In the southeastern part of the Sphere Kingdom, there is a dungeon called ‘Beast’s Lair.’
Here, more than half of the monsters are orcs, along with wolf-like creatures with sharp fangs and bird-like monsters that fly around, waiting inside the dungeon.
This dungeon has 50 floors, and you need a decent level to start from the 1st floor.
However, with the ‘Sword Saint’ Sir Edmond, who has already cleared all the way to the final floor, and our reliable maids Mimi and Momo, we could move deeper without much worry.
And now, we had reached the 25th floor, which is the middle floor.
One feature of this dungeon is that there is a boss monster waiting every 5 floors, and they are really strong.
Edmond and the two maids will join the fight starting from the thirtieth floor.
Now, the boss monster we are facing is called “Blood Orc Balzac.”
He is covered in red skin that looks like blood, and his body is marked with countless scars.
His eyes have a terrifying look, as if they hold the spirits of the dead, giving a strong sense of threat to challengers.
His attack methods are truly frightening.
He uses magic that absorbs the life force around him, slashes with a huge blade at close range, and even attacks by shooting blood from his hands.
”Haah!”
My heart races.
I close in on Balzac instantly with ‘Godspeed Dance’ and slash at him with ‘Chain Attack Dance.’
Balzac attacked me with a big blade while also splattering blood with his other hand, but everything was slow.
I was able to take him down easily by myself.
”Good job, Alice. I only supported you a little with magic at first, then I just watched from a distance…”
”That’s not true. I felt safe fighting because even if I got hurt, Charl would heal me.”
”Ho ho… You’ve gotten quite strong since I last saw you. At this point, you could fight in the war of the demon race country without any problems.”
”Thank you. …But I’m still not good enough. I want to level up to 99 quickly and fight alongside my father.”
”Normally, a young girl like you shouldn’t get involved in bloody wars… But the situation is so desperate now that we can’t say that anymore. You might want to think about escaping to the man you like?”
Sir Edmund suggested with a slight sigh.
”N-no… I can’t do that! I can’t just abandon all the people who have been so good to me since I was born and run away…”
I desperately argued back.
”Ah… You’re such a kind child… Now, Charl, do you feel the same way? I want you to be raised well, but I also wish you would evacuate to neighboring Altia and not get involved in the war. Some of your siblings have already escaped.”
Sir Edmund said quietly but seriously.
”…I love Alice, so if Alice isn’t escaping, then I won’t escape either!”
Charl replied with strong determination.
”…What? Do you prefer girls over boys?”
”Wh-What!? N-No, that’s not it! I just think of Alice like a very important family member!!”
Charl explained while blushing.
”Hehehehe! Well, if that’s the case, I can’t help it. I’ll be by your side, so until then, fight without fear. …But if an enemy appears that can defeat me, you must run away. If such a foe shows up, this country will be doomed…”

30th Floor.
Black Mage Orc – Darkslug.
Appearance: Wrapped in a black cloak, his face is hidden. Magic Circles float around him, creating a strange atmosphere.
Attack Method: Uses powerful dark magic and summons orc minions to fight.
35th Floor.
Miasma Orc – Mardas.
Appearance: Has greenish skin, with black miasma rising from his body.
Attack Method: Uses miasma for area attacks, poisoning anyone who gets close. In close range, he attacks with miasma blades.
40th Floor.
Thunder Orc – Torglass.
Appearance: Has pale blue skin with lightning patterns, giving off a sense of great power. He has lightning horns on his head and is always charged with static electricity.
Attack Method: Shoots arrows wrapped in lightning, targeting from a distance. In close combat, he slashes with a lightning sword, sending electric currents to anything he touches.
45th Floor.
Corrupted Orc – Nephilis.
Appearance: Covered in black armor, his eyes shine strangely. He gives off an eerie feeling as one who has fallen into corruption.
Attack Method: Uses curses to attack, aiming for slips and hindrances. In close range, he uses special chains to bind and attack.
50th Floor.
Ancient Orc – Eldark.
Appearance: A terrifyingly large orc with bark-like skin. Ancient patterns are carved on its face, making it seem like a part of the earth.
Attack Method: It slams the ground to create earthquakes and has the ability to control plants. In close combat, it attacks with a huge club that looks like a tree.
We defeated the boss monsters that appeared every 5 floors, and after some tough battles, we finally reached the deepest part.
After that, the two maids brought a lot of food, and we kept going back and forth between the 45th and 50th floors, defeating the boss monsters right after they respawned.
At night, one of the maids would stay awake to keep watch, and they even prepared a bath by filling a tub with hot water using earth, water, and fire magic. Surprisingly, even though we were in a dungeon, we were comfortable enough to stay for days.
So, except for the times we restocked on food, we spent about 6 months fighting in the dungeon.
Finally, I reached level 99, which was my growth limit.

Since I had maxed out my level, we decided to return to our respective mansions to rest.
As soon as I opened my status window in my room, I was shocked and wide-eyed.
”What… what is this…?”
