With a blurry view, I tilted my head at a ceiling I didn’t recognize.
(Ah… right… I collapsed from the aftereffects…)
After letting Otto, who turned into a Demonkin, get away, I used my Hiroya’s power and had Liz help me deal with the rising desire. After one round of oral, I had another round standing face-to-face, and since I was Hiroya, I finished with a station-style position before collapsing.
When I looked over to the bedside, I saw Kazumi sleeping with her face buried in the blanket.
”Kazumi…?”
”Mm… ah… did you wake up?”
”Yeah. Sorry, I collapsed again from releasing my power.”
Kazumi sat up straight in her chair. I also got up from the bed.
”I heard from Liz… Otto turned into a Demonkin, right?”
”Yeah. It’s frustrating, but I can’t win in this body.”
”But… I’m glad you’re okay… welcome back, Hiroya.”
”I’m back. Sorry. Were you lonely?”
”…I was lonely, but I was busy with a lot of things.”
Saying that, Kazumi leaned in closer.
”Mwah♡… what should we do? Can you get up now?”
”I don’t feel any pain. Did Rena use ‘healing’ on me?”
”Yeah. She thought it would be best to let you sleep.”
”What time is it?”
”About 6 PM? If you can get up, you should take a bath. We have a housewarming party tonight.”
Hearing Kazumi’s words, I realized. Oh right, this is our new home.
”My room?”
Looking around, I saw a small room, about the size of 4 tatami mats, with a slightly bigger bed, a desk and chair, and a wardrobe.
”Yep. Everyone has the same layout. I thought it would be good to have a small room as long as we have some privacy.”
Kazumi also looked around the room.
”See, I wanted us to always be together… so I made the bath and living room really big.”
It’s typical of Kazumi to want to keep the ‘family’ connection strong.
”And, even though it’s not always possible, sometimes we want to sleep together, so I made a big bedroom too.”
”…I didn’t know you decided the layout without telling me.”
”I-I listened to everyone’s opinions and put it all together, okay? …I kept it a secret from you, though…”
Kazumi looked down, seeming a bit guilty.
”The big living room, big bath, and big bedroom. Everyone agreed on those 3 things. That made me really happy…”
”I see. Everyone is a good ‘family’.”
I patted Kazumi’s head. She really wanted a ‘family’ more than anyone else.
”Well, I have a lot to prepare. Go take a bath and change.”
”No, I want to go in through the front door and look around first. I just woke up here.”
”Right! Then I’ll let Suu, Noo, and Uu handle the preparations while I show you around.”
”Huh? Who are they?”
I didn’t recognize the names. But I could guess there were 3 of them.
”The Snow Wolf girls. They’ve been training to be maids.”
”…You still have the same naming sense, huh…”
”Anyway, I’ll guide you from the front door!”
Kazumi took my hand and led me out of the room.
”What do you want to do? Should I show you the second floor first?”
”No, I want to see the entrance first.”
”Got it. Can you close your eyes for me?”
I closed my eyes as she asked and let her guide me.
After going through a few doors, we reached the stairs. I carefully went down the stairs, and soon I heard a heavy door open, feeling the cold outside air on my face.
Then I went down a few more steps and was turned around.
”Okay. You can open your eyes now.”
Kazumi encouraged me, and I slowly opened my eyes.
”Wow…!”
It was a 3-story building. The house had a square shape, but the corners were round, giving it a mansion-like feel that I really liked.
”This is our new home! Come on in!”
Kazumi, smiling, pulled me inside.
As soon as we walk through the entrance, there’s the main area. The hallway on the right leads up to the third floor with a big staircase and connects to the kitchen and serving room on the right side of the building. The hallway on the left seems to lead to the bathroom.
And that bathroom is really big. There’s a changing area, and the bath itself is huge. It can easily fit ten people!
”Wow, you made it big again.”
”Well, since this is the southern living area, the hot spring is close by. But sometimes you just want to relax at home, right? Plus…”
Kazumi runs over to the bath and touches the water.
”This… it’s from the hot spring!”
”Really? It’s not just regular water?”
”Of course! Since I came up with the hot spring idea, I got the lord to bring in the hot spring water.”
Kazumi sticks out her tongue playfully. I can picture my dad smiling wryly.
”This is a luxury.”
”We can all fit in! Of course… Hiroya can join us too…”
Yeah, going to the hot spring is fun, but I have to use the men’s bath alone.
”Next is the living room. It also serves as the dining room.”
I go back to the entrance and open the double doors in front of me.
Inside is a spacious dining room. To the left, there’s a fireplace with a seating area and a cupboard, and in the rest of the space, there are big tables and chairs.
”How many people are in our ‘family’ now…?”
”Hiroya, me, Rena, Martina, Liz, Dorothy, Ms. Hanna, Su, Noo, and Uu, so that’s ten. Oh, and Ms. Hanna’s baby will be joining us too.”
”…Even then, one side of the table is enough.”
”But Aluda, Eluda, and Meluda will come over to play, and Gorge, Asuka, Ares, and other friends will be around too.”
Wow… so many people have joined while I was busy fighting…
”I never thought this would happen when I was in Japan…”
”Huh? Wasn’t Hiroya alone?”

Kazumi nods, saying, “I see.”
”Ah! Sir Hiroya!”
When I look toward the voice, 3 Snow Wolf girls in maid outfits run over to me.

They say this while curtsying, holding their skirts.
”I’m back. You all look great in those maid outfits.”
”””♡.”””
”But sorry… you all look so much alike, I can’t tell who’s who…”
”We’re triplets, so it’s hard to tell. That’s why…”
They all lift their skirts together.
”!”
”The girl in the red pants is Suu!”
”The one in the blue pants is Noo!”
”And the one in the black pants is Uu!”
”You wouldn’t know if we changed, right?”
”…I’ll think of something…”
Kazumi is also holding her head in frustration.
”””Well, we have things to prepare!”””
They bow deeply and head through the door at the back right of the dining room.
”That area is the kitchen, serving room, and pantry.”
According to Kazumi, the 4 cylindrical areas are: to the left from the entrance is the Snow Wolf girls’ room (they want to stay on the first floor for security), and on the right is the pantry. From there, you go through the kitchen, and the cylindrical area at the back right is the serving room. Then, if you go through the dining room, the back left leads to the greenhouse.
”If you open the door at the back of the dining room, you can go to the backyard. It’s like a small square, and you can train there.”
Just as Kazumi explains this, Liz, Rena, Martina, and Dorothy come in through the door. Each of them is holding a composite bow, a black bow, and a longbow, showing they were practicing archery in the backyard.
”Ah! Big Brother Hiroya is awake!”
”Mr. Hiroya, are you feeling better now?”
”Hiroya! The backyard is really nice! Perfect for training!”
As they all talk, Rena runs over and hugs me.
”…Hiroya can’t do anything if Rena isn’t watching…”
”Sorry… I had to fight someone I couldn’t beat without you.”
”…Well, it’s okay. You came back safe.”
Rena looks up at me and smiles.
”Shall we go to the second floor next? Everyone’s rooms are up there.”
At Kazumi’s words, everyone puts their weapons on the rack by the door to the backyard and heads toward the stairs leading to the second floor.
