Aurelia came to my side and placed her hand on me.
The laser grew even thicker.
”Kent! If you keep dragging your feet, we’ll be in trouble, so take that thing out fast!”
Lina kicked my shin while placing her hand on me.

Lana also gently placed her hand on me.

The mist, soaked in blood, was swiftly sucked into a jewel-like object that appeared in the center.
After absorbing all the mist, the jewel vanished into the vast sky.
”Mission accomplished! Sazukrain, take good care of it!”
Feria was speaking to the jewel that had disappeared into the distance.
Has it truly ended… Am I allowed to continue living in this world… It’s okay, right…
My consciousness faded here under the intense pain coursing through my body.

The next place I woke up was the bed in the palace.
A week had passed since the fierce battle with Orphée Bleu.

”On the other hand, the Demon Lord’s direct territory is increasing. His Majesty Shifa has declared that he will pay nobles a salary based on their rank, instead of land, in the future. Landowning nobles will drastically decrease.”
Salary…it’s true, there’s a limit to land…if it can be solved with money, it might be cheaper.
”So, that’s about it for what happened in a week?”
”Yes. By the way, you haven’t taken a bath for a week, would you like to take one now? Or shall I prepare a meal?”
Annabella finished her report and the new wife asked something like that.
Her face seems to be blushing slightly.
