A golden wheat field stretches to the horizon.
White, fluffy clouds drift slowly across the blue sky.
Oh no, another beautiful day.
Summer is coming, and the sun is getting stronger.
For an adventurer like me, cloudy days are a blessing.
Rainy days… are the worst.
If it rains, that day is a day off.
It was cool when I left the village at dawn, but now my leather armor is already damp with sweat.
At this rate, it’s going to be really hot this afternoon.
A beautiful blonde woman quietly follows behind me.
Her adventurer outfit looks cool, made from a light fabric.
With the +1 bonus, her defense is about the same as my leather armor.
I wonder if she feels hot being a doll?
I’d like to swap outfits with her; she would look good in leather armor too.

Almost 17, I’m stuck at 168 cm and not growing.

At first glance, she looks just like a human.
I thought she was a real person for the first few days.
Her head is made from artificial body parts created by magic, looking just like a human.
Her body and limbs look like wooden mannequins.
They managed to cut costs by sharing parts with commercial golem maids, it seems.
Well, dressed up and with gloves, she looks like a proper princess.
She’s a bit slow, but quite knowledgeable, able to read, write, and do math.
She can use basic healing magic too.
Right now, she’s a reliable and important partner for me.
Since her identification name is Auroora 217, I call her Ms. Nina.
