I decided to hold a meeting about the new Hunting Group in my bedroom with the members.
Everyone was exhausted, but somehow they managed to keep their eyes open.
It really has been a hard day.
I could have postponed it until tomorrow, but it seems Arbalest will announce something by tomorrow morning.
For that reason, to avoid causing panic among the female hunters of Silver Wolf, we had to decide on the Hunting Group name, leader, treatment, policies, and various other things today.
”I apologize for asking this when you’re all tired, but we’ve had to urgently establish a Hunting Group”
”Uh, Sir Kent, I just heard you say we’re forming a Hunting Group, but I must have misheard, right?”
”No, it’s true. We’re going to stay up all night to decide things, so I’m counting on you.”

Voices of discontent rose from everyone.
If I weren’t involved, I would probably be criticizing too.
”I’m sorry. I know this is a burden on all of you.”
”Well, if everyone works hard here, maybe Kent will reward us with a lot.”
With Milly’s one remark, the atmosphere among everyone changed completely.
It was as if they had turned into hungry beasts ready to pounce.
I wonder if I can survive…
”Alright, I’ll start with the name of the Hunting Group. Does anyone have any good ideas? For now, let’s avoid bringing up Kent’s name, and I plan to make it the sub-Hunting Group of ‘Crimson Bride’.”
Milly asked everyone for their opinions.
”How about Red Valkyrie? Isn’t that cool?”
Lina was the first to speak up.
Oh, that’s such a chuunibyou-ish name for a Hunting Group.
But I don’t hate it.
”In that case, I think Black Dagger Maiden would be better.”
Ines’ suggestion also sounds chuunibyou-ish, but I think it’s pretty good.
”You don’t get it. This is a rookie training Hunting Group. So how about calling it the Rookie Female Hunter Training School?”
It’s a straightforward name that fits Feria’s style, but it seems like I could skip explaining the content.
”Um, I prefer Beatrice and her merry friends.”
It’s a difficult name to comment on, but it’s a troublesome thought from a 26-year-old virgin with the mind of a little girl.
”Sir Kent, I think that would be good enough to decide.”
Annabella decided that I should put it to a vote.
We decided to do it by majority vote.
In the first vote, Beatrice got the fewest votes and was eliminated.
The runoff between the remaining 3 ended with Red Valkyrie being chosen.
”Well then, the name of the newly established Hunting Group will be ‘Red Valkyrie.’ Next up is the Hunting Group leader…”
I had been worried about the selection for this Hunting Group leader.
It would be fine to appoint a veteran woman from Silver Wolf’s female members who has high HR, but we haven’t decided on her status yet.
So, it would be safer to prepare someone on our side, but ‘Crimson Bride’ has mostly novice hunters aside from Milly.
Aside from Milly, the one with the highest HR among the newly joined members, Beatrice, does pose a significant concern if we were to make her the Hunting Group leader, so I thought about relying on the next candidate, Manon, but then a woman came to my mind.
What about Giuliana? If it’s her, she has a strong presence, and if she stays quiet, she exudes dignity.
Since she’s seeking to become stronger, she should possess the wisdom to do so, and if we have a supporting role for her, she might actually make a good Hunting Group leader.
I decided to consult everyone about my candidate idea.
”As for the Hunting Group leader, how about welcoming Giuliana, who was among the last candidates in the previous interview, as a member of ‘Crimson Bride’ and have her act as the Hunting Group leader for ‘Red Valkyrie’? I believe she would be the most suitable candidate since she is a mid-level hunter and possesses dignity.”
Aurelia, who heard my statement, agreed.
”Ah! Is that Ms. Giuliana from the ogre race? As expected of Lord Kent. She seems like someone who could handle things without any issues. However, my concern is that she really wants to become stronger.”
”Well… then shouldn’t we have a competition with her? That way, she might focus on training her subordinates, and she can get stronger herself.”
Milly suggested a competition between ‘Crimson Bride’ and ‘Red Valkyrie.’
If they continue to have training sessions like that regularly, we could scout capable individuals into ‘Crimson Bride.’
Also, since Giuliana has been wanting my child, I think it might be a good idea to make her a Carrier and form a new service team of Valkyries.
”So, is it okay to make Giuliana the head of the Hunting Group?”
”Wait, I’m concerned about that grin on your face.”
Lina asked, as if she could see right through my inner thoughts.
”You’re probably thinking about making Giuliana the leader and forming a new service team with the cute girls from ‘Red Valkyrie,’ right?”
I flinched at Lina’s pointed remark.
There’s an Esper here, a psychometer who can read my mind.
Everyone’s gaze is focused on me.
No, I didn’t mean anything like that at all! ‘Red Valkyrie’ is off-limits.
I was clearly upset, but I denied Lina’s statement.
”No, that’s not right. There are girls who were affected this time, so saying something so inappropriate is…”
”It’s fine, but you should take responsibility. There’s a possibility for the ‘Crimson Bride’ membership through the Kent category, even if they’re not top-tier girls in the competition or ability. But only if they want to.”
”Huh, really? Elder Sister?”
Lina looked surprised at Milly’s statement.
”That could be interesting. If we have a swap system, we can push each other to improve.”
”A, a swap system-nya! So if I lose in the swap match, I’ll be demoted to ‘Red Valkyrie’-nya. That would be a problem-nya! My life plan…”
Receiving the proposal for a swap system, Manon was flustered.
”Hmm? Kent’s duties remain unchanged. The intention is to only swap members of the Hunting Group. For now, there’s still an opening for a second team in ‘Crimson Bride,’ so there won’t be any swap matches for a while. But once the second team is filled, perhaps we’ll start swap matches.”
Hearing it was a matter for some time in the future, many people felt relieved.
”But if you’re just dawdling, there’s also a possibility of demotion. You have to get stronger.”

