(Hiroya’s POV)
In the end, it was the last day of our stay in the capital, but we spent the afternoon at Toldo’s store without going anywhere else.
Toldo meticulously maintained and adjusted Liz’s composite bow, as well as Liz’s Yamikirimaru (Ōwakizashi), hand axes, and hatchets.
”These kinds of tools need to be maintained regularly. And this one is a good piece. Take good care of it.”
He hands the beautifully sharpened hand axe and hatchet to Liz.
”Thanks. I’ll be careful.”
Liz puts the hand axe and hatchet away in her backpack.
”Well, I should go back to the inn and pack my bags. I need to get up early to prepare for our departure.”
Kazumi looks at the orange light streaming through the window, squinting.
”You’ve been a big help. Thank you.”
Liz offers her hand to Toldo.
”Yeah. Come back if you need anything.”
Toldo shakes her hand.
”I wanted to say goodbye to the three sisters, but…”
Rena mutters regretfully. Yeah, she wasn’t around in the afternoon.
”Your departure is tomorrow morning, right? You can greet them then.”
Toldo takes a puff on his pipe.
And we left the store of the “Kingdom’s Greatest Blacksmith (Toldo Freeberry)” after thanking him repeatedly.

(Kazumi’s POV)
After packing our bags and having dinner, we all took a bath together and then went out into the courtyard to enjoy the night breeze.
(Martina always does this, but she was unusually clingy to Hiroya in the bath, and Liz…)
I can’t believe it, but I think Liz might be… But…
(Liz said she likes Ares, but something about it bothers me…)
Liz and Ares are not officially dating yet. What I’m concerned about is the way Ares looks at Liz.
It’s not the look of a man in love, but rather a lustful gaze. My 29 years of experience as a woman tells me so.
(I wonder how Ares feels about Liz)
And Liz has started to tease Hiroya a little, probably since the night she was attacked by the “incubus.” There might have been something between Hiroya and Liz that night. Well, it’s just a woman’s intuition.

I found Martina gazing at the starry sky from a bench in the courtyard.

”…Did he kiss you?”
I continued the conversation without answering Martina’s question.
”…Yeah. It was a normal one because it was inside the store.”
”Were you happy?”
Martina’s eyes filled with tears as I asked.
”Yeah… Big Sis Kazumi, I’m sorry…”
”Why are you apologizing?”
”I… I like Big Brother Hiroya…”
”Yeah.”
”I love Big Brother Hiroya… I love him so much…”
”Good job. You said it well.”
I reached out and stroked Martina’s head.
”But Big Brother Hiroya likes you too?”
”Hiroya loves Martina very much.”
”But that’s… I’m like his little sister…”
Tears rolled down Martina’s cheeks.
”I just want him to like me. I don’t need anything in return… I just want to be by Hiroya’s side. So, Big Sis Kazumi… please forgive me for loving Hiroya.”
Martina, who was taller than me, started crying, burying her face in my chest.
”Don’t you want to be kissed by Hiroya? Don’t you want to be embraced by him? .”
”No! My dirty body must not be touched by Big Brother Hiroya!”
