Chapter 47 The Dragon Tragedy Finale Dance and the Fantasy Theater Showdown
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
(Shin Seyfried’s Past Life Memory)
”Grandpa. Why are we practicing these forms when we’re supposed to be training for martial arts? Honestly, it feels more like a dance than anything else.” I asked, sounding a bit confused.
”Hmph? Well now, son, life throws all sorts of things your way. Best to be ready for ’em, ain’t it? If you prepare for everything and stay ready, it’ll come in handy when you least expect it. This form practice is the same. It might just save your hide one day, so you practice it well. It’s the form that’s passed down in our family to ward off calamity, or so the story goes.” my grandfather drawled, his voice gruff.
”What kind of vague answer is that? These weird movements ward off calamity? What kind of calamity are we even talking about?”
”Don’t rightly know. Just you remember every single technique of the Kamiki Takeomi Style perfectly, if you wanna protect those folks you care about.” he finished, his tone serious.
* * *
Since it had been so long since I actually used the Kamiki Takeomi Style, that memory of my pre-life training just popped back into my head. I remembered something else, too, something Orphen-san had told me long ago.
—Shin-sama. You won’t be able to defeat an Ancient Dragon like that!—
The Ancient Dragon he spoke of during sword practice—that mock ancient, ultimate species—was now standing right in front of me. Did my grandfather, back in my previous life, foresee this exact situation when he gave me that advice?
[“Who do you think you are, appearing suddenly like some common terrorist? A small brat like you couldn’t possibly defeat me, now that I’m fused with Albion! You will die regretting the moment you stood before Watashi! —Ryuuha…] Luva, who was frankly disgusting, started to rant.
”…Act One: Royal Amber Fierce Blow.”
The gross Luva-san tried to do something, so I went ahead and made my move. I gathered my magic and Ki into both hands, focusing it all to deliver a direct hit straight to the disgusting Luva-san’s jaw!
“
”Dorum Dao La Dorum Dao La Ali Dorum Dao La Dorum Da Ari Ora Ora Dora Ora Ali Dorum Dao La HWAATTAA!!” I yelled, trying out all sorts of battle cries to get myself pumped up.
CRACK!
[“Gyaaaah?! What is this strength?! All my beautiful teeth are shattered into a million pieces…!”] he shrieked in sudden pain.
”For having the body of an Ancient Dragon, you’re surprisingly brittle, aren’t ya? Get blown into the Albion sky, Vacuum Ten Thousand Dragons.”
[“Gyaaaaah?! A wound on my mouth?!…”]
”Blow away all the way to the atmosphere… Heave-ho! …Figure it’ll take about three minutes for you to fall back down to the ground, right?” I muttered, watching the massive figure shoot into the heavens.
* * *
”…He blew Luva’s gigantic body straight up into the sky?” Fafnir-san murmured, completely astonished, gazing up into the empty air.
”That’s so amazing, desuwa! Jin-sama~!” Lala-chan squealed, latching onto me and trying to grope my body while she was at it. I had to stop her.
”Lala-chan, House.” I commanded sternly.
”N-No way, desuwa. Jin-sama!” she whined, clinging harder.
”I’ll let you touch me as much as you want once everything is finished, so just wait a minute.” I placated her.
”…Understood. I won’t let you sleep tonight, Jin-sama.” she agreed, her tone shifting to intense excitement. Lala-chan looked just like a puppy who’d been scolded by its owner. I’d better give her some follow-up care later. Tying her up in a kikko-shibari¹ would definitely cheer her up, I figured.
”What kind of conversation are you two having in a situation like this? Are you… perverts?” Fafnir-san deadpanned.
”Yep. Lala-chan is the real pervert here. More importantly, we need to use this window of time for the real Dragon Maiden, Yulize-chan, to dance, right? Yulize-chan, can you come out?” I asked.
”Yes, Shin-kun.” she answered politely.
Zzzzz…
Yulize-chan emerged from my shadow. She was wearing a white Miko outfit with knee-high socks—a completely wholesome Miko outfit, not some lewd, perverted costume. Honestly, I felt a little disappointed. I was fully expecting her to pop out in the scandalous, pervy outfit she wore back in the Maidens x Cross-dressing event.
