”Husband, who might this be?”
Miyajima Sosuke kept his face a rigid mask. “You’ve come at a good time. Regarding Sakura’s situation-you should hear this as well.” Having said his piece, his expression softened slightly as he turned a warmer gaze toward Aki. “Uesugi-kun, this is my wife, Miyajima Tsubaki.”
Aki nodded, choosing not to comment on Sosuke’s obvious posturing.
”Madam Miyajima, I’m Uesugi Aki. I’m a junior at Miyajima-senpai’s school. I came by to ask about her sudden transfer.”
Since Sosuke wasn’t interested in making proper introductions, Aki took it upon himself to communicate with this gorgeous, curvaceous housewife. Tsubaki shifted her weight toward Aki, her voice a gentle purr. “My daughter is quite unrefined; thank you for looking after her at school.”

Tsubaki seemed unfazed by her husband’s dismissive tone, though she looked a bit disappointed that she couldn’t keep chatting with her daughter’s handsome, well-built classmate. She reluctantly tore her eyes away from the sight of Aki’s sexy collarbone. “Of course, Husband.”
Aki subtly adjusted his collar. If he remembered correctly, this woman was supposed to be under a hypnosis spell that left her in a state of perpetual insatiability. From the way she was acting, she seemed just as eager to get her hands on him as the receptionist in the front hall. The lies he’d told Reina and the others were starting to feel like they were becoming reality.

Even though Sakuramachi Touko didn’t have wings or a tail, Aki felt like he might eventually be able to manifest a full Stray Devil form. Logically, having the bloodline should allow for a transformation-if lower-class Stray Devils could do it, his Intermediate Demon Bloodline certainly should.
Yet, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t feel any sensation of wings or a tail growing. He’d been hoping to fly, but for now, he was still stuck running around on his own two legs. Still, his combat power had definitely increased, so he didn’t dwell on the why too much. His method of obtaining the bloodline was weird anyway, so a few bugs were to be expected.
”…And that’s the gist of it,” Tsubaki concluded.
As it turned out, the transfer actually had a little something to do with Aki. Sosuke had arranged the whole thing because a close friend of his was the faculty advisor for the Kendo Club at a new school.
This friend had begged Sosuke to let Sakura transfer so she could lead their club-essentially using her to boost their reputation and snag a few championships. In exchange, the school offered massive perks: full tuition waivers and guaranteed university recommendations.
Kuoh Academy was great, but the new school’s offer was too good to pass up, especially since it secured her future. Sosuke was already leaning toward saying yes, but when he noticed Sakura constantly talking about a handsome junior, he’d finally snapped. He made the deal immediately and packed her off to the new school.
It was so sudden that Sakura hadn’t even wanted to go. But since Sosuke’s word was law in that house, she didn’t even get to say goodbye to her friends.
”Tsubaki! Don’t talk nonsense! I didn’t send her away just because she liked Uesugi!” Sosuke barked a reprimand, then forced a stiff, awkward smile at Aki. “Uesugi-kun, it’s no wonder Sakura mentioned you. Like me, she admires the strong. She must have been captivated by your… athletic prowess.”
Aki really wanted to tell him that his gut was right-Sakura was eighty percent thirsty for him-but he didn’t want to embarrass the old man. Seeing Aki’s silence, Sosuke’s smile grew even more strained. “That girl… she kept going on about how handsome you were and how much the girls liked you, but she never mentioned you were this strong. If I’d known, I would’ve had her invite you over for a visit long ago.”
Aki gave him a skeptical look. (This old guy is definitely full of it.) If he didn’t still need the address of the new school, he wouldn’t bother chatting with this old man for another second. He’d rather spend the time talking about life and goals with Tsubaki, who was currently staring at him while rhythmically pressing her shapely thighs together.
”Master Miyajima, I’ll be sure to visit again when I can,” Aki said, getting straight to the point. “I just want to know which school Senpai is at now.”
Tsubaki’s eyes narrowed as she gave him a regretful smile. (So he’s a devoted one.) She’d have to think twice about making a move-it might feel a bit unfair to her own daughter. Aki had no idea what she was thinking, but if he did, he would’ve leaned in and whispered: “Madam, I want both you and your daughter.”
Sosuke hesitated, looking like he wanted to say something but couldn’t find the words.
”How about it? Is Master Miyajima unwilling to tell me?”
Sosuke was indeed unwilling, but he couldn’t say that to the man who had just trashed him. In his world, as the loser, he had no leverage. In the Edo period, the loser would’ve lost his life, his property, and his family. “Don’t be ridiculous, Uesugi-kun. I was just… considering how to phrase it.”
Aki internally rolled his eyes at the clumsy lie.
”The school she’s at now is the Private Aiho Academy. The address is Beika Town, 3rd Block…”
Aki stopped listening to the specifics of the address. The moment he heard the name of the school, it clicked. The place Sakura had transferred to was the very same school the Takamine sisters attended.
