During the lunch meeting with Reinhardt, I asked Giuliana, who was having a meal, to let Reinhardt participate in the training, but she refused because it was a women-only brigade.
However, Reinhardt didn’t give up, and with a face that held the promise of his beautiful appearance mixed with tears, he earnestly pleaded with Giuliana, and eventually received permission since he would be a trainee.
Reinhardt, who was overjoyed with the permission, showed his determination to participate in the afternoon training.

There were more than ten scrolls piled up.
At least one of them costs 5 silver coins.
With that many scrolls, it amounts to quite a sum, but it seems like it’ll just be a cheap gift for me as the lord.
As someone who identifies as a commoner, I would be more embarrassed by an overly expensive gift, so I would be grateful if it could stay around this price.
Besides, I was actually thinking of purchasing magic scrolls from the Magician Guild.
I thought it was a stroke of luck and decided to accept the gift from Cefiro.

Cefiro’s eyes changed into a mountain-like shape like thin threads, and the corners of his mouth were raised.
It seemed like he was smiling.
However, it looked more like a mafia displaying an evil grin.

After that, Cefiro said he had some business and left.
Milly also said she had business with Arbalest and went out, so I decided to call Lina and Lana to learn the magic spell I received as a wedding gift.
I chose the shooting range outside the mansion just in case.
”It was a pain just to separate the magic scrolls that papa brought into Attack Magic and Healing Magic, and some of the scrolls had faded writing that was hard to read.”
”That’s right. And there was one scroll that didn’t have any inscriptions, so I’ll save that for last.”
Looking at the pile of scrolls that Lina and Lana had shared with me, I was grateful to them.
If I were doing it alone, it would probably take me a day just to classify them.
”I’m glad there were 2 of you. If it were just me, I think I would have ended up pulling an all-nighter even with the manual.”
”Well then, I’ll be at the ground, so let me know when you’re done.”

Lana headed towards Talia, who was serving as the medical team for the members of the Red Valkyries training on the ground.
After seeing Lana off, I shot a glance at Lina, asking for an explanation of the scrolls.
Lina immediately started explaining the classifications of the magic.
”Okay, okay. Umm… The ones papa brought are all Beginner-level Attack Magic scrolls. I’ll go through them in order. First, the fire attribute ‘Fire Arrow’, the ice attribute ‘Ice Bullet’, the wind attribute ‘Wind Cutter’, the earth attribute ‘Stone Blast’, the light attribute ‘Energy Bolt’, and the non-attribute ‘Poison’. There are 6 kinds in total. The magic you can acquire at the Beginner level is almost all covered. However, dark attribute magic hardly ever appears on the market, so naturally, there’s none.”
”Six kinds, huh? Should I memorize all of them?”
”Yes, since papa gave them to you for free, and it’s definitely worth remembering. Lower-level magic often serves as the foundation for combined magic, so I recommend acquiring them. Plus, there’s no cost in skill points.”
”That’s right. As long as I have the corresponding skill for the magic and enough magical power to activate it, I’m only left dealing with the money issue.”
”Exactly. That’s why Magicians and Healers can be expensive. However, the cost for equipment isn’t that high.”
I decided to learn all 6 types.
Even though it is a low-level magic, if it is a monster’s weak attribute, it can cause a lot of damage, and I understood from Lina’s magic, so I decided to acquire various magic so that I would be prepared for any beast monster that comes my way.
”Alright, let’s start with the fire attribute ‘Fire Arrow’.”
”You might have seen it multiple times, but I’ll explain anyway, Kent. ‘Fire Arrow’ is a fire attribute spell, and after activation, it tracks the designated (locked-on) enemy. As long as you don’t take your eyes off the target, it’s a guaranteed hit.”

I deciphered the wriggling magic construction text.
Then, with a steady voice, I read the now-deciphered magical text aloud, feeling the power within the words take form as they left my lips.
And then, the letters written on the scroll disappeared.
”Gathered magic element! Become fire and pierce the enemy! ‘Fire Arrow’!”
However, the magic did not activate.
Could it be that I couldn’t acquire it?
But, I confirmed that the letters on the scroll had disappeared, and ‘Fire Arrow’ was added to the magic in my Skill section.
What’s going on?
As I was hesitating without activating the magic, I heard Lina’s angry voice.
”Hey! What are you doing? Attack Magic won’t activate if you don’t designate (lock) it! Focus on the target at the shooting range!”
Following the guidance of my strict teacher, Miss Lina, I focused on the target at the shooting range.
As I directed my focus toward the target, it appeared in my vision like a targeting sight.
When I focused even more, the round targeting sight changed into a triangle.
This must be what Lina meant by the designated (locked-on) status.
Then, the sentences that make up the magic will appear in my mind.
All that’s left is to read it out loud and the magic will be complete.
”Gather magic elements! Turn them into flames and pierce the enemy! ‘Fire Arrow’!”
Whoosh!
The magical power that escaped from my body took the shape of a flaming arrow, and shot straight towards the target in the designated (locked) shooting range.
And then, my ‘Fire Arrow’ hit the target.
”Oh! I got it. Magic is so convenient”
”It’s only natural to hit. ‘Fire Arrow’ will track its target endlessly as long as your gaze doesn’t stray and the lock isn’t released.”
Unlike standard-level arrows, magic arrows are equipped with the ability to automatically track their targets, which makes me appreciate their performance even more.
”Alright, let’s move on quickly. If you make the same mistake again, I’ll have you mana transfer to your limits during our intimate moments!”
”Um, that’s fine…”
If that’s the case, will Miss Lina’s magic stone generation increase significantly?
I chose to ignore that and moved on to explain the next magic.