”Well, I guess that’s the difference between a game and the real world. Now, then. Multiple Sacred Artifacts activated: Evil Dragon Blade Play, Red Rose Garment, Painter’s Key Guardian, Shield of the Old Knight, and Rondo of the Cat Cage.”
I simultaneously activated the five Sacred Artifacts I’d acquired three years ago in the Mirror World. These Artifacts, each of them, possess different compatibilities and relationships with one another. By activating a set of Sacred Artifacts that bring coexistence and harmony within a small alternate world, the power of a miracle can be unleashed.
”…Right now, a wondrous, pseudo-theater is about to be woven together right here.”
The Evil Dragon Blade Play created a strong, black thorn barrier, acting as a fence to reject any intruders in the area… The Red Rose Garment decorated the dance stage curtain. The Painter’s Key Guardian simulated the opening of a beautiful theater curtain. The Shield of the Old Knight reflected all light, creating a pseudo-fantasy world of illusion. Finally, the Rondo of the Cat Cage constructed a massive, all-encompassing cage over the Albion Imperial Capital, guaranteeing absolute protection for the singer on the stage.
”The reason I wanted these five together was precisely for this absolute defense. The True-Clad Sacred Artifact Fantasy Theater is now open for business.”
And of course, the main star of today’s show was none other than the modern Dragon Maiden, Yulize Lindworm-chan.
”I shall sing… The Star Dragon’s Lord~♪… In the Cleft of the Dragon Ritual~♪… Forever believing your promise~♪… My chalk-white Dragon truly loves you… And longs for the day~♪… That day shall be today~♪” Yulize sang, her voice beautiful and clear, carrying the ancient words.
”Yulize-sama. As always, your voice and song are beautiful.” said Fafnir-san, in awe.
”This is… (The same words as the legends passed down in my clan? Why does the Dragon Maiden of Albion know this?)” she thought in astonishment.
”Yeah. That’s perfect. I can feel the Albion Imperial Capital… no, the whole Albion Empire moving right now. This means I can pull off the ultimate dance, can’t I! Overjump!”
I kicked off the ground with all my strength, rocketing high up into the sky, toward the massive target—Luva—who was still floating high above—
* * *
(High Above Albion Imperial Capital)
[“Curse you! Curse you! What is that little brat? Power like that shouldn’t exist! It’s impossible! This is a nightmare, all of it is just a nightmare…!”] Luva shrieked from above.
”Then I’ll make that nightmare come true for you, disgusting Luva-dono. No, ‘Calamity Luva,’ I should say. Along with my dance and the song of Dragon Maiden Yulize-dono… Rabbit String.”
[“You?! Why are you here? This place isn’t somewhere you can just… Gya-gi-ah?!”]
I struck first with the Rabbit String uppercut, pulverizing and crippling every bone in both of his massive hands.
”Snake Cutter Sword.”
[“Gogah?! My wings! My noble wings of Albion are being sliced to ribbons?!”] he screamed, the sound echoing high in the atmosphere.
”Ah, this Kamiki Takeomi Style Dragon Tragedy Finale Dance is a set of forms meant to completely annihilate a colossal, fictional enemy—a giant dragon. When combined with the Dragon Maiden’s song, it becomes a complete Dragon Slayer technique. Dragon Down.”
[“Gah! My… my chest! A huge, massive hole has been torn right through it!”] Luva coughed, his voice ragged.
The disgusting Luva-san’s gigantic body was staggering, lost in a daze of pain. Well, I guess it’s time to release him from his suffering.
”…Your fate was decided the moment you confronted me. The moment you faced me, the guy with a vast collection of dragon-slaying artifacts ready to go. This is the end. Final Curtain Capture.”
I activated countless dragon-slaying magic tools that I’d purchased from Rapunzel-san in the Regain Kingdom’s underworld, throwing them all at the gross Luva-san at once using my Black Shine Sheep magic.
[“…No! Don’t joke! I Watashi am not some being who deserves to die in a place like this! So, if someone has to die, it should be you…!” he protested, his voice desperate.
”Oh? Then I shall grant you complete annihilation instead. Luckily, we’re high up where there’s zero collateral damage… Permanent Erase (Eternal Despair), Everlasting Darkness Magic… Farewell, you cancer of Alysphia. With this, your road of life is utterly destroyed.”
[“…What are you saying? What did you do? You just cast some meaningless magic… H-Huh? Wait, what? My body is being absorbed into the darkness? How is this even possible… this isn’t… possible…”] he stammered, his voice trailing off.
