
Ah, that tough-looking guy… or was it a woman?
If Milly can handle delinquent cases, it makes sense that she’s the one in charge.
Speaking of which, she was really mad when Feria quit.
I guess I should tag along to say hello.
”Feria, should I go with you? I mean, I need to clear things up with Ms. Suzy.”
Hmm, clearing things up with Ms. Suzy…
No, I shouldn’t dig into that.
If I do, it could turn into a disaster.
I’ll just elegantly ignore it.
”Clearing things up with Ms. Suzy…”
Feria seems to be reacting to forbidden words.
”Cough cough, ah, Feria. You know, there are words in this world that are better left unspoken. You think so too, right?”
I approached Feria and firmly grabbed her shoulder.
Surprised by my intimidating presence, Feria nodded her head up and down.
Phew, I somehow managed to avoid the worst outcome.
Just as I was feeling relieved, an ambush hit me.
”Hey, are you making a dad joke about being straight with Suzy?”
NO! STOP IT! Don’t say it! It just slipped out! Plus, responding with a question is so lame!!
My heart was trampled and torn apart by the ambush from Lina.
”Alright, that’s enough. Please spare him, Ms. Lina.”
Feria spoke to me as I slumped down.
”Mr. Kent, can you come with me? I’m not good with Ms. Suzy, so I’d appreciate the help.”
”Yeah, I’m free, so I’ll drop by the Hunter Guild and say hi to Ms. Suzy.”
”Then, you’re going to the Hunter Guild in the morning. Should I prepare lunch for you?”
”Sure, prepare it. I plan to be back by lunchtime.”
I decided to go to the Hunter Guild with Feria.
