[“Gyaaaaaah! My outer skin is being stripped away! Who—who are youuuu?! Why are you launching such a brutal assault on me? I am Cera, the Supreme Leader of this Lax Empire—”]
”Your speech is way too long, ya know? You gaudy old hag! Dark Magic, Dark Exorcism!”
Even in the world of Alysphia, I get to use my Dark Magic to turn the Lax Empire—one of the absolute filthiest nations—into my own personal battleground! That’s awesome!
”Oh, my! That is simply incredible, desuwa! Shin-sama… You are utterly overwhelming that tyrannical Pope Cera!”
”Hmm? I guess it’s probably just a good match-up, right?”
”A match-up, you say? Against that gaudy old… Oh, forgive me! Against Pope Cera and Shin-sama? I simply cannot believe it, wa! I am the one with the very best match-up with you, Shin-sama!”
”Yeah, I didn’t really catch what you were saying at the very end there. But the person I think I have the best match-up with is Orphen-san, ya know. Orphen-san is the greatest. He’s both kind and strict with me.”
”So… I’ve lost to that handsome older man? That is a bit of a shock, desu.”
”Well, more important than all that is the match-up with that gaudy old hag, ya know? She’s a denizen of the Dark, right? That’s why my Dark Magic is super effective against her.
”Pope Cera is a denizen of the Dark?”
Huh? Why is Lala-chan so surprised? Anyone should be able to tell when that gaudy old hag is giving off such a reeking stench of death, I think. Is she hiding some kind of trick?
”Are you making medicine out of test subjects, maybe? Some kind of potion to hide the smell of death, using the citizens of the Lax Empire?”
”Wh—what…? What on earth is that? That kind of talk… That’s a lie, right?! Pope Cera!”
[“Agh, it huuurts! My outer skin is being stripped away, I can’t hold it! I don’t know where you got that information, but it is a matter held in strict secrecy within the Lax Empire! It is not something I can lightly address!”]
”…Pope Cera… your face is all rotting and inflamed… oooh…”
It looks like she finally revealed her true face after taking a hit from my Dark Exorcism. Just like Night Alice and the Evil Dragon Luva… she’s a Fallen Angel.
”Would you mind not showing that scary face to Lala-chan? Dark Magic, Dark Needles!”
[“Gobe?!… Gyaaaaahhh!”]
”Wow. My Dark Magic really does work well against you, huh? You gaudy old hag. I ended up blasting her all the way toward that weird altar.”

[“Goba-ba-bi-a-ra-u-a?!!”]
A tremendous, earth-shaking CRASH erupted!
”Huh? P-Pope Cera?! What are you doing?… Why is your body so mangled before you’ve even reincarnated?” (A subordinate of Pope Cera, Bishop Fim, a lover of beautiful girls, asked with confusion.)
[“Gobi-ra-hi-a-sa-ka-ra-a!!”]
”Pardon? You were hit mercilessly in the face and can’t speak?… Well, my condolences, then.”
”Huh? She flew off in this direction, didn’t she?”
”Y-yes, but that place is the altar we use to summon the Heavenly Messenger, Shin-sama!”
”M-m-m! What is it? What, what, what is it?! Who is that beautiful girl?! Hey, you! You absolute super-gorgeous girl! Be my fiancée!”
Oh, no! This is bad. I can’t believe a new pervert is showing up right now! The only absolute super-gorgeous girl in this place has to be Lala-chan! This is awful.

”Black Shine Sheep-chan has quite the powerful kick, desuwa.”
[“Fu-a-na-na-ni-a-na?! (Fim!! Where do you think you’re going?!)”]

Another booming CRASH echoed through the cemetery!
”…Eighty percent of my body is damaged. I must heal this immediately! And then, I must again approach that super-gorgeous girl who captured my heart!”

