Basara Toujou rolled his eyes and fired back with a firm tone. “Look, did you seriously forget that I already have demon blood in me? That is just how we do things here.”
”Come on, that is only a quarter,” Aki countered playfully.
”Yeah, yeah, you are right,” Basara said. “I mean, calling you Master sounds incredibly annoying, but I guess it is not totally out of the question.” He deliberately let a smirk slip onto his face. “Look, let me think about it for a few days. Just make sure you save a spot for me, all right?”
Aki froze for a split second. He had only been talking trash. He had not actually expected Basara Toujou to agree. Adding another dude to his Peerage felt totally weird no matter how he looked at it. But just as he was scrambling to find a good excuse to back out, he noticed the slight curl at the corner of Basara’s lips.
Aki’s face went completely dark. He never expected the day would come where he would get reverse-pranked.
Seeing the look on Aki’s face, Basara Toujou knew the trick was up. He dropped the act entirely, clutching his stomach as he burst into roaring laughter. “That is just how we do things here!”
He was not stupid. The two of them were close enough that he knew exactly how touchy Aki was when it came to his women. Just as Aki knew Basara would never actually agree to become part of his Peerage and was only teasing him, Basara had simply decided to beat him at his own game and turn the tables.
When Aki returned home, he still could not stop thinking about the way Basara Toujou had laughed at him. He could not help but feel like he had gone way too easy on the guy during their sparring session.
”Master,” Zest said softly.
Zest, the rabbit-eared girl dressed in a sharp maid’s uniform, stepped forward and placed a cup of black tea alongside a plate of pastries in front of him with extreme politeness. The moment her beautiful eyes met Aki’s, a faint blush crept onto her cheeks.
Aki picked up the tea and took a slow sip. His gaze drifted over her curvy figure, which even the oversized maid’s uniform could not fully hide, and a sudden spark ignited in his chest.
”Zest, come to my room tonight,” Aki said smoothly.
After a brief moment of fluster, the busty rabbit-girl flushed red with a look of pure shyness. She lowered her head and whispered with ritualized respect, “At once, sir. Your wish is my command.”
Aki paused mid-motion. He had phrased that poorly, and Zest had clearly read it the wrong way. Now that he had reached a point where his raw strength could no longer be pushed up through normal ways, he was not in any big rush to take the girls’ virginity. A maiden’s pure primal yin2 gave a massive boost to one’s Cultivation, but it was a one-time benefit that could not be saved. Although regular Dual Cultivation gave a similar long-term effect, Aki still felt it would be a bit of a waste to rush it now.
The truth was, his recent tests with telekinetic magic had opened up a few new insights, and he simply wanted the rabbit-girl to help him try them out.
Telekinetic magic was deeply tied to mental energy. To get devastating offensive power, one had to unleash a huge burst of willpower paired with a very specific showing of Mana. Because it demanded such an extreme output of mental focus, an ordinary caster using telekinetic magic for offense would not have any leftover focus to control their own physical body, and their eyes would glow with an incredibly obvious light of Mana.
However, if one’s mental capacity was vast enough, it was entirely possible to speak, move, and even use other combat styles while at the same time handling telekinesis.
With Aki’s staggering level of mental energy, once he reached true mastery, using an output at an S-rank level would barely hinder his physical control at all. It was essentially the same as having an invisible, S-rank teammate fighting alongside him in battle.
But a single S-rank teammate was practically useless in a high-level clash against a Super-Devil.
That was when a wild idea hit Aki. If telekinetic magic was not suited to be a main offensive weapon, what if he used it only for utility and support?
For instance, he could use it to suddenly trip an enemy up in the middle of combat, or subject them to constant, invisible harassment. Telekinesis at that level would not slow down Aki’s own movements in the slightest. It was completely hidden, and it would cause massive mental pressure on his target.
After all, fear always comes from the unknown.
Once his mind shifted toward using telekinetic magic as a supporting tool, a whole new world of possibilities opened up. Compared to its use in the middle of a life-or-death battle, telekinesis seemed way more powerful when added as a boost to combat in bed.
Telekinesis could change and shift itself entirely at his whim. Aside from being completely invisible and weightless, the feelings it could give the girls were the same as the touch of Aki’s own hands, save for the lack of body heat.

He had already tested the simplest form: tentacles. Without affecting his main body’s actions, he could currently show and control two of them at the same time. It was likely due to his habit of using invisible hands in combat, but once he grew more used to it, adding another one or two should not be an issue.
Furthermore, telekinetic magic fed touch feelings back to Aki that perfectly copied actual skin-to-skin contact. Because of this, if a shape was destroyed, it would not just hurt his mind. It would actually cause physical pain. While that was a small flaw in a real battle, when it came to Dual Cultivation, this ghost sense of touch was an unbelievable plus.
