Chapter 74 The Fastest Holy Knight’s Humiliation and the Fallen Angel’s Chaotic Descent

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

(Lax Empire and Albion Empire border, Dragon’s Heaven Town/Street)

”Chairman Luva of the Albion Empire, it’s been too long, hasn’t it?” Pope Cera greeted, his voice a cold, calculated whisper. “You’re as unchanging as ever, I see.”

”Oh, if it isn’t Your Holiness, Pope Cera,” Luva returned smoothly. “Tell me, how is the decline of the Lax Empire progressing? All according to plan?”

”Indeed, absolutely,” Cera confirmed, his smile tight. “Give it a few more years, and the modern-day Saint will be ready to awaken as the Fallen Messenger¹—a perfect sacrifice. And how fares your side, Luva?”

”Lin Lindworm is proving to be a serious obstacle, I’m afraid. She stays with my granddaughter—the necessary sacrifice—all day, every day.”

”Ah, that Lin Dorvum… one of the comrades from Alysphia’s World a thousand years ago. I am surprised she’s still breathing. Hmm. Well, why not use your political authority to force her into retirement?” Cera suggested, his eyes gleaming. “Or perhaps give her a post as a teacher in the Albion Empire, somewhere that will severely restrict her freedom of movement.”

”Hoh. That is… a most intriguing proposition, Your Holiness,” Luva mused.

”…Luva’s talking to another rotten apple, isn’t he? That schemer who stole power from the Lux clan—Pope Cera.” Lin Lindworm grumbled, her voice full of crusty disapproval.

”Grandma, can I eat this?” a small, innocent voice asked.

”Hm? Oh, yes, you may… Wait a minute! What is this little Chin-Chink-Lin² standing behind you?” she demanded, turning sharply.

”…I am not a Chin-Chink-Lin,” the small figure protested.

”I found something that dropped and picked it up, so I made friends with him!” the other girl cheerfully explained. “He’s an aide to Pope Cera! Isn’t that amazing, even though he’s so little?”

”What did you say?! This little Chin-Chink-Lin is Cera’s aide?” Lin Dorvum sputtered, exasperated.

”Yes, I’m very important!” the little boy insisted proudly.

”Well, I’m the aide to Chairman Luva, so I’m important, too, you know!” the girl quickly countered.

”N-no, I’m more important!” he stammered.

”I’m many times more important than you are!”

 ”It’s me!”

 ”No, me!”

”Both of you are idiots! You little fools!” Lin Dorvum roared, exasperated by their bickering.

””Honnyappa³?!”” the children cried out in confused unison.

”Listen to me! Being an aide is just a fancy word for being their sacrifice! A sacrifice! So, when you grow strong enough to run away and escape, you must go to Merlin in the Seyfried Territory to find safety and protection! You ignorant children!”

 (Seraphim Grand Cathedral)

My name is Catoria Melektorc. I am the unwanted offshoot of the Lax Empire’s Saint lineage—an absolute failure. A poor fool who envies the rightful, modern Saint Candidate, Lala-sama.

Unable to abandon my dream of being a Saint, I became a Holy Knight, one of Pope Cera’s close personal guards. I swore to fight the enemies that would bare their fangs at the Lax Empire—all to protect His Holiness. But why, in the middle of this desperate battle, did the memory of my first encounter with her resurface?

”Why are you, the supreme leader of the Dragon Country, involved here? Yulize! And why did you force me to recall such a memory?” Catoria demanded, her voice tight with confusion and desperation.

”Why, it’s to save my dear friend, of course!” Yulize cried out with playful malice. “Hakua Ryuugi (White Dragon Arts), ‘Albino Scale’! Kishaaahhh!!”

Yulize’s half-dragonewt transformation was a true nuisance. The white dragon scales unleashed a wide-ranging, indiscriminate attack… or so it seemed. In truth, it was precisely and accurately destroying the monument honoring Pope Cera’s glory, the very core of the Seraphim Grand Cathedral. Touching Yulize’s scales was dangerous; it led to the mental interference attack I just suffered. She was a truly troublesome opponent.

”I shall defeat you with blinding speed while dodging your attacks! Yulize! Light Magic Hikari Utsushi (‘Right Load’)!”

Catoria closed the distance instantly, intending to finish the fight in a flash with the highest-speed Iai—a single, blinding light sword strike.

”Still fast, but maybe just a bit too slow, I think. Hakua Ryuugi (White Dragon Arts), ‘Albion Sword’!” Yulize countered, a hint of mockery in her voice.

A white longsword? What could she possibly do with such a thing? My sword strike was already inside her guard—it was too late…

 ”‘White Bullet’!”

”What?!” Yulize’s sword exploded! “Kyaaahhh! My armor is melting… even down to my underwear?! Nooo! Y-Yulize! How dare you do this to me? I’ll never forgive you for stripping me bare!” she shrieked, her voice thick with humiliation.

”You should always have a few tricks up your sleeve in a battle, Catoria… I’m going to train you now, just like I always do for that girl…” Yulize purred, her eyes dark with intent.

 A clattering sound—KALAN… DONJARADONJARA!—echoed.

What were all those magic-sealing items and those suspicious little vials?!

”W-Wait, Yulize! What are you planning to do with that strange medicine… Mmmmph?!” Catoria cried out, her voice cut off.

 GULP!

What was that strange-tasting liquid? Could it be… the aphrodisiac that was so popular in the Edo Lands³?!

”Now, I’m going to release your desires and bring you back to your senses, Catoria… I’ll invite you over to this side with me! Shaaaa!!”

