(Kazumi’s POV)
”So, um… I have something to discuss…”
While enjoying home-cooked meals that were different from Ms. Hanna’s deliciousness, we chatted excitedly about the village, the Great Labyrinth, and stories from when we fought the Demon King as a hero party.
After a sip of post-meal tea, Hiroya’s mother, Ms. Megumi, spoke up.
──Gulp…

All of us held our breath.
”First of all, I want to ask the other girls besides Kazumi──”
Ms. Megumi leaned forward from the table.
”Everyone, you have feelings for Hiroya, right? So… are you dating Hiroya?”

With her straightforward question, everyone momentarily looked stunned… and then quickly blushed.
”I, I was made ‘a woman’ by Hiroya…”
”So, you mean you gave him your first time?”
With a bright red face, Liz began to fidget as she spoke, prompting Ms. Megumi, leaning forward, to turn toward her and ask.

”Hmm… I think I get it. So you fell in love with him in both body and heart. That’s the ultimate crush.”
Slowly sitting down in her chair, Ms. Megumi answered as if she understood.
”Marti, I kind of get it. To you, Hiroya is a hero.”
”Yeah. Big Brother Hiroya even saved my broken heart.”
Martina nodded happily.
”It’s the same for me.”
Dorothy put her hand on her chest and started talking.
”My family was killed by human hunters, and I was destined to become a slave… but Mr. Hiroya saved me. And…”
She lowered her eyes, moved her hand to her lower abdomen, and rubbed it lovingly.

Simona starts talking to Ms. Megumi while hesitating a bit.

Ms. Megumi shook her head slightly at Simona.

Saying this, she smiles gently.

Ms. Megumi nods to Simona who is talking very earnestly.

”So, Kazumie, your beloved Hiroya is dating all these girls… and having s*x with them, right? “

Ms. Megumi hands me a handkerchief.

Ms. Megumi nodded and began to speak.
”I have friends that are important to me too. Yes. As Kazumie says, they are like ‘family’…”
Ms. Megumi leans back in her chair and looks up at the ceiling.
”That friend… has always… ever since they met… loved Mr. Shinji. But I know that she’s been holding back her feelings because I’m here.”
Her tone is very gentle.
”That’s why I wanted to know about your relationship… and Kazumie’s feelings. ──I see, you don’t want to make the person you love cry.”
In the end, she mutters as if she understands the situation.
”You know, there’s someone else I like as much as Mr. Shinji.”
Ms. Megumi’s bombshell remark froze the room for a moment.

And then, Ms. Megumi talks about the ‘Other World’.
Her fate is to assist the ‘heroes’ of various worlds.
While traveling through these different worlds, she finally reaches the ‘world where Hiroya and I used to be’.
After fulfilling her last duty there, Ms. Megumi married the one she fell in love with and gave birth to ‘Hiroya’.
And she was supposed to live happily in that world.
But… she was given another ‘job’.
That was the mission in ‘this world’.
Leaving her beloved husband and son behind, she came to this world.
After defeating the Demon King with Elberhardt, O’Brian, and Milia, she tried to return to her 2 loved ones, but couldn’t.
Her beloved husband proposed to her, saying how much he loved her, and even when she told him that she had a husband and son in her original world,
”I still love you”
was what he said, and she decided to live in this world and got married.
And then she gave birth to ‘Hiroya’ again.

”So, the other ‘person I love’ is… my husband I left in the previous world.”
I was asking Hiroya before, but everyone else, hearing this for the first time, seems too shocked to speak.
”So your son you left in the original world died… and he was reborn in this world again as Ms. Megumi’s child?”
”Yeah. It’s sad that ‘Hiroya’ from that world died, but he was reborn as my son again.”
After answering Liz’s question with a smile, Ms. Megumi’s expression darkens a little.
”I heard that Hiroya met Mr. Shinshi from the other world. I’m really excited. Maybe I’ll get to meet him again.”
Ms. Megumi continues speaking while looking down.
”I love Mr. Shinji now, but I also love Mr. Shinshi. So I thought for a while, ‘I’m such a greedy person, so I shouldn’t monopolize Mr. Shinji, right?’”
Ms. Megumi started to cry.
”And… over there, Mr. Shinshi… he ended up all alone.”
