Volume 9 Chapter 4 A Debilitating Hedonistic Life ◆

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

Alice Lau, a Succubus of the Little Rabbit Tribe, was born from a union of Rabbit Beastkin and Succubus. Despite her youthful looks, she’s apparently much older than Klock. In the Crimson Spire, counting years seems pointless, but Alice insisted her age demands respect, so Klock should listen to her.

The house was cramped. Daughters huddled together on a packed bed, with Klock squeezed in the middle. Last night, he spent his first night here after being kidnapped. This tiny place, they told him, was now his home.

 ”Morning~♡” Alice chirped.

Her lips brushed his cheek, soft and teasing, like a rabbit nibbling gently. True to her Little Rabbit Tribe roots, her kisses were tender, almost needy. She’s kind of cute like this, Klock thought, despite the bizarre situation. Waking up to her wasn’t half bad.

 ”Huh? …What?”

He was stark naked. Probably because they’d stripped him before bed. That wasn’t the issue. As he sat up, something felt wrong. Under the covers, something clung to his body—something intimate.

He yanked the blanket off. Vines, unmistakably plant-like, coiled around him. A flower-like entity, disturbingly lifelike, had enveloped him in a way he couldn’t process.

 ”What? What?! What?!”

”Oh, sorry~,” Alice said, giggling. “Melfidis wanted a little taste.”

She pointed to a figure beside the bed—a massive flower, pale pink and green. From it emerged a woman, her bare form proudly displayed, basking in the light like a blooming petal. Her chest stood out, sharp and confident.

”Lady Kispe’s delicate ring finger, Melfidis,” Alice introduced.

A stranger. An unknown race. The vines tightened, sending a jolt through Klock’s body. Something slimy and incomprehensible clung to him, drawing him in with forceful suction. The vines, he realized, extended from this floral woman, pumping something from him into her body.

She’s feeding on me, Klock understood. Succubi, he’d been told, thrived on others’ vitality. Every resident of the Crimson Spire, no matter their form, was a Succubus—a being that consumed life force.

”Sorry~,” Alice said, snuggling closer. “It’s a bit intense for humans, huh? Melfidis is just like that. Forgive her, okay?”

Klock’s breathing grew ragged. Alice’s soft, rabbit-like body pressed against him, warm and fragrant. So soft, he thought, instinctively returning her embrace despite the chaos.

”There, there,” Alice cooed. “Wanna have some fun with me to clear your head?”

She planted a gentle kiss, sweet and caring, then straddled him. With a playful bounce, she climbed onto the bed, leaning into him and pushing him down. She lifted her apron dress, guiding him with a delicate touch. Hidden beneath her skirt, their bodies connected, and Klock let out a deep sigh as warmth enveloped him.

”You’re making such a naughty face~♡” Alice teased.

The sensation overwhelmed him, her small frame tightening around him. Her hands clasped his, fingers interlocking like lovers. She grinned, mischievous, as if daring him to keep up. Her movements were deliberate, teasing his body into a frenzy. She’s in control, Klock realized, surrendering to her rhythm.

”Morning fun is so luxurious, right?♡” Alice said.

 ”Luxurious?” Klock mumbled.

”Yup! Think about it. We should be fetching water, cooking breakfast, or doing laundry. But instead, we’re having fun, indulging ourselves. Isn’t that the best kind of luxury?”

 ”…Maybe you’re right,” he admitted.

Alice’s hips swayed, quick and precise, focused on pleasure. Succubi, Klock learned, wielded intimacy as a tool—not just for enjoyment but for survival. Alice, though, seemed to revel in it, her cheeks flushing as she let out soft, high-pitched gasps.

She clung to him, her head resting on his chest, her hips never slowing. The sound of their connection filled the room, unapologetic and raw. As her pace quickened, she buried her face in his neck, savoring every moment until she reached her peak.

 ”Alice…!” Klock gasped.

His inexperience left him defenseless. Her relentless rhythm pushed him to the edge. Gripping her, he let go, overwhelmed by instinct. Alice’s delighted squeal told him she was thrilled by his reaction, her body welcoming every moment.

Exhausted, Klock collapsed into the bedding. Alice curled atop him, still connected, nuzzling his chest. Her tongue traced lazy patterns, moving from his chest to his neck, then his lips. She kissed him softly, giggling when their eyes met, then hid her face in his shoulder.

Her affection feels different, Klock thought. Unlike other Succubi, Alice seemed to cherish the moments after—the closeness, the lingering warmth. She’d rush to the climax, but the aftermath was her true indulgence, as if pouring all her emotions into him.

 ”Hey, Klock,” she murmured.

 ”Yeah?”

 ”This… it feels good, right?”

 ”…Yeah.”

”I really like this with you,” she said, pressing her cheek to his chest, her voice soft like a lover’s.

Klock’s heart stirred. She’s a kidnapper, he reminded himself, but she’s so… cute.

”Morning~!” Alice called out, scampering down the short hallway.

 ”Morning!” came a sleepy reply.

A feathered figure stirred, wings rustling. Her sharp eyes locked onto Klock. Despite her fluffy feathers looking like clothing, she was bare, her earrings glinting and her talons gleaming dangerously. Athena, a Harpy Succubus, greeted him with a grin.

”Hey, morning!” she chirped. “Let’s hang out ’til breakfast, okay?♡”

Alice was off to prepare food, so Klock followed Athena to the dining area, where they’d wait together.

