As you can see, I was really having a hard time teaching Wen human common sense.
I thought I would teach her that some things are good and some things are bad, but there were way too many patterns to think about for good and bad situations, making it difficult to teach properly.
That said, if I taught her in a vague way that could be interpreted in any way, I felt like it would definitely lead to no good.

Wen agreed with my words as I murmured that to myself.
By the way, is Estesia-san’s talk still not over?
I think more than 30 minutes definitely passed while I was teaching Wen common sense, but I wonder if there was some complicated reason for that.

After leaving the room with Wen, we stood in front of the door to the next office, and I could hear voices talking inside.

Even though I was told not to listen, I felt guilty just standing there eavesdropping, so I knocked on the door.

I waited a few seconds just in case, but since I wasn’t told not to come in, I confirmed again and opened the door.
”Excuse me… um, is the talk still not over──?”
As I entered the office and went around the back of the sofa, I froze at the sight that came into view.
The faces of Diana and Lewya, who had probably been listening to Estesia-san, looked completely worn out.
”Hey, are you two okay?”
”N-Neil… you saved me… If I had listened to Estesia’s talk any longer, I would have been brainwashed.”
”Wait a minute! Don’t say such a bad thing like brainwashing! I was just simply talking about the greatness of that thing! Besides, what do you mean ‘saved me’!? You were the one who started asking for reasons!”
”No one expects to ask for one reason and get back ten, no, a hundred.”
With a worn-out face, Diana weakly says that.
I have never seen Diana looking this exhausted.
”What on earth were you talking about?”
”That… is a secret from you.”
So she won’t tell me the details, huh?

I’m sorry, Estesia-san, but I’ll secretly ask the two of them later──

As Estesia-san said this and tried to take something out from her pocket, Diana and Lewya shook their heads violently.
For a moment, I saw something that looked like a book, “Fool’s (Stool)… what is that?”
All I caught in that instant was that title, and it seemed to be something like a novel based on its size.
I couldn’t understand why the two were so scared just from her trying to take out a book, so I could only tilt my head in confusion.
”I’m sorry, Neil-sama. If there’s anything we can tell you, it’s that Estesia-sama has no ill intentions towards you, that’s for sure.”
”That’s right; Estesia *won’t* do anything to betray Neil.”
”Of course, that’s obvious.”

The 3 seem to agree, but I can’t agree with them at all.
”Phew… but it was an unexpected outcome. I’m glad that the troublesome intruder problem has been solved.”
”Yes, we were troubled by this matter, but in the end, I think it was a good experience that made us aware of our weaknesses… that said, Estesia-sama will have to face some punishment.”
”I know that, so don’t glare at me like that; I won’t complain now.”
”Well then, since we found Neil safely, let’s get back to work.”
”Yes, we’ve spent more time on this than I expected, so let’s put Estesia-sama’s punishment aside and return to work.”
”──Huh? Is it really over just like this? I’m still not satisfied at all!”
”I’m sorry, Neil, but I can’t tell you anything more than this.”
”I can assure you that this won’t cause any harm to you, so don’t worry.”
”No, it’s not about worrying or anything like that?”
”Well then, we will take our leave now.”
”Ah! Wait a minute!”
”Ah, since it’s my fault, right? I was supposed to have the afternoon off, but I will help with work too.”
Ignoring my voice trying to stop them, the 3 of them ran out of the office.
So… it seems that this matter has been settled.
