Chapter 42 Saint Alice, Part ②
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
At the village entrance, suspicion greeted us, not hope. Men gripped rough wooden spears, eyes sharp as if warding off beasts. At their center stood a white-haired man—the village head—glaring at us. “No trouble, please. This village has no room for outsiders.” His words were cold, but the villagers’ weary faces and thin frames spoke the truth of his claim. Plague, hunger, or both? The village was cornered.
”This village has a plague, right? We’re here to heal it,” I said calmly. A sneer came back. “Heal? At what cost? Medicine? Who pays for it? You?” Resignation, exhaustion, and fear spread among the men. One less mouth to feed with each death was their sad “reality.”
”A small price,” I said. “Whatever a household can spare.” No one looked convinced. Their wariness only grew.
”No price… needed…” Alice’s voice was soft but clear. Stepping forward from my side, the young girl fixed her gaze on the village head. “Alice wants to help… anyone who needs it. I can’t abandon them.” Silence fell. Her words were no lie. Even starving, Alice would share her dried meat with a smile. Even on the verge of collapse, she’d hold someone’s hand and keep healing. That’s the kind of girl she was.
”You might not believe it,” I said to the village head. “When I met Alice, she hadn’t eaten for three days. No undergarments, just tattered cloth wrapped around her. She’d carried what little food she had to a starving village, giving away even her own share. This little girl did that.” I left out the part about the man who deceived and violated her.
”…Can we trust you?” the village head asked, his voice low, trembling. I nodded. Alice placed her small hand over his. For a moment, it glowed. His cough eased, his face gained color. The crowd went speechless. “I get it. You think free help has a catch. So, we’ll take a small price—nothing unreasonable. We can use Contract Magic [T/N: A binding magical agreement] if you want.”
”Guess… we have to trust you,” the village head said, resolute. “But let’s make a contract.” We agreed: “Heal the village’s sick. In return, Kanata chooses the payment, but it won’t burden any villager’s life.” The contract was set, binding both sides. Behind me, Alice gave a small, certain smile. Her selfless desire to save others was too pure, too… divine.
A sacred, warm light filled the room, unlike the sunlight streaming in. It bathed the walls, floor, and ceiling, wrapping around an old woman’s rough bed. Alice, eyes closed in prayer, looked like a mere girl, yet her small figure carried dignity and compassion. As light poured from her hands to the woman’s chest, the woman’s labored breathing calmed. In the quiet room, where even the clink of a water jug echoed, people held their breath.
”…My breathing… it’s easier…”
”No way… really…”
”A miracle…”
The old woman, who’d hovered near death for days, opened her eyes and gazed at Alice. Tears welled up. “Thank you… Saint…” That sparked murmurs. “A Saint…” “Since she came, people are recovering…” “Like she’s sent from heaven…” Alice smiled shyly, shaking her head. “Alice is just… doing what I can…” Her voice rang like clear bells, but the villagers’ hearts were set. This girl wasn’t ordinary—she was a healer, easing their pain. So, they began calling her “Saint,” revering her. Each time she took someone’s hand with a smile, her holy light wrapped the village a little more.
When Alice prayed in the village square and a child on death’s edge opened their eyes, the crowd cheered, tears streaming as they knelt. “A Saint…” “Truly sent by God…” Her light seemed to shine brighter with every gaze. But the looks I got? The opposite.
”…Monster.”
”Give us… our daughter back!”
”Demon! Spare my child!”
Curses flew. A sobbing mother clung to me. An elder raised his staff, men glared with fury. Still, I collected the “price.” A girl, just saved from death, wiped her tears and boarded the cart. Seven others were already inside. Healing demands payment—Alice gives her life to heal. We’d made a contract. The village’s poverty was worse than I thought. Even a handful of grain would ruin them. So, I took their daughters instead. Not to sell or exploit—just to serve in the Dungeon [T/N: A place of trials or labor]. I’d return them in three days to a week, with pay. They could keep working if they wanted, sending money home, though the pay would drop. Yet, they wailed as if offering sacrifices.