”Sniffle… sniff, sniff, sniff. You there! From your body, my Shin-kun’s scent is wafting!”
”Sniff-sniff. Sniff, sniff, sniff. Indeed, the scent of my Shin-sama is present on you, Alexia-sama!”
”…Who are you two? Getting in my way like this, could you kindly step aside? I must make that absolutely adorable, super-gorgeous girl my fiancée.”
”…Make Shin-kun your fiancée? That is something I cannot overlook, no! Shin-kun is going to be my bride!”
”…I simply cannot overlook that! Shin-sama will be my master, and I will be the one he makes his bride!”

Summary:
The chaotic conflict deep beneath the Lax Empire intensifies as the Villainous Heir, Shin, unleashes his powerful Dark Magic to expose and defeat the corrupted Pope Cera, a horrific Fallen Angel figure. The bizarre scene escalates when the obsessed, perverted priest, Bishop Fim, appears and is instantly defeated by Shin’s ridiculously strong Sacred Artifact, the Black Shine Sheep. The injured Fim’s pursuit of a ‘super-gorgeous girl’ then throws him into a comical and frantic turf war with Shin’s existing fiercely devoted admirers.

Character Insight:
This sequence really highlights Shin’s core personality: he’s casually overwhelming in combat, using Dark Magic with ease, but his primary motivation is to protect the people he cares about, like Lala, from emotional harm or ‘creepy people’. Lala, the Exclusive Saintess, remains a picture of devoted awe, her concern only shifting to a competitive jealousy when Shin praises another man, Orphen, showing her deep, though slightly airheaded, attachment.

Behind the Scene:
As Shin was busy dealing with the corrupt Pope Cera and the perverted Bishop Fim, two of his other devoted followers, Alexia and another person (implied to be an existing admirer), noticed the powerful magical fallout and Fim’s landing. They immediately recognized the scent of their beloved Shin-kun/Shin-sama on Fim, leading them to confront the Bishop, completely misunderstanding the situation as Fim being a romantic rival for the ‘super-gorgeous girl,’ who they both believe is their Shin.

1 ‘My outer skin is being stripped away’ refers to the process of Cera’s corrupted, human-like shell being violently peeled back, revealing her true, damaged form underneath, which is pretty gross, ya know. ↩
2 Shin’s casual use of a dark magic spell like Dark Exorcism against the ‘Supreme Leader’ of a religious empire really shows how much he doesn’t care about their hierarchy. Also, him turning the ‘filthy’ Lax Empire into a battleground fits his whole ‘villainous heir’ thing but for a good cause, lol. ↩
3 ‘Fallen Angel’ is a recurring high-level enemy type in this world (like Night Alice and Luva), which tells you Cera is seriously powerful and super evil, even if Shin is kicking her butt right now. ↩

• Alt – A Dragonkin member of the Twelve Apostles who was researching Dragonkin-related Divine Artifacts. He becomes Shin’s primary source of information and suggests consulting his mentor, Lin, for a potential cure.
• Lala – Delusional saint candidate from the Lax Empire who becomes fanatically devoted to Shin, founding a religion in his name and often speaking with the quirky suffix ‘~desuwa’
• Luva – The cold, calculating Speaker of the Albion Empire’s Elder Council who proposes using political manipulation and hostages to acquire the prosperous Seyfried Territory.
• Night Alice – Hidden Gimmick Monster/Boss of the Maidens x Cross-dressing RPG, one of the founders of Alys Magic Academy. Hijacked the Mirror World (Wonderland) and ruled as the Student Council President. Her initial forms included Slaughter Doll and Alice Slaughter (centipede/alien).
• Uru – The wolf.
• Fim – The Pope Cera’s chief aide and the de facto second-most powerful man in the Lax Empire. Yellowish hair. He is a self-important, theatrical man with a perverted obsession with the young hero, Shin. He wears expensive suits, which are quickly destroyed when he transforms. His loyalty is twisted and ultimately self-serving, seeing the Empire as his personal playground.
