”…Getting such a wonderful mansion at just 9 years old… I think Hiroya is truly a role model and goal for young adventurers. Thanks to you and other experienced adventurers, the ‘Goblin Forest’ is starting to calm down again. I hope you guys keep pushing forward until you conquer the dungeon. With that in mind, I’d like to say a few words.”
We’re not great at giving speeches, so the guild master spoke for us. But I didn’t get this mansion all by myself.
My parents (Koichi is on a quest), Kazumi’s parents, and Rena’s parents were chatting when my mom suddenly said,
”Why don’t we announce Hiroya and Kazumi’s engagement here!”
I was really shocked by that. It’s way too early for that.
Aluda and the 2 dwarf sisters, along with Miyori, were enjoying the big bath, barely touching their food.
Also, I finally got to meet Ares’ wife. She looked like a quiet beauty, but she definitely had a strong grip on Ares. …He’s probably being bossed around.
After Martina took Ares’ wife, Ms. Ren, and Roana to show them the big bath, Ares quietly said,
”Man, I really messed up… If Liz was the kind of woman who accepted ‘polygamy,’ I should have made a move…”
”Huh? What are you talking about? I only accept it because it’s ‘Hiroya!’ There’s no way I’d accept that from you! Besides, you don’t have what it takes for that anyway.”
”…That’s kind of harsh, Liz.”
Well, Ares is being dumb for saying that now.
”But hey, since Liz is already mine, if you even touch her, even if it’s Ares… I’ll cut you down, you know?”
I directed my strongest sword energy at Ares.
”J-Just kidding! So… when Ren comes back from the bath… maybe we should take our leave.”
Saying that, he quickly moved away from us.
If he didn’t say that extra line, Ares would be a good guy. Well, now that he’s married, I hope he settles down.
”Hiroya♡ I can’t get enough of that possessiveness♡.”
Liz took my arm and nuzzled against me.
Dorothy and Rena were joining in on the conversation with me, Kazumi, and our parents, laughing together.
Kazumi was talking about something with Ms. Sasha on the sofa.
While Liz and I were being all lovey-dovey, the guild master came over.
”Perfect timing. …Is there somewhere quiet we can talk?”

”Clan?”
I heard a familiar word from the guild master in the open space on the second floor.
”Yeah. I heard you guys helped some young adventurers during this ‘guard mission.’ I want you to look after Noriss and Lotta, who Garm is taking care of, and also Karin and Gisela. I need you to help them out.”
”And you want us to start a clan?”
Liz leaned back on the sofa, crossing her arms.
”Sorry, but what’s a clan?”
I raised my hand to ask.
”A clan is basically a group of adventurers. A party is a group of adventurers that takes on quests, but a clan is a bigger group of adventurers. When a quest comes in, we form a party from the adventurers chosen from the clan to go on the quest. That’s what a clan is.”
The guild master explained.
”Your party with Liz and Hiroya is made up of rank B members. I want you high-ranking members to look after the younger ones.”
”That’s true… our party is already full, so we can’t add anyone new…”
Liz looked serious.
”So, I want you high-ranking members to team up with the younger ones for quests. Of course, conquering the dungeon should be your top priority. But training the younger adventurers is also an important job for this village.”
The guild master pleaded with us.
”Well… I’ll think about it for now. I need to discuss it with everyone.”
Liz stood up from the sofa.
”Well, try to think positively. It’s not just about Hiroya’s strength as a swordsman, but I really believe in Liz’s leadership. I think you can bring the clan together.”
”…You’re overestimating me.”
Liz laughed as she walked down the stairs.
”…What do you think?”
The Guild Master asked me after Liz left.
”I definitely think Liz’s leadership is great. But if we start this ‘clan’ and recruit members… I’m worried about getting some useless people joining. Just look at our current members, right? Any guy would want to join.”
The Guild Master looked surprised for a moment, then burst out laughing.
”Hahaha! That’s true! Sorry, I just couldn’t help it. If I were still active, I would definitely want to join.”
After laughing for a while, the Guild Master said.
”You can let in whoever you think is good for the team. There’s no need to do a big recruitment. Well, think about it too.”
With that, the Guild Master went down to the first floor.

