We stepped out of the dungeon.
It was strange to think that someone had already destroyed the dungeon core, but the fun we had inside the dungeon, the battles with monsters, and the memories of fighting alongside Ms. Alice seemed to light up this moment for me.
(Oh, speaking of which…)
”Lady Alice, I haven’t heard your second request yet. Can I ask what it is?”
I called out to Ms. Alice, who was staring at me and seemed frozen for some reason.
”Y-yes! Um, p-please be my friend!!”
Ms. Alice, looking flustered, sent me a friend request.
”Oh, sure! I’d be happy to if someone like me is okay!”
From the first time I saw Ms. Alice, I was drawn not only to her beautiful appearance but also to her voice, gestures, and gentle aura.
Most importantly, she is the ‘Sword Saint Princess.’
I had hoped to be like her, so I nodded without thinking.
”R-really?”
”Yes, I wouldn’t lie about something like this.”
”Sir Rob…”
Ms. Alice blushed and looked at me with eyes full of expectation.
She looked so cute.
”Rob, stop dawdling and let’s go home!”
”Come on, let’s go home and do the training that big brother loves!”
Suddenly, Rumi and Nana appeared from behind me, pulling on my arms.
These 2 always interrupt whenever I start talking to Ms. Alice.
(Oh, Ms. Alice is giggling)
”Sir Rob, if you don’t mind, could you come to my house? I’ve always dreamed of having tea with friends!”
I’ve been invited to Ms. Alice’s house in the neighboring Sphere Kingdom.
”N-No! If you go, I’m going too!”
Rumi argues, looking strangely flustered.
”If my brother is going, of course, I’m going too!”
Nana chimes in.
I’m curious about what Sphere Kingdom is like.
Plus, now that I’ve become friends with Ms. Alice, it’s not easy to meet someone from another country.
I look at my dad, asking for permission to visit.
”Dad, can I go to Lady Alice’s house? I’ve been wondering what Sphere Kingdom is like… and if I miss this chance, I don’t know when I’ll see Lady Alice again…”
Feeling a bit nervous, I ask, and my dad responds with a kind smile.
”Sure! Go ahead, Rob! You can stay for up to 5 days. If it takes longer than that to come back, Emma and I will come to get you.”
I feel relieved by his words and smile.
”Okay, I’m going! Thank you, Dad!”
My cheerful voice comes out naturally.
”Well, that sounds fine. Rob, take this with you.”
Mom Emma says with a smile, handing me the [Dawn Sword].
”Rob, I’m going too!”
Rumi says, so I check with Ms. Alice.
”Lady Alice, is it okay if Rumi comes with me?”
”Sure. It’s fine if everyone wants to go.”
Ms. Alice agreed with a smile.
”I’ll pass because I need to report about the dungeon core.”
”Hmm, I’m not good with formal places, so I’ll skip it too.”
It seems Dad and Mom won’t be going.
”I’m definitely going! I’m worried about just Brother and Ms. Rumi!”
Nana was eager to join.
”Nana, you can’t go. Let’s go home together.”
”Eh! Mom! I want to go with Brother Rob too──.”
”──No-way!”
”Eek!”
Nana trembled in surprise at Mom’s words.
”Phew… Not long ago, I thought you hated Rob, but now you’re really attached to your big brother.”
Mom’s words made me feel a bit shy, but I was also happy.
It seems Nana can’t go.
It’s decided that Rumi and I will go to Sphere Kingdom.

In the main story of ‘Princess Rave,’ Sphere Kingdom had already been destroyed.
Honestly, I can’t shake off the anxiety that something like that might really happen in the future.
I wonder if there’s any way to get Ms. Alice to move to our country, Altia… Even though I know it’s impossible, that thought won’t leave my mind.

Sphere Kingdom is a country located to the east of Altia.
Since the dungeon this time is in a deep forest on the border between Altia and Sphere Kingdom, it seems both countries thought it was their own territory.
In this dungeon exploration, my dad accepted a request to destroy a dungeon core at the Adventurer’s Guild in Altia, while Ms. Alice took on a similar request at the Adventurer’s Guild in Sphere Kingdom.
I heard that in Sphere Kingdom, those who receive combat jobs from the goddess during the ‘Divine Revelation’ ceremony at the age of 5 can become adventurers at the young age of 8 after 3 years of tough combat training in the guild.
Ms. Alice became an adventurer at 8 years old and is already a C-rank adventurer.
Also, it seems that everyone in Ms. Alice’s party can use flying magic, so we should be able to reach Sphere Kingdom faster than expected.

