As my mother-in-law gracefully bowed, Milly, who had rushed in silently from behind, unleashed a dark mist that struck Clayd.
However, it was immediately extinguished by a flash of light.
”Oh dear… as expected of Sir Clayd… I tried to ambush, but my magic was no match.”
Milly also rushed over upon hearing the explosion.
”Sir Clayd… it’s a pleasure to meet you. I am Miriallia Blackdagger. I’ve heard much about you, but what brings you to my master today?”
”Hmm, so you are Miriallia, the ‘Dream Demon Black Dagger’… you don’t look much like the daughter of Gwain.”
”I have severed ties with my biological father. My true father is Arbalest Haydon, so do not mistake me.”
With Milly’s arrival, Clayd’s killing intent intensified further.
The mere act of facing each other sent a tingling sensation across their skin.
”Well, it doesn’t matter. My business here is only with that Kent Blackdagger over there.”
”Sir Clayd! For the sake of Carlamia, please forgive the matter of Lady Delprius… Sir Kent is a capable person to entrust her to. So, please calm your fury.”
Carly, who belonged to the same True Demon Clan, threw words of apology towards Clayd.
”Carlamia! I am disappointed in you! Instead of protecting Dee, you offer her to Kent as a concubine! And what is that belly! Have you become infatuated with the Majin Clan you despised the most?”
”That’s not true! He is a god beyond man. He is the reincarnation of Orphée Bleu!”
”What are you saying? Have you gone mad! Enough of this amusement! Dee, we’re leaving. Your mother is waiting.”
Clayd rushed towards Dee.
Dee tried to escape, but was caught in the net of Bind magic that Clayd unleashed, becoming unable to move.
”Dee! Mr. Clayd! Could you please not take my wife without permission?”
”Kent! Please help me!”
”Ah!? Your wife? I never intended to give my precious daughter to a scoundrel like you. You should watch your mouth.”
A shockwave generated from somewhere struck my body.
It shook me to my core, leaving me breathless.
”Guh…”
”How pathetic… Can’t even defend against this level of magic. Carlamia, wake up. This boy called Kent Blackdagger is far too incompetent.”
Milly tried to exploit the opportunity and lunged at Clayd from behind, but he dodged, striking her in the abdomen with a magic-infused fist, sending her flying.
”Cough… as expected from the strongest man of the True Demon Kingdom.”
”I haven’t lived long for nothing. My experience far surpasses yours. If I wanted, I could obliterate this town along with you.”
”Kuh… Sir Clayd, you should open your eyes. Sir Kent possesses the potential to become a Demon Lord. He is said to be the best companion for Lady Delprius.”
An invisible shockwave hurtled towards me.
It easily shattered Carly’s barrier, and the impact tore my clothes, strange sounds emanating from within my body.
Perhaps bones were broken or cracked…
”Guh.”
”Kent!”
”How could someone like this be a Demon Lord? Did Carlamia get ruined by him?”
”I am not ruined! Sir Kent is the owner of ‘Red’ and a person from Another World! Moreover, Sir Kent can use Divine Magic! He wields the technique only Orphée Bleu could use, ‘Divine Magic!’ He is undoubtedly the reincarnation of Orphée Bleu!”
Clayd’s expression darkened upon hearing Carly’s revelation.
”Divine Magic? That thing has long since vanished! Stop your nonsense!”
I decided to use Divine Magic despite my aching body, digging a deep hole at Clayd’s feet.
”Creation of the Universe!”
Divine Magic activated and the floor beneath Clayd vanished, replaced by a deep hole.
Clayd couldn’t react to the suddenly missing floor and fell.
”What the hellllll! Gathered magic element! Wings, lift my body! ‘Flying Wings’!”
However, Clayd flew out from the hole I created.
His back sprouted wings made of magical power.
”No way… he’s flying?”
My shock was immense since it was an attack aimed at a resurrection.
”What an interesting technique… I let my guard down because I didn’t sense any magic. But you won’t defeat me with just that level of skill.”
Milly lunged at Clayd for the third time, but was easily dodged and took a direct hit from a Flame Bomb, crashing into the wall.
Though it seemed the power was greatly restrained, I felt fear from Clayd, who was an S-Class Hunter and defeated her in one blow.
”Cough… no way… so fast.”
Carly also scattered Ice Bullets for support, but they missed Clayd and only froze the walls of the office.
”So fast… I can’t stop Sir Clayd! Sir Kent, escape quickly! Dee… so give up… ugh!”
Carly suddenly began to suffer.
”Carly, did you forget I cast Geass magic on you? If you reveal secrets, death awaits.”
”Secrets?”
Clayd’s words struck me oddly.
I just learned Dee was Clayd’s daughter, but she seemed to have a deeper secret.
Dee, who forcefully broke the Bind Magic, stood before her father.
”Father! Dee is already carrying Kent’s child! The child in my belly will be the grandchild of the Black Dragon Dukedom!”
The room fell into silence with Dee’s shocking confession.
Clayd looked at Dee’s belly and collapsed to his knees, devastated.
Wait… Dee is pregnant?
This is the first I’ve heard of it!
”Dee… you’re only 16… how can you be having a child… cough!”
Dee seized the opportunity and landed a straight punch to Clayd’s abdomen.
Clayd’s barrier could not absorb Dee’s attack completely, leaving a residue of black mist embedded in his stomach.
”Guhhh! Dee…”
”Father, I’m sorry. That was a lie… I’ll make it a reality soon, so please wait.”
Clayd, hit by Dee’s attack, desperately tried to stand, but his legs trembled and lacked strength.
More than that, I was very curious about the words “grandchild of the Black Dragon Dukedom” that Dee had thrown out.
”Dee… who exactly are you?”
Dee looked troubled by my question.
”I… I’m sorry, Father… I don’t want to lie to Kent…”