After the party ended, everyone went home, leaving the dwarf sisters, Roana, Isaac, and Miyori, who were staying the night. Liz started talking to everyone about the ‘clan.’
”So, we’re currently taking on missions to guide beginner adventurers.”
Isaac spoke up at Liz’s words.
”Roana, Marty, and I are working with 3 beginner adventurers on some requests too.”
”Exactly. Guido and Ares are also taking on requests while mentoring younger adventurers.”
Roana added to Isaac’s words.
”I see. So the guild wants us to train them efficiently, right?”
Liz looked at Miyori.
”Seems like it. The other day, Gisela and Karin almost got attacked by adventurers on an underground quest. I have a feeling that crimes targeting beginner adventurers, especially girls, are going to increase.”
”But we already have too many members to take care of them.”
Miyori explained, looking at the dwarf sisters with a side-eye.

”Yeah, it does feel like AluAlu and the others just kind of joined us without much thought.”
Martina also gave the sisters a side-eye.
”As long as Ms. Aluda and the others don’t neglect their main job as blacksmiths, I think it will be fine.”
Dorothy chuckled.
”When you think about ‘training,’ starting a clan doesn’t sound bad. Rena believe Liz has the ability to lead the clan.”
”Actually, Liz was the one who taught us the basics of being adventurers.”
”Forget about me. I just have a bad feeling about strange people joining our current members…”
Liz scratched her head.
”No, the Guild Master said we only need to let in people we approve of. If we find someone we really want to take care of while adventuring, that should be enough, right?”
”Exactly! Like Garm’s friends, Noriss and Lotta, who want to ‘level up quickly and move their family to Razia Village’.”
”Ms. Gisela and Ms. Karin are also a bit concerning as a party of 2 girls.”
Martina and Dorothy clapped their hands.
”They’re the adventurers we helped during the escort mission. I want to meet them too.”
Kazumi and Rena hadn’t met them yet.

While we were talking like that, Ms. Hanna and the Snow Wolves brought us tea.
”We’ve finished cleaning up, so I’m going to take a bath now.”
”Oh, thank you, Ms. Hanna! You worked hard today.”
”No, it was really easy because Suu and the others worked so efficiently.”

”Thanks, everyone. Take your time in the bath.”
”What about Sir Hiroya?”
”I want to bathe with you!”
”I’ll wash your back!”
”No, three of you, I already took a bath…”

The 3 of them clearly looked disappointed as they headed to the bath with Ms. Hanna.
”Those 3 are Snow Wolves, huh?”
Isaac asked, curious.
”Yeah. They were entrusted to a pack leader.”
”Is that the reason? The lord said that hunting the Snow Wolves in the ‘Goblin Forest’ is banned.”
”They said we can’t hunt them unless they’re a threat to the village.”
According to Isaac and Roana, the Snow Wolf pack in the Goblin Forest has stopped attacking. They were tough to fight, so that’s a relief.
”When you see them in their human form… it’s hard not to want to hunt them, right?”
”Yeah, those girls are cute! ♡.”
Roana and Miyori nod at each other.
”Well, I guess it’s time to sleep.”
I stand up from the sofa and head to the dining room door.
”Isaac and Roana can use the round room on the third floor. It’s big there.”
”I’ll show you the way!”
Martina takes the two of them to the stairs.
”You can make as much noise as you want! ♡.”
Liz grins as she waves goodbye to them.
”Idiot!”
Roana retorts, but Isaac’s face is bright red.
Roana sticks out her tongue and pulls Isaac’s hand, following Martina.
”…Are they going to do it?”
”…They probably will.”
”…They’re definitely going to do it.”
Kazumi, Dorothy, and Rena smirk, while Aluda, Eluda, and Meluda watch Roana and the others with red faces.
”…They have someone to do it with… lucky them…”
Miyori mutters quietly.
It felt like girl talk was about to start, so I decided to retreat to my own room.
