We left the bedroom and headed to the living room, which served as our headquarters.

In the living room, a messenger from Abyss Vena was waiting with Akebus.
”Sir Kent, we have been waiting for you. I have come to convey a request for assistance from Lord Arbalest.”
”Why? Nothing happened when we sent out the Resident Defense Force this morning, right?”
”Yes, until this morning, we were fighting off about 5 hundred small groups that kept attacking, but after sending out the local defense team, a big group surged towards Abyss Vena and the western base.”
After hearing the messenger’s story, I thought that maybe because we destroyed ten thousand, the monster group that had been moving east changed their direction to attack Abyss Vena and the western base.
”So, where should we go?”
”The master said to leave it to Sir Kent.”
Leave it to me… but we don’t have many soldiers we can mobilize.
The Aida team can’t join because they have used up all their ammo, and the local defense team needs to protect us.
We can only really count on Crimson Bride and Red Valkyrie, plus Godard clan’s archers.
Even so, we will have less than a hundred fighters available.
Leading a small number of soldiers for reinforcements… it seems it will be tough no matter where we go.
