Asuka and Gorge safely brought Ms. Carla back.
Apparently, a rank S man was trying to take Ms. Carla away.
”But why was Ms. Carla targeted?”
Kazumi voiced the question I had in mind.
”He said my case was a ‘side issue.’ Something about the client wanting it…”
”So it’s a different matter from Ms. Sasha being kidnapped?”
Receiving the unnamed love sword, Kansenmaru, from Asuka, Gieze asked as she carried it to the weapon rack.
”Yes. ──And I have a suspicion about that client…”
Ms. Carla took a sip of tea from Ms. Hanna.
”It’s likely… Wal Weidenreich, the vice-captain of the Royal Knights.”
”If I recall, he’s currently a baron and… the lackey of the current king’s faction, Marquis Bausnerun. ──Bingo, Shinji.”
Hearing the name from Ms. Carla, Raincrist added more information.
”Ah. I can confirm that at least 2 rank S individuals have moved. ──It’s definitely from Giacomo’s party.”
My dad nodded back at Raincrist with a stern expression.

”But Asuka, how did you manage to take down a rank S?”
”I lured him into a narrow alley and managed to take him down.”
Sitting at the dining table, Asuka smiled as she said that.
By the way, when she faced my adult Hiroya, she had kept up with my vertical movements.
Listening to Asuka, it seemed my dad was giving orders to the soldiers through ‘Telepathy.’
”I’ve instructed the recovery of the man Asuka defeated. He’s probably a member of Giacomo’s party.”
After turning to me with that statement, Rena, who had been watching Shinobu being carried to the guest room, shifted her gaze back to the dining hall.
”How’s Ms. Shinobu doing?”
”She was calling Ms. Sasha’s name like she was delirious, but now she’s quietly sleeping. Lotta and Karina are watching over her.”
”So… have you found Lady Sasha’s location?”
Nodding at my dad’s question while seated at the table, Rena.
”It seems Ms. Sasha and Romy are together… they’re at the eastern outskirts of the South Residential Area.”
”They’re that close!”
Hearing Rena’s words, Liz leaned forward in surprise.
”Hmm. That place has only unoccupied houses and mansions… Rena, I request your guidance.”
”Wait, Dad’s going?!”
Dad stood up and headed toward the dining room door.
”My lord, there should still be 3 rank S opponents. This is too much…”
Liz called out to stop Dad, but he just smiled and walked out of the dining room.
”Ah, Rain──can you lend me that short sword?”
”Honestly… being a lord, I wish you’d show more restraint.”
With an exasperated expression, Raincrist unbuckled the short sword from his waist and handed it to Dad, sheath and all.
”Besides, that sword at your waist is just for ceremonial use.”
”Not a problem at all.”
Equipping the short sword he received from Raincrist at his waist, Dad.
”Even if it’s for ceremonies, it’s just got a flashy design, and the sword itself is a masterpiece I crafted.”
At the back door of the dining room, in his usual spot, Toldo bragged loudly while puffing on a pipe.

Raincrist shook his head.
”I’m going too.”
In the reception area, Gargantua, who had been quietly listening, stood up.
”──Lady Sasha and Romy are my friends. And…”
With the tip of her great naginata, she tapped the floor and smiled at Dad.
”A friend is heading to the battlefield. I can’t let them go alone, can I?”

I convinced Dad, Gargantua, and Raincrist to accompany me, and with Rena as our guide, we’re heading to rescue Ms. Sasha, Ms. Della, and Romy.
Other members wanted to join, but there’s a possibility of attacking the Clan house targeting Ms. Carla.

Dad, along with Raincrist, headed toward the entrance hall first.

Hernando and Esperanza called out to Gargantua, who was following Dad.

Gargantua turned around and told them that before walking into the entrance hall.
”Kazumi… thanks for convincing everyone. It’s too dangerous this time.”
”Hiroya too… be careful, okay?”
Kazumi looked at me with a bit of worry.
To reassure her, I kissed her cheek.
”Now… that’s something I should be doing.”
After showing a slightly sulky expression, she returned the kiss to my cheek.

”Thank you. ── Everyone, I’m leaving this to you!”
After gently stroking Kazumi’s cheek and calling out to everyone, I chased after Dad and the others.

”There are likely 3 remaining rank S. I can take one each with Gargantua and Hiroya.”

As Dad questioned that, Raincrist glanced at me.

Raincrist replied, seemingly exasperated.
”So, Mr. Raincrist and Rena… can I ask for magic support?”
”Just call me Rain. ──Wait, is Lady Rena joining too!?”
Hearing my words, Rain stared at Rena’s back, looking surprised.
”Believe it or not, Rena is rank S, you know?”
Rena’s tone sounded a bit angry as she walked ahead.
”Come on… both of you are still 11, right? The children of Raetia are terrifying…”
”I can vouch for Hiroya’s strength. I sparred with him once, and his technique was incredible.”
Gargantua, walking beside my dad, conveyed that to Rain.
I lost, though.
”If Gargantua says so… it must be true.”
Rain seemed somewhat convinced.
’Can I face a rank S? ──Hiroya, this is a good opportunity to test that.’
