Following Princess Liliarette’s instructions, I shout my gratitude and love for the Magic Labyrinth King¹ at the top of my lungs.

”Ye… yes…” I replied.
Princess Liliarette had established a new rule midway through. The moment she clapped her hands, I had to immediately recite my thanks to the Magic Labyrinth King.
Since she would clap without any context even during normal conversation, I couldn’t let my guard down for a second. Failing to notice would certainly result in a negative evaluation, and even being slow to respond would lead to points being deducted.

Or perhaps she left them for me to use for my meal. It wasn’t long after that another maid made an appearance.
”Um…” I muttered.
The maid opened the cell without saying a word and took dishes out of a box she was carrying. She proceeded to line them up on the floor.
”Eh… a-um. The table, is…” I asked.
On the plates lined up on the floor were stir-fried vegetables.
They were all types of vegetables I had never seen before. I wondered if these, too, were cultivated in this land.
Additionally, a cloudy liquid was poured into a cup. Once the preparations were complete, the maid quickly left the area in silence.
”…………” I remained silent.
Now that no one was around and there were no eyes watching, I could put these dishes on the table and sit in the chair to eat.
Actually, I couldn’t even find a fork. Does this mean… I am supposed to grab it with my hands and eat?
Though I hesitated significantly, I placed the food on the table. If someone came, I would hear their footsteps immediately, and I could just put them back on the floor then.
Feeling a strong sense of resistance, I reached for the vegetables. It was a shame there was no meat. Honestly, I wasn’t very fond of vegetables.

Just like the vegetables, it was likely freshly squeezed fruit. It even contained a small amount of pulp.

”You’ve probably heard from Liliarette… but I have to give you a punishment. You understand why, don’t you?” the Magic Labyrinth King asked.
”……Yes,” I replied.
This was the part that had been thoroughly drilled into me by Princess Liliarette. However, I hesitated to say the specific details to the man himself, so I only replied with a ‘yes.’
But he appeared at a terrible time. Actually, I have been overwhelmed by the urge to urinate for a while now.
I had been enduring it, thinking I would finish after the maid came to collect the dishes, but the Magic Labyrinth King arrived before the maid.
Trying to endure it somehow, I stood firmly with both legs closed, applying pressure to my crotch.
”By the way… do you smell a bit?” the Magic Labyrinth King asked.
”Eh…?” I asked.
”I’m talking about you, Iris-chan. Come to think of it, you haven’t taken a bath since yesterday, right? And since you were only given the bare minimum of water, you didn’t have the luxury to wipe your body either, did you?” the Magic Labyrinth King said.
I couldn’t say it was because of whose fault… Just as the Magic Labyrinth King said, I haven’t been able to cleanse my body since yesterday.
Even when I finished using the toilet, the only thing I had to wipe my private parts with was these rags.
”It’s a bit pitiful if I don’t at least let you use the bath…” the Magic Labyrinth King said.

The moment when my urge to urinate reached its limit was approaching. Hoping he would finish his business quickly, I moved to prompt his next words.
”You’ve heard from Liliarette, right? If you can properly face your punishment during our time together, I’ll improve your living environment, Iris-chan. Today, let’s see…” the Magic Labyrinth King said.
Finish quickly. Thinking that, I fidgeted with my legs.
”…What’s wrong? You seem a bit restless,” the Magic Labyrinth King said.
”……No. It’s nothing,” I replied.
”Ooh-hoo-hoo~. You’re holding in your pee, aren’t you~? un,” the Magic Labyrinth King asked.
The fairy guessed it exactly. How troublesome…!
”Eh… is that so?” the Magic Labyrinth King asked.
”……No,” I replied.
”Holding it in isn’t good for you. If that’s the case, don’t mind me. Go ahead and finish it quickly,” the Magic Labyrinth King said.
There was no way I would do it after being told that. Why should I have to relieve myself right in front of the Magic Labyrinth King?
However, the Magic Labyrinth King, of all things, opened the cell lock and even came inside.
”Oh, right. About the toilet… make sure to do it in that groove there. You know, for hygiene reasons and all that,” the Magic Labyrinth King said.
”Um… I’m really fi-eeeeeek!?” I cried out.
In the middle of the conversation, the Magic Labyrinth King closed the distance to me. And then, he suddenly stroked my exposed lower abdomen.
Since I had long since reached my limit, I ended up letting out a strange voice as I recoiled. If he had pushed just a little harder, I would have leaked. I was certain of that.
”……!” I gasped.
”You look like you’re in quite a bit of pain. Is it that you can’t use the toilet in front of me without a reason?” the Magic Labyrinth King asked.
I had a bad feeling. And that feeling turned out to be exactly right.
”Well then, let’s make that tonight’s punishment. Iris, relieve yourself in that groove there,” the Magic Labyrinth King said.

Her consideration of using the King’s ‘favor’ as a weapon shows a calculated, albeit desperate, shift in her mindset. However, the King’s intuitive grasp of her physical vulnerability shows that he remains steps ahead in the psychological game, using her basic bodily functions to re-establish her status as a mere object.

The author uses the contrast between the high-quality food and the low-status service (eating off the floor) to emphasize Iris’s degradation. The addition of a diuretic is a common trope in this genre to accelerate the ‘breaking’ process by creating an urgent, uncontrollable situation.
