Volume 2 Chapter 7 Ada Of The Wall End
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
”By the way, who exactly is that woman? Why were you attacked?”
”Well… it’s a bit complicated.”
”Oh. Complicated, huh.”
Klock tried to gloss over the situation with Ada, but Tiet’s sharp stare cut through his half-baked reply.
He wondered what excuse to give when Ada woke up. Admitting to pickpocketing outright felt too risky—it would just spark unnecessary anger. Staying quiet and keeping things peaceful seemed like the safer path.
Blaming Ada outright might not work either. After all, people rarely trust thieves or merchants. Maybe… just hinting at something and letting them draw the wrong conclusion would be smarter.
”I thought she might be a night thief or something,” Tiet said, narrowing her eyes. “Bringing her here on purpose… I see. So it was your fault after all.”
”Well… it was just a little money,” Klock muttered. “Didn’t think she’d still be holding a grudge.”
”That’s your own fault,” Tiet replied with a sigh.
She didn’t press further, but the way she said still made it sound like this was something from the distant past. That little misdirection seemed to work.
Even if Tiet misunderstood Klock’s story, that wasn’t Klock’s fault. He hadn’t told a single lie. That meant he was in the clear—for now.
Quietly, Klock let a small smirk tug at his lips. Trickery that walked the line between truth and lies… it was starting to feel like a game.
”Who is that woman, anyway? When did you meet her?”
”Huh? Oh—Adelina. We met not long ago, actually. I picked her up after leaving the royal capital. No clue why, but she just started following me.”
Klock stiffened slightly.
He had used his skill to steal a slave contract from a trader. If that ever came to light, it’d be trouble for both of them.
”She doesn’t speak at all,” Tiet noted. “Is she shy?”
”No. It seems… she can’t speak.”
Their eyes turned to Adelina.
She stayed pressed closely to Klock, wearing her usual blank expression.
”She’s always like this,” Klock added. “Completely emotionless.”
”I see.”
Klock kept the explanation brief. No need to mention anything about thievery or slave traders.
The less said, the better. If Tiet learned too much, she might not stay lenient. It was better not to push his luck.
”…Ugh.”
A soft groan broke the tension. Klock turned his head and saw Ada stir slightly.
Her eyes blinked halfway open. Her face was still pale, and she hadn’t fully recovered—but she was conscious. A bad time to wake up.
Klock tensed, already trying to come up with a cover story.
”Earth Wall.”
The nearby knight, seated on a small rock, suddenly chanted a spell.
The ground surged, forming a thick wall of earth right where Ada lay. In a flash, she was sealed inside a protective mound of soil.
”Huh?! What are you doing?” Klock blurted out.
Tiet didn’t even look surprised.
”She needs to be restrained. I don’t care what happened—she attacked you. I can’t let her walk free.”
That made sense. It hadn’t just been a light scuffle.
Now that Klock thought about it, letting Ada move freely was a risk. If given the chance, she might try another ambush… or worse.
”Damn it, what is this?! I can’t move!”
Ada’s voice rang out from within the wall, full of fury.
Tiet might be stronger, but Ada was still dangerous. A wild beast, cornered and vengeful. Honestly, Klock could see why slave collars were a thing.
”…Ah, you’re awake.”
”…That voice… You! You’re the thief, aren’t you?!”
Even now, Ada was loud and furious. Her voice had the weight of an A-rank adventurer—relentless and unyielding.
But buried waist-deep in a dirt wall, with her legs sticking out and head probably poking through the other side, she didn’t look threatening at all.
”…Heh heh heh.”
”…What’s with that laugh?”
Klock was trying not to burst out laughing.
Somewhere deep inside, a mischievous itch stirred. Maybe it was time for a little harmless payback.
”Tiet, what do we do with her?”
”Hm? I don’t care. Kill her, let her go—your call.”
Tiet’s answer was blunt. Cold, even.
She had defeated Ada. Maybe cutting ties with the ‘hero’ side meant she didn’t care how things were handled anymore.
”What are you mumbling about?! Let me out, you bastards!”
”Shut it. Keep shouting and I’ll knock you out again.”
Tiet’s voice dropped, cold and sharp. A quiet threat lingered in her tone.
Ada seemed to sense the danger and finally fell silent.
Maybe now, she understood exactly who she was dealing with.
”…I don’t actually plan to kill her, though. That’s a bit too much.”