Feria and Beatrice grumbled.

”That’s right. The Silver Wolf wasn’t that generous either. At most, they offered discounts on consumables, and it was mostly self-sufficient. The treatment is too good for newbies.”
Opinions arose from Manon, a free hunter, and Beatrice, who belonged to another Hunting Group, that the benefits were too generous.
However, I don’t know what the treatment for ordinary rookie hunters is like, and it’s questionable whether female beginner hunters can be self-sufficient, so I want to make their treatment better.
”I want to support female beginner hunters as much as I can, so I think ‘Red Valkyrie’ will accept Hunting Group members with the treatment Annabella mentioned.”
”If Kent is okay with it, then I have no complaints.”
Milly agreed.
”If Elder Sister agrees, I have no complaints.”
Since they expressed their agreement one after another, I decided on Annabella’s proposal for treatment.
”The treatment for the members of the ‘Red Valkyrie’ Hunting Group will be based on Annabella’s plan. Now, onto the final Hunting Group policy…”
”It’s about supporting female beginners, right? Also, will there be an HR limit for membership? And what about the regulations?”
Lina rapidly fired off her questions.
”I believe we should make the first goal to train female beginner hunters, and the second goal to establish a female-exclusive Hunting Group. From Silver Wolf, I don’t know how many will actually transfer, but it would be prudent to assign experienced or mid-level hunters as PL (party leaders) to guide the newcomers beneath them. If the numbers increase, we can promote the more developed girls to new PLs and form new parties, which should help with training as well.”
Talia presented a management strategy for the Hunting Group.
I see, instead of intensively training one party, we will promote trained girls to new PLs and attach more newcomers beneath them for development.
That’s not a bad training strategy.
It’s a perfect strategy for cultivating a large number of hunters with a certain level of experience, without demanding extraordinary strength.
Assign them to the party I specify until they reach a certain HR, and after reaching that HR, girls seeking further strength can either be directed to another Hunting Group or stay and form a new party.
”We will adopt Talia’s proposal for the policy. Is there anything regarding the regulations?”
”‘Red Valkyrie’ will have looser regulations compared to ‘Crimson Bride,’ allowing for married individuals and those with partners. And how about we enforce strict penalties for any trouble between genders?”
Lana expressed her opinion on the regulations.
Since it’s a Hunting Group that serves as a platform for beginner female hunters, I think it’s fine for married women and those with boyfriends to join freely.
Since it’s women-only after that, there should be strict penalties for troubles between men and women; otherwise, if women start competing for men outside the Hunting Group, things will get chaotic.
”Is it alright to base the regulations on the unified rules of the Hunter Guild and add Lana’s 2 proposals?”
When it came time to vote, everyone raised their hands.
”With this, the main structure of the Hunting Group has been decided. Now it’s just paperwork. We’ll finish it by tomorrow morning.”
At my words, we started grappling with documents to create the various permits for the newly established Hunting Group.
However, when Ines, Feria, and Manon ran out of energy and collapsed to sleep, Lina, Lana, and Talia followed suit, then Aurelia, still holding her pen, also sank, while Beatrice, full of energy, was doodling on the documents for fun.
The ones who fought with the paperwork until the very end were Annabella, Milly, and me.
By the time the documents were properly formatted, it was nearly dawn.
I sent a messenger to Giuliana to inquire about the new Hunting Group leader as the final touch.
”Yay! We’re done!”
Just when I thought I could finally sleep, a call came from Arbalest for me and Milly.
”Uncle, can we please sleep soon? My magic power isn’t recovering, and my skin is getting rough!”
After being called, the grumpy Milly complained.
It seemed like Arbalest hadn’t slept either, as his eyes were bloodshot.
”I want to sleep too. Since I’m the only one being worked hard, Kent and Milly should participate in the public punishment of Silver Wolf in the square from now on.”
Seriously… I can’t sleep…
But, even though we got involved by chance, we have to confirm the fate of Gruza, the mastermind behind the incident.
”I, I understand. Is it alright for the other members to take a day off and only Milly and I participate?”
”Oh! Kent knows how to handle things. It’s helpful that you’re quicker to talk than Milly.”
I persuaded Milly, who looked reluctant, and headed to the square where the public punishment would take place with Arbalest and the others.
