”So about the members challenging the new dungeon…”
That evening, all the clan members gathered at the mansion.
”Since we’re at it, why not go together?”
Liz started talking, and Kazumi suddenly said something surprising.

Liz held her head in frustration.
”Maybe we should split into 2 big groups… but then, who would lead the other group? Dorothy or Rena…?”
Just as Liz started mumbling, the Wolf maids brought in the food.
”Let’s not think about the tough stuff until after we eat.”
Ms. Hanna presents ‘braised hamburger’ in front of Liz.
”Right!”
Liz, who seems to have switched her mind to ‘food’, grins widely.
”And today… instead of bread, I made ‘rice’!”
Suu, in a red mesh outfit, starts lining up plates with rice on them.

Both me and Kazumi lean forward, even Asuka is getting into it. Since we came to this world, we haven’t eaten much at all. I think the last time was when Aluda treated us to ‘congee’ right before we reached the Royal Capital.

Listening to all this, Ms. Hanna smiles and serves tea.
”I want to go to the dungeon too, but I understand that keeping Lady Hanna company is also part of the job.”

Sister Karina and Gièze went home next door after taking a bath.
Noriss and Lotta, Asuka and Gorge are staying over. Aluda is on duty, but Eluda and Meluda also insisted on staying over, saying “We want to stay too!”.

I ran my fingers over Dorothy’s sensitive spot as I counterattacked.

Unable to resist her sultry whisper in my ear, I quickly rinsed my body, scooped up Dorothy, and jumped into the hot spring.

(Lotta’s POV)
”Lotta, what are you doing?”
”Writing a letter. To Mom and Dad.”
In the room prepared for us, I wrote a letter at the table before getting into bed with Noriss.
(I joined Ms. Liz and Mr. Hiroya’s clan. If I work a little harder, I can definitely bring my family to this village…)
I penned those thoughts and sealed them in an envelope.
”…It feels like a dream. I was rotting away in guild at Mundo city when Mr. Garm invited me, and as soon as we came to this village, we joined Ms. Liz’s clan.”
”Do you think my Mom and Dad will be happy?”
”Yeah. But this is just the beginning. Lotta will become a full-fledged magician, and I’ll become a full-fledged thief, so we can bring our family to this village──and we have to repay this clan too.”

Neither Noriss nor I could go to the adventurer training school.
Of course, it was for financial reasons. We learned ‘on our own’ while we were back home. I had a talent for magic, so I picked up a few basic-level spells, and Noriss was skilled with his hands, so he learned the basic techniques of a thief.
We headed to the fortress city of Mundo and registered as adventurers, but as ‘Rank G’ adventurers, the only jobs we could get were errands and gathering. With no connections, we couldn’t join a party, and we barely scraped by day to day, earning just enough to survive.
We had no chance to use our abilities in practice, and we were slowly rotting away.
That’s when it happened. I was approached by Mr. Garm, a Rank D Fighter. Since we were the same age, we hit it off.
”I’m about to head back to Razia Village, want to come with me?”
It was a stroke of luck. I heard that the monster situation in the ‘Goblin Forest’ had calmed down, and lower-ranked adventurers were starting to return. Plus, there was good news: a ‘migration policy’ had been implemented, and it was exactly what we had been looking for.
From there, everything went smoothly. Mr. Garm took me on a quest, and after successfully completing it a few times, my rank went up to F.
Then I met Ms. Liz and the others, and they let me join their clan. Here, both Noriss and I have amazing seniors we want to look up to.

”Really… let’s do our best, Noriss.”
