Hmmm.
I had a dream.
In that dream, I was surrounded by n*ked, beautiful women, and we were all having a blast together.
Guess who was there?
Ms. Flare, of course.
And Ms. Lyra too. She looked so young and fresh—like a totally different person!
But wait, it doesn’t stop there…
Ms. Erin was there too. And she was way more active than usual, with bigger boobs than the real one!
There were so many beautiful women, but right when things were about to get really interesting… I realized it was just a dream! And boom, I woke up just before it could go further.
So, was that one of those “horny dreams”?
I remember a friend from way back told me that “horny dreams” are better than the real thing.
I can’t remember his real name, but his nickname? Nightking. Sounds cool, right? Nightmare King.
He used to say if you got used to it, you could control the dream.
He said you could make it exactly what you wanted, and that would be like ruling the world.
He was a weird guy, but harmless. Everyone just let him be.
Was it a good dream? Sure. But, is this what “horny dreams” are like?
Dang, I can’t remember the details now!
Nightking could just go back to sleep and finish it, but me? Nope.
I always thought “horny dreams” came with wet dreams, but… my underwear and futon are clean.
So, I guess I woke up just before it could happen?
Wait… Isn’t it true that morning dreams come true?
But… Ms. Lyra and Ms. Erin were so different from reality, so I’m pretty sure that’s not the case.
Maybe I saw Ms. Flare and the others n*ked earlier, and my brain just mixed things up, causing that dream.
Anyway, time to get serious now. The real investigation starts today.
I’m going to join the investigation quest!
The basic reward for the investigation quest is 1 gold, but depending on what I find, it could go up.
I don’t mind 1 gold, really.
But where do I go first?
Should I break Mr. Chaa’s alibi?
Ugh, do I have to see his hot face first thing in the morning? Nah, pass.
I’ll go to the Honey Forest instead! Sounds much better.
So… you think I should break Chaa’s alibi first, or just go to the Honey Forest and hope for some clues there?
I’ll go to the Honey Forest first.
”Wow, how beautiful”
Ms. Nina looks at the herb garden, and she says “Wow!”
Ah, Ms. Nina has never been here before.
Small stingless bees shine emerald green, and they fly like arrows of light.
”Work hard, and get lots of honey!”
”Good morning, Sir Hero.”
Ms. Erin comes out from the log house.
She looks better than I thought, after what happened.
I remember the dirty dream I saw this morning, and my ears are hot.
Ms. Erin is blushing too.
”Did she read my mind?”
If she has that skill, it’s embarrassing.
We all sit at the table in the shade of the trees.
”This is tea made from cowberry grass, I think it will be good for you too, young lady~desuwa.”
Ms. Nina is a doll and can only eat water and special candy.
But Ms. Erin knows that, and she prepared something special for her.
”It smells good, and it’s really delicious!”
I didn’t know Ms. Nina could taste things.
Maybe this is the first time I’ve seen her look so happy.
I have to do more things for her before her life is over.
I drink tea and eat pancakes with lots of honey.
Ms. Erin’s cooking is really delicious!
Oops, I forgot!
I came here for the investigation quest today.
”I’m glad Ms. Erin is doing well. Actually, I came here for the investigation quest today.”
When I say that, Ms. Erin blushes and looks down.
”About that… I will report everything to the village head later, so it’s okay.”
”Eh?”
Could it be, did she already solve the mystery?
Is Ms. Erin a great detective, and I’m just a stupid sidekick?
”Sir Hero, I’m sorry for the trouble… No, I think I will cause you trouble in the future, but… please take care of me.”
If it’s for Ms. Erin, I don’t mind staying up all night.
I got a reward for the emergency quest.
Well, it’s better not to say it.
The tea party is over, and I go to the guild hall, talking with Ms. Erin.
I didn’t get any hints about the case.
When we went to the guild, Ms. Erin and Mr. Laken went to a room.
After waiting for a while, Mr. Laken said the case was solved.
They didn’t explain it to everyone.
I got a bonus of 10,000 gold for bringing Ms. Erin.
The village gate will open soon, so I can hunt quail again tomorrow.
But I don’t know what happened, and it’s annoying.
Why didn’t they do a detective show?
At least tell me who did it.
