## Quvarian Empire
The Nineteenth Emperor
Father of Sheryl and Flavia. A mediocre ruler, enthralled by the achievements of the First Emperor, he nursed a desire to dominate the world. That yearning only opened the door to the tyranny of his ambitious retainers, culminating in an unthinkable betrayal during the war against the Kingdom Union of Zneek: the treachery of the Northern Kingdom. Deaf to unwelcome reports, he remains blind to the empire’s present misery.
Flavia
First Princess of the Quvarian Empire, born of a concubine of low birth. Raised solely for a political marriage, she was trained to embrace indifference as a virtue, leaving her ignorant and unconcerned with politics. She possesses a voluptuous figure and excels in the arts of seduction. Married to Clovis of the Kingdom of Astoria, she and her husband share a rare, genuine love. Out of loyalty, she conceals her curves from other men’s eyes, though her deepest wish—to bear a child—remains denied by her queen, wary of Quvar’s precarious state.
Sheryl
Second Princess of Quvar. Intelligent and clear-sighted, she was born of the emperor’s lawful wife. With her elder brother as dull as their father, Sheryl was hailed early as the star of reform. The Northern Kingdom’s betrayal, though officially blamed on the reformists, was truly the reckless ploy of the conservatives. During a meeting with Takumi Nash, she was violated and enslaved by binding magic. Though she carries guilt as the nominal commander in the betrayal, she longs only for the day when, with all finished, she may lay her fate in Neige’s hands as penance—though neither Neige nor Dalcur seek revenge.
The Witch of Revolving Heavens, Livia
Ranked eighth among court witches. Said to wield the grand magic “Revolving Heavens,” though no one has seen it unleashed. Known as a descendant of the Eternal Witch Cartera, her life remains clouded in mystery.
Minister of Military Affairs, Roshima
A powerful supporter of Sheryl’s reformist cause. As War Minister, he commands the ongoing conflict, though despair deepens with every passing campaign.
Rex Velacoat, Overseer of the Western Frontier
A capable subordinate promoted by Roshima. Entrusted with the Ghost Army’s advance, he met his end, assassinated by the Witch of the Dead Arm, Almaria.
Stella
Sheryl’s knight and bodyguard. On the night Takumi and his companions infiltrated the chambers, Stella too was assaulted and enslaved. Unlike Sheryl, she nurses bitter resentment for her defilement, yet, seeing no path forward alone, she chose to follow her princess.

The First Emperor
He seized Quvar, forged it into an empire, and carved out a realm that stood among the Four Great Nations. Though not cruel at first, savagery grew within him as his reign deepened. Now, he sees the living world only as something to ruin for his amusement. Yet toward Sheryl, he harbors a warped affection—proof that even monsters cling to fragments of feeling.
The Eternal Witch, Cartera
Once a courtesan of Quvar, later mistress of the First Emperor. Her abilities were said to rival any in history. A beauty with immense breasts and flowing black hair.
The Black Flame General, Grano
Commander of the First Division. His slow yet crushing advance remains the model of Quvarian tactics, overwhelming with sheer destructive force.
The Black Sword King, Berhardt
Vice-commander of the First Division. Hailed in imperial days as the greatest swordsman of his era, he forever stood at Grano’s side on the battlefield.
The Holy Corpse General, Raphastia
Commander of the Second Division, embodiment of loyalty to the emperor. His statue still towers over the central square of the capital. Yet in truth, his devotion to the First Emperor was never unshakable.
The Witch of the Dead Arm, Almaria
Vice-commander of the Second Division, once a Quvarian court witch. Born into a clan of assassins, she found favor in Raphastia’s ranks.
The Iron-Fisted General, Keirald
Commander of the Third Division, a giant armored in his own muscle. He once served the fourth emperor, earning renown in the northern campaigns. Obsessed with testing the limits of his own strength.
The Clay Witch, Rakw
Vice-commander of the Third Division, like Clarice a specialist of narrow gifts. Achieved no historic feats. Once a soldier in Keirald’s host, she was dragged back into existence alongside him.
The Magic Bullet General, For-Elda
Commander of the Fourth Division, a woman who served the seventh emperor. She invented the Magic Cannon, a weapon powered by stones, to shatter fortifications without mercy. A true “tech-maniac,” she cares only for refining her craft. She envies her subordinate, Naje, who maintains her youthful skin even in undeath.
The Adamantine Witch, Beria
Once a court witch of the Duchy of Seron. Slain in war against Lesta, she returned quickly as a ghost. Too recently dead to lose her sense of self—like Naje and her kin, she still thinks and feels as she did in life.
Notes:
• Quvarian Empire – Ruling kingdom. Harsh world, restricted freedom.
• Sheryl – Second Princess of the Quvarian Empire, a striking beauty with red hair. Initially appears as a diplomatic envoy, but she is a reformer within the empire, seeking to atone for Quvar’s past betrayals, particularly the destruction of the Northern Kingdom. Sheryl is highly intelligent and politically savvy, using her position to gather secrets and undermine the empire’s plans to destroy McGaref. She is also a slave to Takumi, bound by enslavement magic, and tasked with sowing chaos within Quvar. Despite her circumstances, she maintains a sense of duty and hopes to bring about change. First appears in v6c26.
• Takumi Nash – Councilor of the McGaref Autonomous Government commanding the Liberation Army.
• Dalcur – Mercenary leader; defects to the protagonist’s clan; physically imposing, known as ‘The Strong’.
• Cartera – Eternal Witch — The First Emperor’s mistress and a resurrected sorceress of immense power. Cruel and seductive, she takes pleasure in destruction and defilement. Her loyalty to the Emperor is absolute, and she shares his desire to end the world. First appears in v9c3.
• Stella – A royal guard and Sheryl’s companion, who was also enslaved by Takumi. She harbors hatred towards Takumi for violating her, but enslavement magic forces her obedience. Stella is a viscount’s daughter and understands the political implications of her situation. She accompanies Sheryl in lewd acts as a form of penance and to cope with their shared shame. Her defiance is internal, but she follows Sheryl’s lead in their intimate moments. First appearance in v6c29.
• Grano – The Black Flame General, a legendary figure from Quvar’s past, now resurrected as part of the First Emperor’s ghostly host. Known for his ruthless tactics and unwavering loyalty to the Emperor, Grano commands a significant portion of the undead army. He is disdainful of the living, particularly those who oppose the Emperor’s plans, and shows no mercy in battle. His presence, alongside other legendary generals like Belhart, underscores the immense threat posed by the Emperor’s forces. First mentioned in v9c7.
• Raphastia – A once-renowned general who now serves the First Emperor in the underworld army. He is referred to as a ‘Holy Corpse,’ indicating his undead state. Raphastia retains his self-awareness and will, which is unusual for the undead, and his loyalty to the Emperor remains unwavering. He is described as having a raspy voice and is one of the key figures in the Emperor’s command post. First appearance in v9c8.
• Keirald – Once a commander in the northern wars, now a spectral soldier bound by a magic stone. Massive build, armored in living muscle. His voice thunders like iron against shield. Relationship – Loyal general to the First Emperor. Reminder: -His existence is sustained by the magic stone embedded in his armor. First appearance in v9c8.
• Clarice – The ‘Witch of Abundance’ from Lesta Kingdom.
• Naje – First princess of the Lesta Kingdom and deputy commander. The tragic princess of the Lesta Kingdom who was executed for her country.
