Vital-Master v2c31

Volume 2 Chapter 31

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

”Things are going great. We’re already on the 11th floor!”

 ”I suppose so,” Kanade said.

”I wouldn’t go so far as to say we’re unscathed—and my team is definitely feeling the exhaustion—but we haven’t run into any of the major disasters we were braced for,” he added.

”Damn right! I didn’t think we’d make it to the middle layers this fast either! At this rate, we might just breeze through a complete conquest of this Phase Five Dungeon¹!” Sakurako exclaimed.

”Haha, that would be nice, wouldn’t it?” Kanade replied.

Sakurako and the leader of ‘Resonant Melody,’ Hirosawa Kanade, swapped lighthearted remarks, but Sakurako’s internal state was a different story entirely.

(…These guys are way too strong. Seriously.)

There was no doubt that this was the first time Kanade and the others had ever set foot inside a Phase Five Dungeon.

A Phase Five Dungeon was the ultimate difficulty—the most lethal environment an explorer could face.

Because of that, the Dungeon Explorer Guild strictly controlled every single person coming in or going out.

(And yet… from the very second they stepped into Phase Five, they had the strength to handle it. It doesn’t make sense…)

Normally, a Dungeon Explorer adapted to Phase Five by surviving constant life-and-death struggles within it, slowly forging the power necessary to endure.

Sakurako was no different; only after surviving countless brushes with death did she finally gain the strength to explore Phase Five solo.

But the members of ‘Resonant Melody’ were an anomaly. From the moment they entered, they already possessed power equivalent to the Phase Five rank.

Even with Sakurako culling the most difficult monsters and cherry-picking the easiest ones for them to handle, Phase Five monsters shouldn’t have been this easy to take down.

Sakurako’s original plan was to grind through the 1st floor of the Phase Five Dungeon over and over, slowly tempering the members of ‘Resonant Melody’ until they were ready.

But that necessity had vanished. On their very first attempt, Sakurako and ‘Resonant Melody’ had already reached the 11th floor—the middle layers.

They still had plenty of stamina and supplies left. Honestly, it wouldn’t even be surprising if they cleared the whole dungeon right now.

(Kanade’s individual Combat Ability² is a little lower, but the other four… their strength is on a totally different level from other explorers. If they keep growing at this rate, they’ll catch up to my level in a heartbeat. It’s like they’re an entire Phase stronger than they should be.)

They already had Phase Five power while clearing Phase Four. By the time they finished Phase Five, they’d likely have the strength of whatever level came next—if such a thing even existed.

’Resonant Melody’ was achieving a kind of growth that was, in a sense, the ideal for a dungeon explorer.

(…And Kanade is at the center of it. I haven’t asked yet, but it’s gotta be that Unique Job³. Some kind of special skill is behind their strength.)

An insane support skill that granted Phase Five power to Phase Four explorers.

Even for Sakurako, who held the [Solitary Samurai] Unique Job—a class with ridiculously high solo combat ability—this was an outrageous power.

There was a chance that it could even compensate for Sakurako’s own massive drawback: the fact that her combat ability plummeted the moment she wasn’t alone.

(The skill Rin talked about… the one that would ‘change my life’ if I experienced it just once… I guess that’s what she meant after all…?)

The way the team members looked at Kanade went beyond simple affection; there was something much heavier simmering in their eyes.

The physical contact between the four of them was intense even during their downtime. To Sakurako, who had always operated strictly solo, watching their blatant intimacy was enough to make her turn away in embarrassment.

(And besides… during tonight’s camp, that is going to start up again, isn’t it…?)

Sakurako had already spent several nights camping in the dungeon with Kanade’s group.

Of course, she and Kanade’s team slept in separate tents, but… the absurdly sharp sensing abilities of Sakurako’s [Solitary Samurai] job allowed her to perceive exactly what was happening inside Kanade’s tent with vivid clarity.

Just remembering those moments caused a warm, pulsing ache to throb♡ deep inside Sakurako’s core.

Himezaki Sakurako. A dungeon explorer bound by the curse of the [Solitary Samurai], able to hunt efficiently only when alone. Perhaps because of that isolation, despite being a stunning beauty, she had never had a decent romantic encounter. Even at her age, she remained the ‘Lone Virgin.’

Because of that, her ‘solo-play’ fantasies were incredibly vivid and detailed. Yet, even to her experienced imagination, the acts occurring inside the ‘Resonant Melody’ tent were breathtakingly intense.

As Sakurako walked, lost in these thoughts, Hirosawa Kanade called out to her.

”Is something wrong, Sakurako-san? Your face is all red… are you okay? Ah… don’t tell me you caught a cold?”

”N-no! It’s nothing like that!” Sakurako said.

”O-oh, look, I can see the stairs to the next level! Let’s set up camp right here at the entrance to the 12th floor!” she added quickly.

 ”Got it, Sakurako-san,” Kanade said.

”Well then, we’ll get the gear ready,” he finished.

As Sakurako watched the members of ‘Resonant Melody’ begin setting up their tents, she couldn’t stop the erotic delusions from racing through her mind… wondering exactly what kind of things were going to happen inside that tent tonight.

• Kanade – Young leader of the A-Rank team Resonant Melody and primary narrator, he wears a black anaconda suit and wields the Lizard Fang Sword, a pressure-point gun, and a Black Ball storage item. Possessing the rare Unique Job “Vital Point Master,” he manipulates pressure points to heal, buff, debuff, and trigger Instant Death, reading opponents’ intent with uncanny precision—yet remains composed despite inner fear. The only team member without a Phase Five ability, he secretly fuels his powers through intimate bonds with his crew, especially Maria, his savior, romantic partner, and emotional anchor, whose presence activates his skills. His polite, professional demeanor masks a strategic core that elevates his teammates far beyond their Phase levels, making him the indispensable heart of Resonant Melody.

• Sakurako – Sharp‑eyed, stunning explorer in a loosely draped, sexily disheveled kimono that shows her physique, long blade at her waist. Japan’s top S‑Rank adventurer, clears Phase‑Five dungeons solo, Unique Job Solitary Samurai, mentor to Kanade’s party, close friend of Ichigaya Rin. Radiates overwhelming presence yet flashes a friendly, beaming smile when impressed.

• Hirosawa Kanade – Hirosawa Kanade, a quiet, cute male student at National Third Dungeon Academy and leader of the A-Rank team “Resonant Melody,” is dubbed a “Harem Master” for his intimate relationships with all four female team members, including Rin-sensei. As a Vital Point Practitioner, he uses pressure-point skills to buff allies—a technique that inadvertently induces lactation, which he subtly exploits. His gentle demeanor and tactical brilliance make him the team’s emotional and strategic center, beloved yet enigmatic.

She has inverted nipples and prominent areolas, a seductive yet maternal aura, and sharp Appraisal skill. As mentor of team ‘The Melody Played (by Kanade)’, she first uncovered Kanade’s hidden powers, flustering him with confident allure.

• Himezaki – Sakurako Himezaki, silver‑haired S‑Rank explorer of the Himezaki lineage, is Japan’s top solo dungeon conqueror. As a leading Guild member, her reputation defines her identity; allies and rivals alike regard her as the benchmark of Japanese dungeon exploration.
