Deep in the furthest room of the cave Minami had infiltrated, most of the area was blocked off by thick iron bars. In front of them, a man sat on a chair, his gaze fixed intently on the cell.
Minami peered past him, through the bars.
(One, two… seven, huh. One short—and of all people, it has to be Aina-cchi who’s missing.)
The seven women huddled together as if to protect one another, but Aina, whom Minami had grown close to, was nowhere among them. It was, of course, a disappointing development for Minami, but… the situation for the remaining seven seemed better than she had initially feared. They were clearly drained, trapped in a desperate, captive state, but there were no signs of sexual assault, nor did any of them appear mentally shattered or too frail to move.
(In that case, I guess it’s Plan B…)
If the captives had been subjected to constant abuse, Minami had a plan to rescue them solo. But, obviously, that carried a high risk of pushing her into a corner. Even for a Phase Six-level operative like Minami, escaping a dungeon filled with high-level thug-explorers while shielding seven exhausted women was a near-impossible mission.
But at a glance, the women in the cell showed no signs of having been mistreated by the men here. Under these conditions, it seemed wiser to wait for the raid led by the Guild Master.
(If I can, I’d like to communicate with them while this guy’s away… then, if Aina-cchi doesn’t turn up, at least I can try to find out where she was taken.)
With that thought, Minami waited for the guard to leave his post. The opportunity came sooner than she expected.
”Man, gotta take a leak,” the guard muttered.
”Hey! You’re not actually doing it here, are you?!” one of the women cried out.
”Don’t worry, I ain’t got the hobby of making you watch me piss!” the guard sneered, his voice oily. “Though I do enjoy watching you lot go at it every time! Heh-heh-heh!”
Inside the cell sat a ceramic basin—a makeshift urinal. The women were likely forced to relieve themselves right in front of the guard. The icy, absolute-zero glares they directed at him were sharp enough to draw blood.
”Whoa, scary, scary. Look, it ain’t my thing, but some of the other shifts actually get off on dousing you dames. You should be grateful you got me assigned here.”
With a mocking laugh, the man headed toward a separate room used as a latrine. Once he was sufficiently clear, Minami darted to the bars and whispered, “Stay calm, everyone… I’m here to help.”
”W-who’s there!? …Are you from ‘New Tokyo’?” the woman who had been speaking to the guard whispered back, lowering her voice immediately.
”Yeah, I’m from ‘New Tokyo,’” Minami replied. “You can’t see me right now, but I’m Matsuyama Minami, from ‘Resonant Melody’.”
At the mention of the name, the women’s faces brightened. To the residents of ‘New Tokyo,’ the name of a transcendent-level exploration unit like ‘Resonant Melody’ meant everything.
”If ‘Resonant Melody’ is here, we’re saved!” one woman whispered urgently. “So, can we get out of here right now?”
”That’s the tricky part,” Minami said. “I have a [Wraith Potion]1, so I could probably get you out, but if we get spotted, I can’t guarantee I can protect everyone on my own.”
”I see… I suppose that makes sense,” another woman replied softly. “No matter how strong you are, Minami-chan, it’s a tall order with us in tow…”
Seeing that they understood, Minami laid out her alternative strategy. “If you were being abused by these guys, I would’ve pushed my luck to get you out now. But since you aren’t, I think it’s safer if I wait for the rescue squad to breach the dungeon. I’ll make sure you all get out safely then.”
”You’re right,” the first woman agreed. “If help is coming, that’s the better call. Like you said, we’re just being held here for now. I’m fine waiting a little longer. What do you all think?”
The others agreed, expressing that they could endure the cell for a bit longer. They had been abducted and locked away by crude, dangerous men; while they were surely terrified and desperate for release, these women were remarkably resilient.
”The guard will be back soon, so tell me one last thing,” Minami whispered. “Do you know what happened to Aina-cchi? The cute girl with the pigtails and glasses?”
”Ah… she was the first one that man dragged off,” the woman replied sadly. “He said the Boss wanted to see her, and that was that. She was such a sweet girl, always cheering us up… I just hope she isn’t suffering over there.”
”Got it,” Minami said. “He’s coming back, so I have to go quiet. I’m staying here with you guys… if there’s any immediate danger, I’ll act. So don’t worry!”
”Right. We understand,” the woman nodded. “You’re a beacon of hope, Minami-chan.”
As the conversation ended, the guard returned.
”Ugh, that felt good!” he shouted. “I’d love to fill your pussies with some fresh, warm piss later. What’s with that look? Don’t give me that attitude!”
The women, and an invisible Minami, leveled cold, silent glares at the man and his crude remarks.

Summary:
Minami infiltrates a dungeon cell area and observes seven captive women held by a crude guard. She decides against an immediate, risky rescue in favor of waiting for a larger support team. After communicating with the captives and confirming they are not being currently abused, she learns that Aina was taken by the Boss, and she resolves to wait for the raid while remaining on standby.

• Guild Master – Mayor of New Tokyo and leader of the Explorer Guild, this authoritative, strategic, artificially created woman of androgynous beauty features curled red hair, a muscular build, sharp eyes, and a wild smile. A formidable S-Rank warrior who fled a deity-destroyed world to fight Phase Five Monsters, she manages the Dungeon City, protects locals, and co-strategizes with her ally Kanade.
• Master – An artificially created, androgynous-beautied woman and former S-Class Dungeon Explorer who now holds the title of guild leader and Master of a hyper-advanced dungeon. Originating from a world destroyed by a deity, she administers the dungeon for locals, oversees strategic planning for the city’s future, and manages the utilization of unique dungeon materials.
• Guild – A male Guild Master who leads the administration of the dungeon city New Tokyo. He is serious and focused on the survival and relocation of the populace.
• Matsuyama Minami – Minami, known as the ‘Loli Princess’ or ‘Young Princess,’ is a petite, doll-faced Light Warrior with a childlike visage and adult allure, her flat physique contrasting her commanding presence. As one of the Four Heavenly Kings and a elite dual-wielder, she serves as a Dungeon Explorer despite an extreme phobia of pain, driven by unwavering determination. Her idol-like charm makes her the beloved heart of the group, blending innocent cuteness with quiet, formidable strength.
• Matsuyama – Minami Matsuyama is a young girl with blue twin-tails from a high-status family within the academy. As a high-level Light Warrior associated with the ‘Resonant Melody’ party, she leverages her prestigious lineage and powerful abilities to maintain strong connections with her allies.