I thought attack magic was supposed to be shot with a lock, but ‘Ice Bullet’ seems to be an unguided spell that just flies off without locking.
I carefully aimed my dominant right hand towards the shooting range and decoded the spell with my other hand.
Eventually, I succeeded in decoding it, revealing the phrase that constitutes the magic.
I began reading the constructed phrase aloud.
”Gather, magic element! Become ice and pierce the enemy! ‘Ice Bullet’!”
A fist-sized chunk of ice that had materialized at the tip of my right hand was shaped into a bullet and flew straight toward the target on the shooting range.
Whoosh!
However, the bullet missed the target and hit the ground behind, forming a chunk of ice.
”Yeah, that’s what I thought. Unguided magic is hard to hit, but you can avoid accidental fire by using [Hawk’s Eye] or [Concentration]. I think even Kent could hit it.”
”Unguided is difficult. It might be hard to use in an emergency. I can understand why Lina is not good at it.”
”Grrr! That’s not why I dislike it! The ice attribute makes my hands cold! Cold is a big enemy for girls! So I just don’t want to use it that much.”
Is it true that Miss Lina has trouble with ice attributes because of such reasons?
I’ve heard that cold sensitivity is a big enemy for girls.
This is a serious situation, so I’ll take the lead in acquiring the ice attribute.
”Now, putting aside the trivial matters, let’s move on to the next one. It’s ‘Wind Cutter,’ right? This is a wind attribute magic with lock guidance, and this magic deals double damage to flying enemies.”

I focused my attention again on the target in the shooting range, locked onto it, and began deciphering the scroll.
I read out the deciphered incantation.
”Gathered magic element, become wind and slash through the enemy! ‘Wind Cutter’!”
Whoosh!
The wind that formed around me condensed, and the mass of wind changed into the shape of a sickle, flying toward the locked target in the shooting range, slicing it cleanly in a cross pattern.
”Wow! That cutting ability is amazing!”
”Alright, alright. We don’t have time, so let’s move on. ‘Stone Blast’ is a ground attribute area attack magic. When you acquire it, a different type of target will appear. It can deal damage to multiple enemies within its range. But remember, this magic is ineffective against flying enemies.”
”Area magic… Is there really one at the beginner level?”
As I deciphered the scroll for ‘Stone Blast’, the target sight I had in my field of vision changed from a round one to a strip-shaped one.
Then, when it is confirmed that there is no one in the strip of target site, it activates magic.
”Collect magic elements (mana)! Turn them into pebbles and defeat your enemies! ‘Stone Blast’!”
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Small stones were flying from the ground within the band of light, accompanied by successive explosions.
Although it was a pebble, it was about the size of a baseball and was flying with a great deal of force, so it would have been quite painful if it had hit me.
This magic seems to be perfect for wiping out weak monsters that are crowded together.
”Sounds good. With this, it should feel great to wipe out a crowd of enemies.”
”Well, you can’t do anything about flying enemies or those with strong defenses, but you can definitely clear out small monsters with Kent. Alright, let’s go for the final magic: ‘Poison’. It has no specific attributes, but if I had to say, it’s poison attribute. It’s guided targeting with lock-on, and if it succeeds, it will deal continuous poison damage to the target.”

”That’s right. You mutate the magic elements inside the target’s body into harmful toxins using your magical power, causing damage. So, it won’t work on enemies strong against poison or those who have poison in their bodies.”
I opened the last scroll and finished deciphering it, then began reading the incantation.
”Gathering magic elements! Become a deadly poison and plague my enemies! ‘Poison’!”
I cast it towards the designated target.
Then something like a black mist rose up, but it simply vanished.
Perhaps it was because the target was inanimate; it activated but didn’t demonstrate any effects.
”Haa~. With this, you’ve learned all the attack magic you received. To switch magic, just imagine the magic you want to use in your mind, and it will change. It gets tough as the amount of magic increases, but that’s where Kent has to step up.”
”Sorry, Lina. I still have ‘Energy Bolt’…”
”I completely forgot about it. ‘Energy Bolt’. It has a light attribute with guided targeting, which means it’s just a different attribute from Fire Arrow. Its power is slightly higher, but it also consumes more magical power, so the only real difference is the attribute.”
I deciphered the scroll handed to me by Lina and read the incantation.
A lock is a target at a shooting range.
”Gather magic elements! Become light and pierce the enemy! ‘Energy bolt’!”

A glowing arrow was created from my palm, shot out at a speed faster than a fire arrow, hit the target, and smashed it to pieces.
”Ok, you’ve learned it. Good job Lina”

As Lina finished her lecture, I realized something important.
After this, I was supposed to acquire Lana’s Healing Magic, but my magical power was below half.
I thought I would run out of magic power during Lana’s lecture.
I decided to take a break, and I rushed to Lina, who was about to finish her lecture and go home.

Without breaking her cheerful expression, Lana began to lay out the scrolls and started explaining the scrolls she received this time.
