Volume 4 Chapter 2 Boredom On The Ship 1️⃣*
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
Looking up, he saw a sky so vivid and blue it almost hurt to stare at.
Wisps of cloud, like trails of magic, drifted across the open sky. Below, endless deep blue stretched in all directions. White waves rolled toward the ship, surrounding it again and again, then spread out behind like a fading trail.
”…Haa…” he sighed, watching the never-ending ocean ahead.
His mind, still foggy after waking, filled with a soft unease.
This ship journey wasn’t new, and no one blamed him for anything. It had already been two days since they’d left the Imperial Capital’s bay.
Their destination was Lushelara Port, far to the east in the Federation.
This wasn’t a simple boat ride. It was a journey for just three people.
Yes, only three amateurs crossing the vast sea.
That truth stirred something inside him—fear.
”Ah, mornings are chilly after all,” he muttered, hugging himself as he looked out. “Even though it’s still autumn, why’s the north so cold?”
They were sailing through the North Sea of Mohlres.
From the deck, tiny fish swam quickly beneath the surface, fleeing from the cold. Now and then, a larger fish appeared, scattered the small ones, circled the ship a few times, and disappeared again. Maybe they were monsters?
Deep down in the freezing waters, sea dragons lived. Bigger than people, monsters, or even ships, these creatures were said to erase anything that angered them. Many who crossed them had simply vanished—left as nothing but drifting seaweed.
The sea was terrifying.
Vast. Bottomless.
And yet, people still crossed it.
It connected continents, carried goods, and linked lives. Traveling by sea was far faster than on land, so even dangerous waters were still used.
Still, for normal people—people like Klock, who had neither gold nor power—a sea voyage was something far beyond reach.
It was no casual lake cruise.
It was a challenge for the brave or the desperate.
”Chuu, chuu, chur, chupu…” he muttered aimlessly, watching the clouds swirl above.
What if a storm came? What if monsters attacked? What if something went wrong and he couldn’t do anything?
He clenched his chest as anxiety swirled inside.
Even though he’d taken action to survive, something about all this felt too big—too far from his grasp.
His fingers twitched with the urge to scratch that discomfort away.
He knew he wasn’t special, but realizing it again at this point felt pitiful.
”Haa. I’m just thinking about useless stuff—ugh!” he groaned suddenly as sharp jolts ran across his body.
In an instant, all his thoughts popped like bubbles.
”Hmm… Look…” he whispered, his voice tight as a warm pulse traveled through his lower body.
Pressure swelled—too much to hold back.
His release came all at once, as if something inside had reached its limit.
”…Fuu,” he exhaled, his breath long and shaky.
Relief sank deep into him. The warmth that had drawn it out lingered.
Part of him even thought it might be nice if she just stayed like that—quiet, gentle, and close.
Adelina, who had stayed still for a moment, started to move again with quiet eagerness. She rubbed his shaft with both hands while softly drawing circles with her tongue, still holding him gently with her lips.
”Mm… You’re good at this, Adelina,” Klock murmured, reaching down to run a hand through her hair.
She kept going, drawing out every last tremble, her movements patient and focused. She was always talented—but lately, it felt like she was improving even faster than before. Maybe she was practicing in her head when no one noticed.
As she worked, the storm inside him slowly faded.
It was like she’d drawn out every worry along with his release.
Even the fog in his mind began to clear.
Humans really were simple.
Sometimes, a bit of comfort—food, sleep, warmth—could calm the worst storms.
Even frustration, even anger, could vanish with a little peace.
Her fingers moved carefully, gently cradling him. She followed every tiny twitch, matching his rhythm without pause. It was like she understood every signal from his body, as if she could read the flow of his nerves.
He almost felt like collapsing.
It was such thoughtful, expert care that he thought—Maybe I really do want her to stay like this whenever she’s free.
It was selfish.
But the thought wouldn’t go away.
”…Fuu. You’ve really gotten too good at this,” he said, patting her head as she kissed the tip gently. “I’m gonna turn into a useless guy at this rate.”
She looked up, her eyes soft. Her tongue flicked lightly against him again, almost playfully, then slowly took him back into her mouth, licking softly.
”Hey… If you keep doing that,” he warned with a shaky breath, “I’m gonna want more.”
Maybe she was asking for it.
He felt that, deep down, as he spoke.
Usually, she gave him time to rest.
But this time, she wasn’t stopping.
Klock stood up from the edge of the deck, and Adelina followed him immediately.
She moved with a light pat-pat sound of bare feet, then placed her hands down nearby and leaned forward, raising her hips toward him.