SHUN!
He vanished before I could even run a proper existence check. What an anticlimactic end, honestly. Now that the gross Luva-san is gone, my performance is over, too. I need to fully repair the Albion Imperial Capital and get out of here fast.
Sometimes, the limiters on humanity’s existence in Alysphia are removed, causing them to awaken tremendous powers. I’m one of those people. The power I gained when my own limiter broke was the power of absolute Restoration and Recovery… a power that surpasses even that.
”Long-lasting peace for the Albion Empire… I’m so sorry for breaking the Empire—Heal the swaying, trembling earth. With my dirge and all my soul’s magic, I shall cure this land, healing the people, the dragons, the things, and every single injury in this nation of the true Dragons, Recovery Magic: White Dragon Restoration.”
This Recovery Magic has the power to perfectly restore all objects to their original state. And just as I used it, the Empire that Fafnir-san had destroyed seemed to be completely and perfectly repaired.
”…My job here is done. Well then, everyone in the Albion Empire, bye-bye! Solo Teleportation.”
With that, I quietly left the Albion Imperial Capital.

Summary:
In this intense action-fantasy chapter, the villainous heir Shin unleashes his ultimate, rehearsed technique—the Dragon Tragedy Finale Dance—drawing on a strange childhood memory of training for calamity. High above the ruined Albion Imperial Capital, he coordinates with the beautiful Dragon Maiden Yulize, who sings the ancient ritualistic song inside the impenetrable Fantasy Theater shield, a massive defensive structure built from combined Sacred Artifacts.
Shin quickly and brutally overwhelms the arrogant, dragon-assimilated terrorist, Luva, before using the absolute eradication magic, Permanent Erase, to completely wipe him from existence. The chapter concludes with Shin using his ultimate recovery ability, White Dragon Restoration, to fully fix the destroyed city and then teleporting away, leaving the world restored and his work done.”,

Character Insight:
Shin’s internal thoughts reveal a fascinating complexity: he’s an overpowered, strategic genius who is utterly ruthless in combat, yet he’s constantly distracted by the perverted antics of Lala, showing a very human, slightly flustered side. His willingness to use extreme power, coupled with his quick, almost bored repair of the capital, suggests a character who sees the world as a game board where he must play the role of the ultimate protector/villain, blending high-stakes action with personal, comedic desires.”,
—
Behind the Scene:
This scene establishes the true extent of Shin’s unique power set, which isn’t just about offense (Kamiki Takeomi style) but absolute, all-encompassing defense and recovery (Fantasy Theater and White Dragon Restoration). His ability to erase the powerful threat Luva completely, rather than just defeat him, hints at a type of reality-bending magic tied to the ‘limiter break’ of human potential in the Alysphia world. The character of Yulize is deliberately positioned in a wholesome contrast to the sexual tension with Lala, highlighting the comedic tone of the light novel.”,

• Uru – The wolf.
• Lala – Delusional saint candidate from the Lax Empire who becomes fanatically devoted to Shin, founding a religion in his name and often speaking with the quirky suffix ‘~desuwa’
• Painter’s Key Guardian – One of the five quest artifacts. It can pick any lock and was essential for free movement. Manifested as the puppet Chucky, whose malignant personality Shin destroyed, turning it into a crystal-colored key.
• Red Rose Garment – One of the five quest artifacts, secured previously (by defeating Master Raichi).
• Rondo of the Cat Cage – The final of the five quest artifacts. Acquired at the Cat Cage Prisoner location when Carrol threw it to Shin. Its collection allowed Shin to use the [Gate] to jump back to the original world.
• Shield of the Old Knight – One of the five quest artifacts. It is the treasure of the White Castle. Shin snatched it during the chaos caused by Carrol’s awakening.
• Right – An upperclassman frustrated with ten-year-old Alexia’s presidency who initially supported Lilith (‘Lili-tan’) for the role. He represents the ‘cute girl fetish’ faction, rips up the magic paper in anger, and engages in heated debates with Left about the academy’s bizarre political landscape and student obsessions.
• Albion Empire – A nation to the east of Regain where dragonkind is revered as divine. It is currently locked in ‘bloody, territorial chaos’ with the new Demon King’s forces in Schwert.