”…I’ll ensure their safety. Three meals, a bed, and payment for their service,” I said. Their eyes didn’t soften. My words were “demon’s whispers.” “Alice-sama is deceived by him! Wake up!” they cried to her. Each shout made Alice shake her head. “Please believe… the contract is fair. No one’s forced…” Her face was pale, pained, but no one trusted her words. More curses rained on me. Still, I took what was owed and did my job.
”Then answer me, people saved by Alice! Did you want to die? To leave your daughters to starve? If so, step forward. Trade your life for theirs!” Silence. No one moved.
He waited for a moment, ensuring no one emerged, then helped the last girl onto the carriage and left the village behind. If Alice was revered as a “Saint” by all, then he would rise above the people as the “Demon Lord.” Watching the villagers, he felt this resolve stir within him for reasons he couldn’t quite grasp.

”What’s your name?” he asked.
The girls before him answered softly. “I’m Mira,” said the one with long silver hair reaching her waist. “I’m Mia,” said the other, her strawberry-blonde hair cut into a bob.
”Um… what… what should we do?” Mira asked hesitantly.
Before being brought here, they had been cleansed and dressed in simple, single-layer dresses without undergarments. Even if they didn’t know the details, they could likely guess what was coming.
”Well, you two will serve me,” he said, his voice a low, commanding murmur. “Do you understand what that means?”
”Y-Yes…” Mira stammered, her voice barely a whisper, her cheeks flushing.
”Speak clearly,” he demanded, gently lifting her chin to meet his gaze.
”Um… pleasing you… in… intimate ways…” she mumbled, her eyes darting away.
”Impressive,” he said, a smirk curling his lips. “That’s right, but it’s more than that.”
Stepping behind them, he placed his hands on their shoulders, his touch firm yet deliberate, sending shivers through them.
”Kya!” Mia squeaked, startled.
”Hyan!” Mira gasped, her breath catching.
Their soft exclamations filled the air as his hands lingered, warm and possessive.
”From now on, you’ll offer yourselves fully to please me,” he declared, his voice rich with authority, his hands sliding to their waists, pulling them closer.
”Ahn…” Mira let out a soft, trembling sound.
”Nn…” Mia’s breath hitched, her eyes wide.
The air grew thick with their quiet gasps as his touch wandered, teasing but never crossing into forbidden territory.
”Ah! Not there!” they cried in unison, their voices laced with nervous excitement, though his hands only brushed lightly, leaving them flushed and breathless.
”Hmm, you’re both so responsive,” he murmured, his tone teasing as he guided them toward the bed.
”Kya!” Mira yelped, stumbling slightly.
”Hya!” Mia squealed, her heart racing.
He loomed over them, his presence overwhelming. His hands returned to their shoulders, grounding them as their breaths grew unsteady.
”Ah… no…” Mira whispered, her voice trembling.
”Nn… ha…” Mia panted, her face glowing with heat.
Their soft sounds mingled as he leaned closer, his touch gentle yet commanding, drawing shivers from them. He pressed his lips to Mira’s, a slow, consuming kiss that left her dizzy, her hands clutching at the sheets. His fingers traced her arm, sparking warmth that made her tremble.
”Nfu… nn…” Mira murmured against his lips, caught in the moment.
He turned to Mia, pulling her into a deep kiss, his hand resting lightly on her cheek. Unlike Mira’s hesitation, Mia leaned into him, her breath quickening as she surrendered to the sensation.
”Nn… chu…” Mia sighed, her voice soft and eager.
As he held Mia close, his other hand brushed Mira’s arm, keeping her tethered to the moment. Soon, Mira’s breaths grew ragged, her body tensing. “Nn… ah… I can’t…” she gasped, her voice breaking as a wave of sensation overwhelmed her. “Ha… ha…”
”Already?” he whispered into her ear, his voice low and teasing. “We’re just beginning.”