He stared for a moment.
She didn’t need words. Her body spoke clearly.
She knew what he liked.
This pose, offered so openly, always stirred him. And with her blushing face turned toward him, her feelings were clear.
She couldn’t speak. That part hadn’t changed.
But maybe that was okay.
Some feelings didn’t need words.
He stepped closer and slowly lifted the hem of her one-piece dress. Just like the night before, she wasn’t wearing anything underneath. Her skin shone faintly in the morning light.
”…What are you two doing?” came a sudden voice behind them, sharp and annoyed.
”Oh, Suzette. You’re up?” Klock asked, glancing back.
”Yeah. Good morning, you cheating bastard. You’re real lively today,” Suzette muttered, folding her arms with a raised eyebrow.
That was just her usual tone—half-teasing, half-serious.
Her words were always a little spiky, but he’d gotten used to them.
Her pale-blue hair fluttered in the sea breeze as she stepped out from the deck cabin. Without delay, she began preparing the brazier, adding fresh firewood with practiced movements.
Meanwhile, Klock ran a hand over Adelina’s backside, ignoring the morning bustle.
Working right after waking up… how annoying.
He could help, sure—but at the moment, he had something else to focus on.
”…Seriously. Could you do that inside or something? You’re in the way,” Suzette said with a glare, clearly unimpressed.
Her voice was calm, but her eyes were sharp—like she was holding back a sigh.
He understand what she’s trying to say. She wants to start a fire to warm things up. It’s a bit of a hassle, especially on a morning when anyone would want to relax.
Still, it was Klock and the others who took the space first, and Suzette who stepped in and made things harder. Mutsugo also interfered. If someone had said, “Don’t do it under the morning sun,” that might’ve made sense. But here she is, standing with her hips out, ready. Klock can’t stop it now.
Even though Suzette offered her advice, he ignores it. His attention stays fixed on Adelina. Her soft body is calming to the touch, even without doing anything else. It’s soothing. Just the pressure alone is enough. Naturally, other places feel good too—but right now, it’s her curves that keep his hands from stopping.
”…Um, are you listening?” she asked with a sigh, turning slightly toward him. “If you keep doing that… in bed… haah. Whatever. Do what you want. I was stupid for trying to reason with a monkey.”
He could touch her forever. She was just that captivating. But even so, he couldn’t hold back the quiet breath that escaped his lips.
Just resting his hands on her hips gave a warm happiness—but it also stirred something deeper. A restless heat in his body started to grow. To calm that heat, only one answer seemed clear to him.
His body moved.
”…Mmm… ah… hmm…”
She let out a soft breath as he held her close. Without warning, he pressed their bodies together. The fit was perfect, like puzzle pieces meeting in just the right way. That pressure wrapped around him, snug and warm. His lower abdomen pressed against her, and a deep sense of satisfaction rose up from within.
Everything else disappeared.
He felt like there were things he should’ve been thinking about—but they all vanished. Looking back, none of them really mattered anyway. Nothing felt more important than being close to her. She seemed to feel the same. Her hips trembled slightly, and her body tightened around him, as though trying to hold on.
He stayed still for a moment after joining with her, simply enjoying the closeness. With a deep breath, he tilted his head to the sky and exhaled slowly. His hands gently held her waist as he closed his eyes, feeling the soft, subtle motions of her body around him.
Then, a thought popped into his mind.
”Slow… sex,” he recalled, almost amused. A kind where you take your time, savor every part.
He had tried it a few times. There were nights with women where he had tested everything, drawn out every reaction they had, just to hear the truth behind their voices.
But Adelina was different.
Her body responded to him with a kind of harmony he didn’t expect. Even back when he surprised her in her sleep, it had felt like her body naturally welcomed him. It wasn’t just a trick of the mind—it was real.
She had changed.
Her reactions weren’t like before. Whether she wanted it or not, she seemed perfectly shaped for him now. And once they connected, it was impossible to stop.
Overcome with feeling, he finally moved again. A shiver ran up his spine as her body tried to hold onto him. With each motion, warmth spread between them. A soft sound came with every breath, every quiet motion.
Was he more excited than usual? It felt that way.
He looked down.
Adelina, who had been holding herself steady with her legs apart and hands on the deck, was now leaning forward, clinging to the wooden floor. Her legs trembled, weak and unsteady. Without Klock’s hands holding her waist, she might’ve already collapsed.
They had just started—but she was already losing strength. It felt like they’d been together for hours.
He understood.
Adelina wouldn’t last long.
