Chapter 137 Home (Part 2️⃣)

Kazumi leads the way as we all head up to the second floor.
When we get up there, we find a living room that’s a bit bigger than the entrance on the first floor. It has a sofa, a table, a mirror, and a fireplace. It feels more like an open space than a regular room.
”This is where we hang out before bed.”
Kazumi explains that they made relaxing spaces on each floor for everyone to enjoy.
In front of this open space, there are double doors and a hallway that goes to the left of the house.
”First, here’s the hallway. This is where everyone’s private rooms are.”
Kazumi walks ahead, and we all follow.
The hallway stretches to the left end of the house, and it seems to continue on both sides. There are 3 doors on each side of the hallway.
”These are everyone’s private rooms. On the left side, from the front, we have Hiroya, me, and Rena. On the right side, from the front, we have Liz, Dorothy, and Martina’s rooms.”
”My room and Dorothy and Martina’s room have balconies! Isn’t that cool?”
Liz puffs out her chest proudly.
”Wait! What about my room, Kazumi, and Rena’s room?”
”Sorry, we only have windows… but there’s a reason for that…”
Kazumi explains apologetically.
If my room had a balcony, there might be some creepy guys sneaking around at night. They don’t want any funny business.
”That’s the reason. Right, Liz?”
”…Do you really not trust me that much…?”
”””Of course not!”””
Kazumi, Rena, Martina, and Dorothy all say this together.
”Ugh…”
Liz’s face turns bright red, and she looks down. Well, it can’t be helped.
”We’ll make sure to set a proper order!”
Kazumi points firmly at Liz.
”I can’t go against the First Lady, huh…”
Liz replies, looking defeated. I guess we’ll have to let Kazumi handle that part.
”Still… it depends on Hiroya’s mood at the time… but if it’s really important, there can be exceptions, right?”
”Well, I made everyone my girls because of my selfishness, so I’ll take responsibility for that… I’ll do my best to make sure everyone is happy.”
When I say this, everyone starts blushing and fidgeting.
”Rena has already made up her mind… So, anytime… okay?”
Rena whispers softly while looking up at me.
”Y-yeah. But the mood is important, you know?”
Even though we’re childhood friends, I’m still going to be with a ‘goddess.’ I need to be ready for that.
”I’ll be waiting…”
The super beautiful girl looks down with a bright red face. Damn! She’s so cute!
”Please gentle with her, okay?”
Kazumi whispers softly in my ear.
At the end of the hallway, we walk a little to the left and find a cylindrical part of the house. It has a toilet and a washroom.
”I get the washroom, but you guys managed to put a toilet on the second floor, huh?”
”Rena made a magic tool that creates ‘Water’ and ‘Clean.’ With that, we can collect the drainage from different places and send it to the sewage system.”
The sewage system is set up underground in each home, where harmless slimes break down waste.
”…This is more advanced than the sewage systems back in our world. Using slimes for breakdown is a clever idea.”
It’s amazing that each home can handle its own waste.
We head back down the hallway, and the cylindrical part at the back left is a greenhouse, just like the one on the first floor.
”I’m so happy there’s so much greenery inside the house…”
Dorothy looks really pleased.
”You can also go out to the balcony from here.”
When Kazumi opens the door on the right side of the room, it leads to a big balcony.
”You can get to my room from here!”
Martina points to the glass door at the front of the balcony.
”That door leads to my room. And beyond that is Ms. Liz’s room.”
Dorothy walks along the balcony. Along the way, there’s a particularly large glass door.
”Th-that one we’ll check out later.”
Kazumi says this as she walks along the balcony.
”This is Ms. Hanna’s room. The round part is bigger than the other rooms, so it’s totally fine even if a baby comes along!”
When I peek inside, it really is spacious.
”I guess it’s not good to go in, so let’s head back this way.”
Kazumi walked towards the big glass door we saw earlier.
”Ta-da! What do you think, Hiroya!”
Kazumi suddenly got super excited.
”Oh! Wow!”
This is the bedroom. And it’s way bigger than our personal rooms. Plus, there’s a huge bed that takes up most of the space!
”We can all sleep here easily!”
Rena jumped onto the bed with a big thud.
”Right? Sometimes we all want to sleep together!”
”…But Big Sister Liz pushes us away while we’re sleeping and hogs Big Brother Hiroya…”
”Well, you guys do move around a lot when you sleep, you know?”
Isn’t Liz supposed to be the oldest of the beautiful 5 sisters? Lately, she seems to be getting picked on a lot.
”Okay, okay. Now, if we go out of here…”
When I opened the double doors in front of us, we stepped back into the open space we saw earlier.
”Well, this is what the second floor looks like. If you go down the hallway past those stairs, the round part on the front right of the house is the hall, and if you turn left, it leads to Ms. Hanna’s room.”
”I see, Kazumi. This house is really nice. Moving and ordering furniture must have been tough, right? Thanks for that.”
”Well, Snow Wolf and the others helped out too.”
”Ms. Stella and the maids at Hiroya’s house helped too.”
Rena and Kazumi smiled shyly.
”So, since all our rooms are on the second floor, what’s on the third floor?”
”Ah, the layout is pretty much the same as the second floor. There’s no balcony, and instead of a big bedroom, there’s a living room. It’s meant for guests to stay over… but…”
Kazumi hesitated a bit.
”Huh?”
”…I can’t say there won’t be more people living here in the future… you know?”
”What do you mean?”
”Like housemates, or you know… ‘Hiroya’s girl’.”
”Oh…”
I need to explain about Aluda properly…

Anyway, since we finished checking out the house, I took a bath. Kazumi, Rena, Snow Wolf, and Ms. Hanna had already gone in, and I was with Liz, Martina, and Dorothy, who had just been sweating in the backyard.
”By the way, Ms. Liz…”
”What is it, Dorothy?”
Dorothy, who was washing my body, spoke to Liz in a serious tone.
”When Mr. Hiroya fought Otto after he turned into a Demonkin, he released Mr. Hiroya’s power, right?”
”Yeah, it was amazing! Even Otto as a Demonkin was like a baby to him”
Liz splashed the water in the tub.
”…After that, Mr. Hiroya must have felt some desire, right? That’s a side effect of using that power.”
”Oh… you know a lot…”
Liz was half-submerged in the water.
”Big Sister Liz is unfair!”
Martina glared at Liz while washing her hair.
”Well, Asuka was there too! If Hiroya attacked Asuka… that would be a big problem, right?”
Liz jumped out of the water, leaning over the edge of the tub.
(Whoa, her chest is bouncing!)
No, that’s not what I meant…
”Well, in emergencies like that, it can’t be helped… but keeping quiet is unfair… Wait! Did Ms. Asuka see it?”
Dorothy, who was washing my stomach, looked up at me with a surprised expression.
”When fighting Otto, that Magic Eye cancels out the Physical Boost, so it’s frustrating, but I have to release my power to fight…”
”I see… So Ms. Asuka found out about it.”
”Well, I don’t think Asuka would blab about it.”
Liz sank back into the water.
”I think I need to explain things properly. Aluda saw it too.”
”Right! I need to tell Big Sis Kazumi about AluAlu too.”
Martina said while rinsing her hair.
I need to explain everything to Kazumi and Rena properly… but I’ll do that after the housewarming party.
Liz put her face back in the hot water again.
