Finally, this day has come.
I was anxious about how many people would come to the registration meeting for the new Hunting Group ‘Red Valkyrie’ starting today.
Out of the female hunters who were captured in the Silver Wolf incident and the other female hunters who belonged to Silver Wolf, about 80 in total, the participation rate for ‘Red Valkyrie’ was around 50 percent, which means about 40 people.
The main reasons for the female hunters not participating were 20 who retired, ten for long-term medical treatment, 5 who wanted to become independent from their current party, and 5 who changed jobs.
So, at this point, Red Valkyrie has become a medium-sized Hunting Group with 40 members.
”Mr. Kent, the reception is ready! I just checked the gate, but not as many people have come as I expected.”
”Is that true?!”
If possible, I had a feeling that I didn’t want to make the Hunting Group too large at first.
After all, both ‘Red Valkyrie’ and the upper Hunting Group ‘Crimson Bride’ have few experienced hunters, and only Milly, Manon, and Beatrice from ‘Crimson Bride’ and Giuliana, the leader of ‘Red Valkyrie’, have surpassed the beginner’s benchmark of HR 20.
Therefore, I am concerned that if more novice hunters join, we might end up with a situation where the party leader is a level 1 Warrior with HR 1.
I was happy to hear Feria’s report.
I won’t ask for much, but I hope we can get as many veterans to register as possible.
”It’s strange. Even though we advertised so much in the square, not many people have gathered? I wonder if keeping the recommendation system for ‘Crimson Bride’ a secret is the reason.”
Milly looks somewhat disappointed, as she expected more people to participate.
Despite my worries, the preparations for the registration meeting continue steadily.

The registration meeting for ‘Red Valkyrie’ began in the garden of the Blackdagger annex.
This time, the eligibility requirements were open to any female hunter, so we were planning to immediately register them as Hunting Group members after checking their Authentication Stone (Job Check) and Ability Grasp Stone (Skill Check) with no issues.
However, the Guild’s detailed notice states that only those who have left their current Hunting Group can participate, which might have reduced the number of participants.
I was watching the trickle of applicants from the open window of the annex.
For now, ‘Crimson Bride’ was handling the reception in full force, so things were proceeding without much confusion.
Then, I heard Lina’s voice.
”Hey! Why are you here! Didn’t you get research funding from Elder Sister?”
I was a little far away, so I took off my glasses and looked at the person Lina was arguing with.
It was Ms. Aida, the gyaru-neesan who uses both swords and guns.
Apparently, Aida had come to register as a member of the ‘Red Valkyrie’ Hunting Group.
”Oh, Lili. It’s through practical experience that the reliability of guns improves. Research isn’t just about being cooped up in a lab.”
”That’s wonderful, Ms. Aida. Please register.”
Milly, who was next to Lina, showered Aida with praise and proceeded with the registration process.

Before building Milly and Feria, Aida was honing her skills as a prototype ship.

Aida moved to the venue where Feria and the others were conducting the Authentication Stone (Job Check) and Ability Grasp Stone (Skill Check).
”Elder Sister! Are you listening to me?”
”Lina, were you listening to Kent? He said he would accept anyone except thieves and criminals.”
”But… that person (Aida) will definitely cause trouble.”
”In that case, it will be Kent’s turn to step in.”
After that, by noon, about 40 hunters had come to register, which was significantly lower than the initial estimate.
We held a lunch gathering in the courtyard, including a meet-and-greet with the Silver Wolf group and the new registrants, where everyone enjoyed plenty of food and drink.

The girl who participated as a Healer explained her situation and agreed to work as an internal staff member under the Hunting Group leader.
I decided to pay her a salary for administrative work while she treated bruises and scrapes.
I thought it would be impossible to manage 80 Hunting Group members with just one administrative staff, so I was looking for another person who seemed good at office work, and I found the perfect candidate.

I spoke to Giuliana and decided to pay her a salary as well, so she would take on the internal staff role.
I didn’t have any information about her face, but if she was cute, I thought about bringing her and the Healer girl into Giuliana’s room for some fun, a dark thought crossed my mind.
After that, including the Hunting Group leader, the members were divided into ten parties, balancing offense and defense as well as HR, with each PL (Party Leader) being appointed.

Since we even divided the parties during the social gathering, I decided to have Giuliana greet everyone.

Hearing Giuliana’s words about not dying, everyone’s faces lifted.
”The greatest shame for us, ‘Red Valkyrie,’ is to die. If you think you can’t handle a monster, it’s okay to run away. However, you must not abandon your sisters. Those who abandon their comrades will face severe punishment.”
The venue buzzes again.
”Lastly, make sure to dedicate one day a week to basic physical training. I’ll leave this to each PL (Party Leader), but without basic physical strength, there’s no way to get stronger, so consider this important training regardless of your job. If you slack off, only an ignoble death awaits you. That’s all from me.”
A sigh that sounds like a scream spreads through the crowd.
Giuliana returned with a satisfied expression.
”This ring is amazing. I’ve never spoken so fluently before. Lord Kent, would you consider giving it to me?”
”Well, I don’t actually dislike Giuliana’s talking, so I’ll lend it to your when you give a speech.”
Giuliana returned the ring with a disappointed look.
”I see… that’s too bad.”

After that, we split into groups to introduce ourselves, check our skills and jobs, and discuss plans for tomorrow, and all the parties disbanded after the sun had set.
”For now, we’ve somehow managed to get things started.”
I spoke to Milly, who was cleaning up.
”That’s right. From now on, it will depend on their efforts, but if we just sit around, they’ll catch up to us in no time.”
”Yeah, how about we go monster hunting for a few days as part of our training?”
”That sounds good. I’ll pick out the maximum number of 9 quests in the morning, so wait for me, and then we’ll head out for a 2 to 3-day hunt.”
Milly was full of enthusiasm, so instructions were quickly given to everyone while she was cleaning up.
The other members of ‘Red Valkyrie’ seemed to be feeling a bit anxious after seeing how motivated everyone was.