Perfect compatibility made things feel incredible—but it also meant their pace couldn’t be sustained. Compared to her delicate frame, Klock’s body had changed. Ever since that poison incident, he had grown more powerful in ways even he didn’t fully understand. Over the past days—yesterday, the day before—they had been together many times. Yet he felt no fatigue. If anything, he felt he hadn’t had enough.
He moved his hips again.
Her soft body responded gently to every motion. Pleasure came back to him, wave after wave. No pain. No weariness. His body simply worked.
Right now, if the goal was full satisfaction, one woman wasn’t enough.
As he continued, he held her waist more firmly to keep her steady. His gaze shifted from her trembling back to something else—a figure standing further away on the deck.
Another woman.
She stood with her arms crossed, frowning. She always complained. Always full of sharp words. Yet her eyes would drift toward him at the worst times. That woman was Suzette—the noble maid and Demonkin.
Klock didn’t dislike Adelina. She was wonderful. The best.
But still, something about Suzette made his eyes wander. He told himself it was about fairness—that he should divide his attention so no one was burdened too much.
Of course, that was only part of it. Deep down, he wanted to have them both. Not that he would say that out loud.
”…What? Is something wrong?” he asked, noticing a change in Suzette’s expression.
She wasn’t looking at him. Her gaze was locked on the ship’s mast. Something seemed carved into the wood there. A magic circle? It was too far to see clearly. Was that always there?
”…No, nothing,” she replied sharply. “Actually, could you stop talking to me while doing that? It’s annoying.”
Her voice cut like a blade.
She’d told him before not to be rough. And maybe being spoken to like this—while he was with someone else—made her feel worse.
”You’re so open about things,” Klock said, trying to offer a smile. “I think that’s a good trait.”
”…Is that so?” she said coldly. “You’re also open about your lust. It’s disgusting.”
Klock blinked at the harsh words.
He’d met many women, but jealousy this clear was still a surprise. It wasn’t bad, though. In fact, he kind of liked it.
She didn’t hide behind fake smiles or silent treatment. She just said what she felt. Most women made you guess. Compared to them, Suzette was easier to deal with—even if she was a little sharp.
Still, there were risks. She was strong-willed. If pushed too far, she might not calm down so easily. Klock watched her carefully as she tended to the fire, brushing away his presence.
He had to be careful.
”Well, don’t say that,” he said, stepping closer. “I’m sorry, so now—”
Suddenly, a wave of pleasure rushed up his spine.
Taking the moment when she looked away, he sped up his motions. He wanted to show Adelina more care, but knew he had to finish soon. Leaving Suzette alone much longer wouldn’t help.
This wasn’t the scene he had planned from the start. But since he was being looked after by both women, it was only right to treat them both properly.
Before Adelina could grow even more distant, he let the feelings rush through him. His body tensed. His breathing quickened.
”Ah… I’m close…”
He tightened his grip on her waist as he let go, his whole body trembling with release. Even after so many times, the sensation didn’t fade. The heat lingered.
”Phew…”
A breath escaped him.
It was just another time together—but with Adelina, it always ended up intense. Mornings like this left him drained.
He slowly pulled back and stepped away. His legs felt heavy.
But this wasn’t over.
Klock still had one more person waiting.
”Hey, Suzette—”
”I refuse. Die.”
Her voice was cold as ice. She lit another small fire and didn’t even glance back.
The door to the deckhouse slammed shut behind her.
”…Ah, well. Can’t be helped,” he muttered, scratching his head.
Saying “It’s your turn” after being with someone else? That might work with nobles who couldn’t say no. But someone like Suzette? No way.
Klock had never been charming. If he hadn’t gotten on the ship, he might not have had a chance at all. Suzette only showed her gentler side in private, after they’d been close. If he showed dishonesty, even by accident, she wouldn’t forgive him easily.
”Come to think of it,” he said quietly, “you seem more upset than usual today. Did I mess up again?”
”Haa… haa…”
”…Hey, are you okay, Adelina?” Klock asked gently. “You’re really… well, you look beautiful.”
He needed to watch Suzette’s mood from now on. She might be a servant, but she was also a Demonkin.
That made her dangerous.
Klock looked down at Adelina. She was lying on her back, breathing softly, her legs still spread and her body glistening with sweat.
A new stir of desire rose in him.
”…I’ll go check on Suzette for a bit. You get some rest, okay?”
He patted Adelina’s head as she slowly sat up. He wanted to pull her into his arms and stay like that—but he held himself back.
There were still many days left on this voyage. He would have time to show her how much he cared.
Just not yet.