”Kent is not a nagging bone. He’s my husband! I don’t want to hide that I am the daughter of Black Dragon King Faburanoa and belong to the Black Dragon clan Dragonia!”
I couldn’t hide my astonishment at Dee’s confession.
Dee was the daughter of the queen of the Black Dragon Dukedom and also the daughter of Hero Clayd, the True Demon.
Hearing the names of Dee’s parents caused Milly to gasp in surprise.
”W-wait a moment! Dee. Being the child of Faburanoa and Sir Clayd means… could you be [that]?!”
Clayd, revived from the healing light, began to speak, interrupting Milly’s question.
”You all, if you dig any deeper, the Demon Lord will target your lives! Especially you, Kent Blackdagger. If this fact of having Miriallia, the Black Dagger of Dream Demon, as your official wife while also having Dee, the Black Dragon princess, reaches Gwain, you’ll be seen as a rebel against the True Demon Kingdom and hunted down. If you don’t want to drag Dee into that situation, give up and break up with her.”
Clayd said that by obtaining Dee, I would gain more recognition as a figure of further rebellion, increasing the likelihood of being targeted by the people of the royal capital, including Gwain.
”Mr. Clayd, if the Demon Lord or Gwain threatens me or my family, I will crush the True Demon Kingdom. I don’t mean to be arrogant, but I can sway half of this world to my side. I possess such ability.”
”Kent Blackdagger… What are you saying? Have you lost your mind? Crush the True Demon Kingdom? Just a mere lord from the frontier?”
If the lives of those who have become my family are at risk, I will not hesitate to spread the [Handsome Guy] virus.

Clayd looked at me with a shocked expression after hearing Milly’s words.
”For the Dream Demon clan leader to say that… then, Dee should be safest with Kent… No! That won’t do! She’ll get pregnant!”
”Father… I have already become a body that cannot live without Kent.”
Dee’s words reignited the anger that had calmed Clayd.
He seemed enveloped in a rainbow light from stacking multiple Body Enhancement Magic spells.
”Kent Blackdaggerrrrrrr! I will kill you!!”
Ms. Dee… You’ve really caused a disaster… The castle we built looks like it’s about to blow away…
”Everyone evacuate! Get out of this room, or rather, the castle! Hurry!”
”I will kill you!!”
Enraged, Clayd continued to unleash more Body Enhancement Magic.
The light grew brighter and brighter.
”Ugh…”
Thud.
”Huh?”

We decided to carry the unconscious Clayd into the guest room.
