”Ah, are you Sir Clayd… the strongest True Demon… no, the strongest Magician and Warrior of the True Demon Kingdom? The man closest to the Demon Lord’s throne, Sir Clayd?”
In front of me stood a man with dark skin, short black hair, and strong green eyes, a True Demon of the Graycolor species.
This man had the titles of ‘walking disaster’ and ‘Genocider Magician’, and was officially recognized by the True Demon Kingdom as a [red] holder.
I was surprised to hear that such a man had come all the way to this base to see me.
At my age, I had become an S-Class Hunter and gained some respect among the True Demon clan, but I never expected the True Demon Hero, Sir Clayd, to come visit me.
”…So you are Carlamia the ‘Blizzard Storm’…”
”Y-yes!”
My voice cracked from nervousness.
Sir Clayd gave me a scrutinizing look.
Then, after finishing his assessment, he beckoned to a girl standing beside him.
The girl looked to be about 15 or 16 years old.
”Dee, your father will be traveling for a while. Your mother is busy too, so please live with Carlamia for some time.”
”I want to go on a training journey with my father!”
”Sir Clayd? Who is this young lady?”
At my question, Sir Clayd’s gaze became intense.
”…Carlamia, if you ask, you might also be held accountable. It would be better if you just lived quietly with this Dee.”
”However, I must serve Kent Blackdagger, so I cannot just stay in this room without a reason…”
”Kent Blackdagger? Isn’t Blackdagger the family name of Gwain’s daughter, Miriallia?”
”Sir Clayd, Kent is a Majin man, Miriallia’s master, and my unwilling employer.”

Sir Clayd looked surprised by my answer.
”Lady Lila… I see… So there’s no one around Gwain to stop the chaos… In that case, he probably wouldn’t think that what he wants is with the disowned daughter.”
Sir Clayd seemed to come to some understanding on his own.
A sudden chill ran down my spine, as if something cold was pressed against it.
”Carlamia, from now on, what we discuss will be a serious secret for both the True Demon Kingdom and the True Demon Dukedom, as well as the Black Dragon Dukedom.”
The source of my chill was the fear of being caught up in political struggles.
My race, the True Demon, has a vast autonomous region in the northern part of the True Demon Kingdom, led by our chief as king.
That is the ‘True Demon Dukedom.’
And the ‘Black Dragon Dukedom’ is the autonomous region of the Black Dragon clan in the west.
The True Demon and Black Dragon clans have made significant contributions to the establishment of the kingdom, so they are specially recognized for their autonomy by the kingdom.
Hearing about such a serious secret between these two nations and the kingdom, it must be a political struggle.
The current His Majesty the Demon Lord probably doesn’t openly show it, but he likely looks down on the True Demon and Black Dragon nations, and I’ve heard that both nations resent His Majesty the Demon Lord’s favoritism towards Asura Clan.
”This is not a conversation for someone as inexperienced as me. I apologize, but please look elsewhere.”
I gathered all my courage and spoke to Sir Clayd to refuse him.
At that moment, Sir Clayd had cast ‘Bind’ on me.
That magic was faster and more precise than my master Soumei’s, and it couldn’t be undone.
The magic strength is just too different… This is the magic of the strongest ‘Genocider Magician’ in the kingdom… I, being so weak, can’t resist this…
”…I’m sorry. I can’t let you go. You are among the best of the True Demon talent outside the Dukedom. I don’t want to be rough, but sometimes, we can’t afford to hold back.”
”Ugh”
”Carlamia, actually this Dee is my child”
Sir Clayd suddenly confessed that the girl standing next to him was his daughter.
I was shocked.
I had just heard that the True Demon hero Sir Clayd had a child with a Majin.
”Wha, Sir Clayd! Having a child with a Majin… There were so many True Demon women available if you just returned to the Dukedom!”
”Carlamia, please be careful with your words. This Dee is not a Majin.”
Sir Clayd said this and took off the necklace from the girl he called Dee, showing me her back.
There were small black scales growing there.
”What! A Dragonia! Could it be that child is from the Black Dragon clan?”
”Moreover, she is the child of me and the queen, Fabulanova. She is an unofficial figure in the kingdom. Her card is also forged and registered as Majin’s [blue]. In reality, she is [red] just like me.”
The moment I heard about Sir Clayd, I regretted not meeting him and sending him away.
Because what I just heard is pretty fishy, and if I get involved, my life will definitely be in danger.

”So, is Lady Dee in the position of being the princess of the Black Dragon Dukedom?”

”Then, what does that mean for me to leave it to me? Isn’t it safer with Sir Clayd?”
”The thing is, recently, there have been suddenly more spies from the kingdom in the Black Dragon Dukedom. I asked Rashid to take me in at True Demon Dukedom, but he refused. Instead, he introduced you.”
I realized that I was caught in the chief’s troubles.
From the perspective of the Blackcolor species chief Rashid, it probably seemed okay to dump the troubles onto me, the Graycolor species.
But for the one who’s been dumped with the troubles, it’s really tough.

Sir Clayd seems to be very kind to his daughter.

”It’s just me, Chief Rashid, Fabulanova, and you, Carlamia. So, since you asked, I need your help. ‘Geass’”
Sir Clayd forced me with a Geass.
I couldn’t resist at all, and the Geass magic activated.
A pattern, the mark of the Geass, appeared on my palm.
”Hey, Sir Clayd! You don’t need to use ‘Geass’ on me!”
”I’m sorry. It’s important that this doesn’t leak out. The ‘Geass’ will only activate if you reveal Dee’s true identity. Basically, Carlamia just needs to live with the Majin Dee. It’s simple, right?”
”As I said before, I am employed by Kent Blackdagger. I can’t act on my own.”
”If you want to be a maid or do some work, you should talk to Kent. I can’t stay long. Carlamia, please take care of Dee.”
After pushing Dee onto me, Clayd released the binding and left, worried about being noticed for staying too long.
”Sir Clayd! You’re being too selfish!”
”Father is causing trouble… Carlamia.”
”Lady Dee… no, I’m sorry, but I will call you Dee from now on.”
”I don’t mind. I’ve been told by my father. I am the Majin Dee.”
Still, Sir Clayd doesn’t understand.
If a beautiful girl with brown skin, short blue hair, and lovely sapphire eyes becomes Kent’s maid, she would be dragged into bed within 3 days.
However, since Sir Clayd only asked me to take care of her and didn’t say to protect her chastity, I thought it would be safest to throw her into Kent’s harem.
Later, Fabulanova from the Black Dragon Dukedom might get very angry, but I felt that securing Dee’s safety without involving Lord Kent, my employer, was not possible.
”Dee, do you have a favorite man?”
”What? Out of the blue? I like my father.”
”Is there anyone other than Sir Clayd?”
”Hmm, not at the moment.”
”That’s good to hear.”
I decided to place Dee under the protection of Kent, who is a Lord Noble, to ensure my own safety.
However, since I dislike Majin, introducing Dee myself would raise suspicion, so I decided to have Ines and Feria meet Dee and ask them to speak to Kent on my behalf.
”Dee. I want you to come with me because I have someone to introduce.”
”Got it.”
I headed to where Ines and Feria were moving into the commander’s house with Carlamia.
