Back at the Clan house, Liz was furious after hearing the details from Ms. Sasha.

Kazumi put her finger to her lips to quiet everyone.
They had contractors working to renovate the cylindrical part into a hall for Ms. Sasha’s room.
”If only I had secretly assassinated him back then…”
Shinobu stood behind Ms. Sasha, her face twisted in regret as she said something quite alarming.
”We could have just waited for the lord to return instead of accepting a duel. But, well, Hiroya won’t lose anyway.”
Rena laughed while sipping her tea.
”Mr. Hiroya is receiving sword training from the kingdom’s top knight, so he won’t have any trouble with a knight at the captain level.”
Dorothy spoke in a soft tone, but her eyes weren’t smiling.
She seemed quite angry.
”If direct attack magic is banned… can we use ‘Physical Boost’?”
”Yes.”
Rena answered Martina’s question.
”If we can use it, he’ll win easily, right?”

Aluda and Eluda rested their chins on the table, looking bored, while Meluda wore a serious expression.

Toldo opened the dining hall door and came back.

Toldo took the tea Kazumi offered and drank it with a satisfied expression.
