”It’s been a while, so it feels good, right?”
Harue spoke softly as she washed Haruto’s head.
”Yeah, it feels good.”
Haruto answered quietly.
They talked gently while Harue stood behind Haruto, who sat in a chair.
”The head is done! Next is the body.”
Harue smiled and prepared the sponge.
”Okay.”
Harue lathered the sponge and carefully washed Haruto’s upper body.
She knelt down to reach his height easily.
”Haru-kun, please stand up.”
Haruto stood as she asked.
Harue washed carefully, making sure to clean every part properly.
She moved with care and respect.
”Face this way.”
Haruto turned around quietly.
Harue continued washing with gentle hands, focusing on cleanliness.
When she finished washing his whole body, she rinsed the soap off with water.
Haruto spoke softly after the shower stopped.
”Can you help me relax?”
Harue paused for a moment, understanding the meaning behind his words.
She took a deep breath.
”Alright,” she said quietly.
Haruto repeated, “Please.”
Harue nodded gently.

The Three Basic Desires
The three basic desires are usually hunger, sleep, and comfort.
These desires help keep people alive and healthy.
There is a clear order to these desires:
First is the desire for sleep.
Next is the desire for food.
Last is the desire for comfort and closeness.
Thanks to Harue’s kind care, Haruto had started eating well again.
He was also beginning to get enough rest.
Once those two needs were met, it was natural for him to seek the last one.
Harue, who knew about the body and mind, understood this well.
She knew how strong that desire could be.
If Harue had refused Haruto, there might have been two results:
He might have felt very upset, or he might have acted out in anger.
Haruto’s mind was not broken, so he was unlikely to hurt others.
But Harue knew she could be a target if he became desperate.
She had prepared herself for this moment.
Taking a steady breath, Harue helped Haruto calm down gently.
She acted with care and patience, knowing it was important for his healing.