As a clear light shone through the dull gray sky, I flew toward Sphere Kingdom with Rumi on my back, along with Ms. Alice’s party.
”Our country, Sphere Kingdom, is still fighting against the demon race. The residents are so afraid of their attacks that they sleep underground.”
Ms. Alice said, her voice showing a bit of tension.
”Underground, there is a city that is peaceful, but above ground, there are barrier towers, barracks for soldiers and adventurers, training grounds, weapon stores, and guilds──everything needed for battle. We train every day while maintaining the barrier.”
Her words conveyed the struggles and hardships in Sphere Kingdom.
(A demon race, huh… I like fighting, but I don’t think I have the courage to go to a place where a demon king might appear.)
Soon, I saw the distant walls ahead, and Ms. Alice’s eyes sparkled.
”Look, that’s the barrier of the Sphere Kingdom!”
”Oh! That’s amazing!”
”It’s so beautiful!”
Rumi and I exclaimed in awe.
As we got closer, the huge barrier revealed itself, and we could see the shining, super massive protective field covering the country.
It looked like a strong and beautiful symbol of defense.

We followed Ms. Alice and arrived at the side entrance where the guard was waiting.
”Thank you for your hard work. We finished the guild’s request and have returned.”
”Understood. …Um, who are these two?”
”They are my friends. Is it okay for them to pass?”
”Yes! No problem!”
”Then, let’s go. …Welcome to the Sphere Kingdom.”
Ms. Alice smiled gently and opened the door to the side entrance.
Once we entered the barrier, we passed by the guard’s station and stepped into the center of the Sphere Kingdom.
The first things that caught our eyes were the armory, the soldiers’ dormitory, the emergency treatment center, and the stables.
In addition, tall towers were evenly placed in the distance, standing like guardians.
”Lady Alice, I can see many tall towers. Do they maintain the barrier?”
”Yes, that’s correct. There are a thousand magical devices for the barrier installed in the country’s walls and the towers you see now, constantly maintaining the barrier by replenishing Magic Power.”
”That’s amazing… Do demons often attack here?”
”Yes… it’s been getting worse lately. More demons are trying to break the barrier from sunset until sunrise.”
Ms. Alice’s words conveyed the harsh reality of the Sphere Kingdom.
In her eyes, there was a strong determination mixed with anxiety.
That sight weighed heavily on my chest.

We were guided by Ms. Alice to her house in the underground city.
”Thank you for your hard work getting here. Dinner will be ready soon, so please relax in the guest room until then. Ms. Elna, please show Sir Rob and Lady Rumi to their room.”
As Ms. Alice said this with a gentle smile, a kind-looking maid nodded.
”Understood. Now, Sir Rob and Lady Rumi, please follow me.”
Elna whispered politely and began to walk ahead of us.
Following Ms. Elna’s lead, Rumi and I walked behind her.
Around us were arched hallways lit with warm light and walls decorated with beautiful paintings, making it feel like we were in a dream.
”This is our guest room. If you need anything, please don’t hesitate to ask.”
When we arrived at the room, Ms. Elna opened the door.
”Wow…! This room is so beautiful!”
Rumi exclaimed, her eyes sparkling as she looked around the room.
Inside, there was a soft bed and fluffy cushions, with gentle light streaming in through the window.
”Lady Alice seems tired from exploring the dungeon, so I think she will rest until dinner. Please enjoy your time here.”
”Thank you, I’ll relax here.”
I said, and Elna nodded kindly,
”Well then, I will come back later.”
She smiled and left the room.
Rumi jumped onto the bed with a big smile.
”Wow, this bed is so soft and feels great! Rob, can I sleep here with you?”
”Of course, let’s rest together!”
Time with Rumi is truly healing for my heart.
While thanking Ms. Alice, we relax and wait for dinner.
