*Iska’s Perspective
I heard from Heta and the others that after Rosalinda lost to Lord Blackdagger, she got into his carriage and headed to his castle.
I was a bit worried, but they told me that according to our agreement, our ‘Rootless Weed’ would join Lord Blackdagger’s elite Hunting Group.
So, Rosalinda was going to his castle for the contract.
Later, after sunset, a representative named Annabella from the Majin Clan offered us a new lodging, a grand mansion built in the prime area of Westferm.
While Heta and the others moved into the new place and decided on room assignments, night fell.
Everyone was amazed by the luxurious facilities of the new mansion.
Each of us had our own room, but the fancy beds were so unfamiliar that we ended up all sleeping together in the big hall.
I wondered if Rosalinda would laugh if she saw us like that.
Then, as the date changed and I woke up in the early morning to the sound of the carriage neighing, I heard voices coming from the entrance.
I quietly made my way to the entrance, trying not to wake anyone.
There, I found Rosalinda, her fur shiny and well-groomed, dressed in fine clothes, slumped at the entrance.
She already had a youthful face, but she looked even younger now.
”Rosalinda… welcome back… we really moved up, huh? Can we use this mansion freely? I wasn’t sure, so we all gathered and slept in the big hall…”
”Ah, yes… Iska… our employer is an amazing person. I’ve given my body and soul to him. Living for him is my reason to exist now. Once your match is over, you’ll understand how great he is, so you must win today!”
Rosalinda gripped my shoulder with a flushed face, and I could smell her strong scent.
The scent that female cats give off when they are in heat can excite males of all species and increase their desire.
But unfortunately, I had never been in heat, so I couldn’t really understand its effect.
She seemed to be in quite the heat just a moment ago.
”Did you sleep with Lord Blackdagger?”

”If Rosalinda wants, I’ll come to see you if we lose to Manon’s team today. But if we win, we’ll be enemies next, so I can’t see you yet.”
”That’s true. Today, we’re facing Manon, said to be the strongest team under Lord Blackdagger. She’ll attack from far away, so it’s hard to say if Heta and the others will last. If you can reach Manon, victory is almost certain.”
Since I single-handedly beat Kerstin’s team, the leader of the Black Bullet Hunting Group, I think Manon will come at us without holding back.
”Maybe I should let Heta and the others drop out… I can fight alone. They won’t forgive me for beating their Hunting Group Leader, right?”
If Heta and the others fight against Manon, they will definitely get hurt, considering the skill difference.

”That’s something Heta and the others have to handle. They would feel bad if people said they got a good life just by sticking to a girl like you. They need to show some real skill, or they’ll be laughed at, so they should try hard.”
Rosalinda shrugged her shoulders and gave a wry smile.
You could tell she was worried about Heta and the others, but more than that, as the Hunting Group Leader, she wanted to see them grow.

Even Noemi, who didn’t participate in the Beast King Tournament, was so proud of the top female Hunting Group that she begged to join as an extra fighter.
”Manon… Even though Kerstin and her Hunting Group succeeded in treatment, Lady Lana warned them to rest for a while.”
Noemi, who decided to join, told us about Kerstin’s condition.
Luckily, thanks to the healers at Lana’s clinic, Kerstin’s team wasn’t in life-threatening danger, but they had fractures.
They were told to stay still for about a week.
”Nya… I swear I’ll make that woman into a beehive and make her squeal before I knock her out-nya. And for some reason, just looking at her makes me want to Lila-nya.”
Sir Kent told me that Iska is a woman of the extinct panther species, and I had heard about her ability before.
But the ability she showed in the fight with Kerstin was shocking──truly amazing.
Plus, if she can absorb an enemy monster’s ability and turn it into her own, she’s a very dangerous opponent.

Noemi was angry that ‘Rootless Weed,’ the group Iska belongs to, became Sir Kent’s direct-hunting group.

Noemi asked if Liliana was going to bring out the new gear made for fighting Beast Monsters.

Noel’s body reacts sharply to the sudden sensation.