”Heh… I thought so. Well, if you’re going to break her down, now’s the time. There’s no water source nearby, so distractions are impossible. For a captive, whether they’re clean or not doesn’t really matter. It’s the perfect moment to deal with her.”
Tiet spoke coldly, with no sign of kindness.
Even he wouldn’t say something that harsh. Just because she’s no longer with the hero, isn’t this a bit extreme?
…Oh, right. She was a knight, so that kind of thinking fits her.
She was a former knight. Probably fought alongside soldiers in war. If she learned how to handle prisoners during battle, she’d definitely have a plan for it.
Seeing prisoners as tools or burdens wouldn’t be strange.
Well, if that’s the case, Klock thought as he stepped toward Ada, trapped inside the earthen wall.
With a soft crunch beneath his feet, Ada twitched. Sensing his approach, she started struggling again, but the wall made of Tiet’s magic didn’t move an inch, no matter how hard she tried.
Magic’s power depends on the user.
He doesn’t know how strong Tiet’s magic is, but this seems top-tier.
Klock reached Ada’s side and gently put his hand on her hips, which wriggled. She fought back, but since her legs were stuck in the wall, she could only move her hips a little.
”Don’t touch me with your filthy hands! You pervert!” she shouted.
”Kuhahha, you say that while dressed like this? You’re shaking your hips—aren’t you inviting me?” Klock teased.
”No way! You’re disgusting!” she yelled.
Ada struggled like a caught fish, full of energy and fierce words.
While holding her hips, Klock slid his hand slowly through the fabric. Ada jumped, trying hard to escape his touch, moving forward and upward, but the wall didn’t crack. There was no way out.
”Stop it! Don’t touch me! Hey, quit that!”
Though she couldn’t move freely, Ada kept yelling.
Ignoring her, Klock continued to work carefully, as if preparing something.
Like cooking ingredients, he pressed and rubbed her hips with one hand, while the other worked beneath the fabric, gently loosening the tightness.
Even through the clothes, her skin felt soft and delicate.
She struggled but only moved a little. Klock focused on sensitive spots, pressing and massaging with his palm. He traced her hips and thighs, feeling the strong muscles of a woman in her prime.
”Stop it! Damn, mmmph, you bastard! Ngh!”
Suddenly, Ada’s curses mixed with soft sounds.
His hand was now damp, stuck to her underwear. Enough moisture had gathered.
Klock stopped, took hold of the fabric protecting her, and pulled it down slowly.
The scent of a woman spread softly from under the cloth.
Her skin, warmed from the chase and careful touch, was wet and twitching gently. Thin hair clung closely, highlighting the delicate crease at the center.
A secret place, quietly inviting.
He pressed near the entrance, feeling moisture drip onto the lowered fabric.
It would definitely feel pleasant. Just looking at it made him think so—it was beautiful and alive.
Alright, this should be enough.
No more preparation was needed.
Deciding that, Klock revealed himself and positioned himself behind her.
He stayed just barely away from touching her, knowing she would resist by shaking her hips if pressed too close.
He kneaded her hips, pretending to be absorbed in the feeling, luring her into a false calm.
There was still no strong fight. Seizing the moment, he slowly moved forward, aiming carefully.
”Ugh… ahg…?!!”
Warmth. That was his first thought.
Her body, carefully prepared and held tight, gave a sublime comfort that made him breathe out softly from the moment he entered.
Startled by the sudden movement, her flesh rippled and moved around him, sending waves of strange, painful pleasure.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
Whoa, what?!
Startled by the noise, Ada seemed to be pounding on the wall.
Her head and one arm must have been outside the wall. Judging by the sounds, only one arm was free.
”Damn it, damn it, you really went through with this, huh?! Screw you! I’ll get you!! I’ll absolutely get you!!”
Ada screamed curses loudly.
Her voice echoed with his presence, and as she hit the wall hard, her muscles clenched tightly around him, squeezing with fierce strength.
Klock realized a woman who truly resisted felt amazing.
This was… incredible.
He stayed still, enjoying Ada’s reactions while moving carefully inside her.
This was dangerous. He could lose control just by staying still.
Letting himself be carried by the subtle movements around him, he focused on the sensations.
It was like a warm bath with a gentle massage.
”Aaaaah?!! Why won’t it stop?! Damn it, ugh, damn it, damn it, damn ittttt!!”
