”Alright, let’s go!” Sheena gave the signal that she was ready.
In the secret base in the Nevada desert, we, along with Dr. Mathius, were about to begin the first experiment of its kind in human history.
And that was none other than!
The electricity-mana conversion test!!
The experiment involved using a mana probe that Stanford had brought back from the other world, and trying to operate it in this world where mana doesn’t exist, by using electricity as a substitute for mana.
And the catalyst for this experiment was Ms. Claudel.
Sheena and Ms. Claudel had conducted numerous small-scale basic experiments, and it was confirmed that when specific electrical stimuli were applied to Ms. Claudel, it produced effects similar to mana in her body.
Of course, it was impossible for one Elf to generate enough mana to perform practical magic, let alone fix a gate, which would require thousands of people like Ms. Claudel.
However, Sheena calculated that it might be possible to operate the probe, and a machine was designed for that purpose.
And now the experiment was about to begin… but this was extremely inhumane and couldn’t be made public.
Aluminum electrodes, 5mm square, were attached to Ms. Claudel’s lips, mouth, earlobes, nipples, navel, and the surrounding skin from her buttocks to her groin, and direct current would be flowed through them in a specific pattern… this was basically a violation of human rights.
Nevertheless, with Ms. Claudel’s firm determination, Sheena began the experiment without hesitation.
”Alright, first… 50mV”
”Ah, something… it’s a bit tingling”

The experiment was being carefully video recorded by Dr.
Mathius, who whispered to me,

Today’s experiment proved that electricity and mana can be converted in this world, a groundbreaking discovery that could potentially earn Mathius a Nobel Prize.
However, the experiment’s content was inhumane, and it was unlikely to be made public anytime soon.
”Well, let’s review today’s data and see if we can simplify it further. We need to make it portable, considering we don’t know where the Natural Occurrence Gate will appear. Maybe something like that adult toy Yuuta and I saw in a video?”
”Sheena! Darling!! Where did you two get such a thing?” Ms. Claudel scolded, as Sheena explained how to watch adult videos on a tablet.
”I see. So Sheena taught you that… The root of all this is Darling, isn’t it? But Sheena, if we can make the device this size, it would be convenient to carry around. Then, Darling, if this device is completed, please use it on me first!”
This isn’t for adult purposes, but I couldn’t say that, so I just agreed.
”So, Sheena, Ms. Claudel,” Mathius began.
”Today’s experiment… We can’t announce it yet, but I think we should write a paper about it. So, I was thinking of naming this electricity and mana conversion the ‘*Claudel-Sheena* Conversion’… What do you think?”

”Well, since I’m the one who came up with it, shouldn’t it be *Sheena-Claudel* conversion?” Sheena complained.
”But… it was Ms. Claudel who put her body on the line, and it’s Ms. Claudel who will have embarrassing diagrams in the paper… don’t you think we should give her some credit?” After Dr. Mathius said that, Sheena quietly backed down.
”Alright then. I’ll name this electric toy Sheena No. 1 and No. 2 with lot numbers.”

After about 3 months of experiments and improvements to the equipment, the device was compacted into a size that could be easily carried.
”Alright! Sheena No. 6 is complete!”
”Wow. It’s become quite compact… but if you didn’t know better, anyone would think it’s an adult toy.”

The U.S. military contacted us, confirming that a naturally occurring gate had been detected.
The location is… New Jersey!?
It’s the hometown of Dr. Camelia Moore, who Stanford had been eager to return to.
Moreover, it was said to be one of the places where Stanford had issued a warning to the U.S. military due to a high probability of occurrence.
There’s no doubt that his gate predictions have improved in accuracy.
”Ha ha ha, Yuuta. It seems the gods want me to see you all off safely.”
Stanford said to me with a deep sense of emotion.
”Indeed, Mr. Stanford. Thank you so much for everything. I will never forget your kindness.”

Mr. George came to pick us up, and the 3 of us, along with Dr. Mathius and Stanford, headed directly to New Jersey by air from the secret base in Nevada.
”Darling, you were talking late into the night with your parents and Tomori on the tablet, weren’t you?”
”Yeah. I won’t be able to see them for a while again. But… the rubber tree. I ended up leaving it in Okinawa.”
”Ah, well, I brought a pot with me,” Mr. George said nonchalantly.
”Huh? So I’m supposed to carry that into the gate?”
”Well, Ms. Ellulu apparently went through the gate with a huge torso, so this should be smaller, right?”
”Ah, when will I get to see Haruto again?” Sheena said sadly.
”But, isn’t that day surprisingly close? They must have fixed the gate over there, and we found out we can generate mana from electricity here…”
”That may be true, but Claudel. I wonder how much mana is needed to materialize someone who teleported from there here… I think we need thousands of Claudels with adult toys attached to their groins.”
”It’s a bit hard to imagine that scene, isn’t it…”