”Hey, remember what I said yesterday?” Athena whispered, leaning close. “When Alice calls herself ‘Atashi,’ she’s in Bunny mode—super playful. When she says ‘Alice,’ it’s Succubus mode. Not much difference usually, but if she gets mad in Succubus mode, watch out. She’s terrifying.”

 ”Got it,” Klock mumbled, nodding.

Athena’s whisper carried vital advice for surviving the Succubi. She shared tips about the Six Noble Ladies, the elite group running Crimson Spire. Celestina, despite her scary aura, was kind. Alice, sweet as she seemed, could be frightening when angry. Lili and Athena were safe to rely on. But Melfidis and Juju? Stay away. Don’t argue, no matter what they say.

Klock etched her words into his mind. After Alice drained him yesterday, he’d learned to obey without question. Better safe than sorry, he thought.

Since being kidnapped, this was all he knew. Rebellion wasn’t an option—not yet.

”Klock~! Sandwiches~!” Alice called, skipping over with a basket, her bunny-like charm radiating. She looked like a doting wife.

Klock wanted to thank her or compliment the food, but he was distracted. Overwhelmed, he clung to Athena, burying his face in her chest, her wings wrapping him tightly. The sensation pushed him over the edge, and he released, lost in her embrace.

”Athena!” Alice huffed. “Breakfast’s ready! You’re in the way!”

”Sorry~,” Athena giggled. “He’s still finishing up.”

Alice stood beside them, cheeks puffed out, arms crossed like a jealous girlfriend. She’s actually jealous, Klock realized, a strange warmth spreading through him. It almost feels… nice.

”Done yet?” Alice asked, tapping her foot.

 ”Still going~,” Athena teased.

 ”He’s overdoing it!” Alice complained.

As Alice circled them, Klock finished, his body trembling. Why does this feel so good? he wondered, instinctively pressing himself closer to Athena, reluctant to let go.

”If I pull away now, he’ll be miserable,” Athena said, smirking.

”No way! He’s mine!” Alice snapped, shooing her off.

Athena retreated, essence spilling from her. Klock’s gaze lingered, captivated by the sight. Too much, he thought, embarrassed yet enthralled. Before he could dwell on it, Alice straddled him, her light weight settling close. Her lips pouted, inches from his face, as she guided him beneath her skirt.

 ”Again?!” Klock blurted.

”What? You’ll do it with Athena but not me?” Alice challenged.

That’s not what I meant, he thought, biting back an excuse. He’d just been with her this morning. But he knew what she wanted to hear. To keep the peace, he had to play along, like she was his lover.

”I… wanna eat your sandwiches, Alice,” he said.

”Hmph. Fine, just once then,” she relented, a shy smile breaking through. She looked pleased, almost adorable. As a Rabbit Beastkin, she’s really charming, Klock admitted.

”Ugh!” he gasped as she moved.

”Haha! Sensitive after all that, huh?” Alice teased, tightening around him.

”Stop, it’s too much!” he pleaded.

”Gonna lose it?” she giggled. “Come on, let go~♡”

 ”Argh!”

Alice didn’t relent, her relentless rhythm pushing him to climax. Klock clung to her, face buried in her apron dress, her hidden curves soft against him. Her scent filled his senses, making his heart race despite the exhaustion. How is this so intense?

”No way!” he groaned as she teased him further.

 ”Nope! Lose it!~” she laughed.

Her persistence overwhelmed him. Klock surrendered, his body betraying him with another release. It’s too much, but… it feels amazing, he thought, defeated by her skill.

”Seriously, though,” Alice said, catching her breath. “You’ve been putting out a lot since yesterday.”

”Right?” Athena chimed in. “So much essence. Even after all that yesterday, you kept going.”

”Humans usually tap out after five or six rounds,” Alice noted. “Just shaking, nothing left.”

A thin thread of saliva stretched between their lips, snapping as they spoke. Alice’s movements drew a soft moan from her, but she quickly turned to Klock, pulling him close with a tender gaze.

”Ever been to the Abyss, Klock?” she asked.

 ”The… what?” he replied, confused.

 ”Never mind,” she said, shrugging.

His release had been intense, spilling out as she shifted. So much, Klock thought, watching it overflow. Alice grinned, amused by the sheer volume.

”That’s insane,” Athena said. “Definitely convergent evolution from the Abyss.”

”It’s affecting his dreams too,” Alice added. “The Abyss keeps influencing him. Even if we reset someone to their youth, external forces stick.”

Essence dripped beneath Alice’s lifted apron dress, a thick line pooling. She laughed, a mix of awe and mischief. She’s enjoying this, Klock realized.

”Let’s eat,” Alice said. “We’ve gotta visit Lady Kispe today.”

”Oh, right!” Athena added. “Klock, I’ll feed you~!”

After an exhausting morning, they settled for breakfast. Despite being kidnapped, Klock felt oddly at ease. This life… it’s weirdly comfortable, he thought.

The Succubi were clear: Crimson Spire was a dream. In reality, Klock was asleep, tied to his troubles in Livorno. He’d need to escape eventually, but for now, he had no plan. Where was Gina? He didn’t know.

Part of him wanted the Succubi to stay kind. If he tried to leave, Alice might turn scary, like yesterday. I don’t want that, he thought. I want to stay close to her, to be spoiled by her.

Back in reality, Livorno meant stress and problems. What if I just wait here? he wondered. Let someone else fix this. Until then… I can stay with them, like this.