Moments later, Mia’s breath hitched, her body trembling. “Nna… no… it’s too much…” she murmured, her voice quivering as she clung to him, lost in the intensity. “Nna… I can’t… I’m…”
He guided them both, his presence steady and unrelenting, drawing out their reactions with careful touches. Their voices rose together, breathless and desperate.
”Ha… ha… no more…” Mira gasped, her eyes fluttering.
”No… I can’t… it’s too much…” Mia pleaded, her voice soft.
”Ahn… it’s… overwhelming…” Mira whispered, her body trembling.
”Please… I can’t take it…” Mia begged, her cheeks flushed.
”Ahn… I’m… I’m…” Mira’s voice faltered, lost in sensation.
”Nn… I’m… I’m…” Mia echoed, her breath ragged.
They collapsed, breathless, the air heavy with their shared intensity. The sheets were rumpled beneath them, but he didn’t pause, guiding them gently, his touch never faltering as he alternated his attention between them, drawing out every moment of connection.
* * *
”Here, come closer,” he commanded, settling into a chair, his voice calm but firm.
”…Yes…” Mira whispered, her eyes downcast.
”…Understood…” Mia replied softly, her cheeks warm.
Nodding, they knelt before him, their movements hesitant yet deliberate. Mira’s touch was shy, her fingers grazing his hand lightly, while Mia moved with quiet confidence, her eyes meeting his. He rested a hand on each of their heads, guiding them gently.
”Ngu!” Mia gasped, startled by the sudden closeness, but she soon relaxed, her breaths steadying.
Moments later, he tensed, his voice low. “I’m there… stay close,” he murmured, his hand steady on Mira’s shoulder as she leaned in, her breath quickening. She pulled back, catching her breath, and he rubbed her back gently.
”Koff… koff…” Mira exhaled, her eyes misty but calming.
Mia, eager for more, leaned closer, her expression open. He guided her gently, their connection unspoken but intense. Soon, he pulled Mia closer, positioning her with care, his hands steady on her waist. At the same time, he drew Mira near, his fingers brushing her arm, coaxing soft shivers from her.
”Hya!?” Mira gasped, surprised by the warmth of his touch.
Her breaths grew unsteady as he continued, his movements slow and deliberate. Mia, restless, shifted closer, her movements fluid and eager. He guided them both, alternating his focus, each touch drawing soft gasps.
”Ah… it’s… so intense…” Mira murmured, her voice trembling.
”Aah… I can’t… hold on…” Mia whispered, her breaths uneven.
Their reactions mingled, their bodies swaying with the rhythm of his guidance. Mia’s movements grew more fervent, her gasps filling the air.
”Ahn… if you keep that up… I’ll…” Mia gasped, her voice breaking.
He tensed, his breath catching. “Kuh… I’m there…” he murmured, pulling her closer as the moment overwhelmed them both. Mia sighed, her face glowing with warmth, and collapsed, breathless.
He turned to Mira, guiding her with the same intensity, his touch firm yet careful. The air pulsed with their shared rhythm, Mira’s soft cries echoing.
”Ahn… it’s… too much…” Mira moaned, her voice desperate.
The moment built, their connection reaching its peak. With a final, shared breath, they collapsed together, overwhelmed. He pulled them close, his arms wrapping around them, his lips brushing their foreheads in turn.
…Eight more to go, he thought, drifting into a brief doze.
Notes:
• Alice – The Saint Girl. A Loli.
• Mia – Came from the same village, chosen with Mira as part of the payment. She’s the strawberry-blonde with a bob cut—soft-spoken but clear, quick to adapt, and steadier than Mira, with a quiet willingness that grounds her.
• Mira – Appeared in the plague-stricken village where Alice healed the sick. Taken as payment to serve in the Dungeon, she has silver hair to her waist, a timid, whispery voice, and flusters easily—always more compliance than confidence.