”Hagyuu?! What are you doing to me in your half-dragonewt state, Yulize?! S-Stop it! Even as best friends, this is too much! You must not cross that line!!” Catoria pleaded, her protests weak and breathy.

Afterward, Catoria lost to Yulize… and she was made to experience so many amazing, gentle, and utterly blissful things by Yulize—things that would truly last a lifetime.

 (Lax Empire Underground Descent Altar)

”…Heh, looks like Fenrir (Female) and Yulize-chan are done with their part. Then I guess it’s about time we finished our business and got the heck out of the Lax Empire. Sound good, Creepy Old Woman?” Shin asked with a mocking smirk.

 ”I won’t forgive you! I won’t! I won’t! I won’t! I won’t! I won’t! I won’t! I won’t! I won’t! I won’t! I won’t! I won’t! I won’t! I won’t! I won’t! I won’t forgive the one who did this to me… I won’t forgive the one who drove me, the Fallen, into this corner! I won’t forgive you who appeared out of nowhere! Pope Cera won’t forgive you… I designate Fim, my close aide, as the sacrifice! I pray for the descent of the Heavenly Messenger! My Lord!” Cera’s mind screamed, a torrent of pure, unadulterated hatred.

 (Holy City Cemetery)

”Guuuhhh! I managed to endure it! My body endured, Pope Cera! Your aide, Fim, dedicated this body to support you…”

[Consent granted. Then, let that body be the sacrifice, and grant it temporary power… Cera Fim] a voice thundered.

 ───THWACK!

 ”…I… I’m… dead…? Wait? Why am I dead?”

”…Hee hee, the pervert is turning into sand, Layla-chan,” Alexia giggled, pointing.

”He really is, Alexia-sama… What is that black sword?” Layla-chan questioned, her voice soft with curiosity.

 ”KyalalaLala~!”

”Huh? You’re telling us to quickly climb on your back… and that it’s too dangerous here and we need to escape quickly? Red-chan! But we still haven’t met Shin-kun!”

 ”Kyaawa!”

”…You’ll give me a ‘live photo’ of Shin-kun if I obey you? W-what should I do? I can’t decide! Should I go see the real, live Shin-kun? Or should I take the live photo of Shin-kun?”

”Alexia-sama! Hurry and get on! It’s an ecchi picture of Shin-sama! Red-kun gave it to me!” Layla-chan urged, frantic.

Pshooo! (A violent nosebleed erupts.) “W-we must immediately return from the Lax Empire! Red-chan! You must give me a live photo of Shin-kun, too! Aaaah!”

 ”Kyuaaala~!”

…And so, Alexia and Layla began their journey to the Regain Kingdom, leaving the Lax Empire behind.

* * *

 (Collapsing Underground Altar)

”Looks like Alexia and Layla-chan are evacuating to a safe place. Good, good,” Shin murmured, watching them go.

”S-Shin-sama… we, we have to escape from this Lax Empire, too… before that monster—that used to be Pope Cera—goes on a rampage, let’s flee to Seyfried Territory! This Lax Empire is finished, desuwa. If that kind of monster runs wild, it’s all over…” Lala-chan pleaded, her voice quavering as she pointed at the monstrous, fleshy mass that had been Pope Cera.

”Hmm. I don’t think that’s possible, you know?” Shin replied with his characteristic casualness. “I think that Creepy Old Woman will chase Lala-chan and me to the ends of the earth just to kill us.”

”Gyuhihihi… I sacrificed Fim, and now the Heavenly Messenger is called! I am called! I am you, and you are me… You! I! MEAIAHHAHAHAHA!!… The Heavenly Messenger is inside my body! The highest-ranking Cera-Fim has descended!” The mass raved, its voice a fractured, exultant shriek.

White wings erupted, and a black halo ring appeared above the head. The mass of flesh contorted and shifted into the beautiful body of a human figure. Yet, the face had seven eyes and seven mouths. The white wings were host to dozens of living mouths, noses, and eyes—a failed Heavenly Messenger. The Fallen Angel had been forcibly summoned.

”…Ooh… Pope Cera’s body has become a monstrous form.”

”Pretty grotesque, huh? Is it an Elde or something?” Shin mused.

”Gyahahaha!! Good! This is good! I shall hunt you heretics with this body!” The Fallen Angel Cera-Fim bellowed.

”Hmph! Well, then I guess I’ll change my look a little, too… Sacred Artifact (general term for powerful items) ‘Black Shine Sheep’—Shape Shift!”

”Meeehh… Reveal the form of illusion here,” a profound voice whispered.

 ”…Shin-sama’s body is changing, desuwa!”

”Yeah. When you think of the villainous heir (Shin Seyfried) in the game, it’s definitely this look, right? I’m much taller now.” Shin grinned.

”Huh? Who are you? Where did that holy maiden, that little brat you were, go?” The Fallen Angel shrieked, confused by the sudden change.

”Who am I? Why, I’m one of this world’s villains, Shin Seyfried! So a villain will do what a villain does—commit evil. To punish a very bad Fallen Angel!” he declared, standing tall in his new, powerful form.

 Summary:

The past returns in a tense political drama flashback, revealing a corrupt deal between Pope Cera and Chairman Luva to use the Saint Candidate as a Fallen Messenger sacrifice, despite the fierce protection of the ancient Dragon Elder, Lin Lindworm. The present explodes into fantasy action as the devoted Holy Knight Catoria faces off against the playful, dominant Dragon Maiden Yulize in a brutal battle that ends in erotic humiliation and Catoria’s forced submission. Meanwhile, the main plan culminates in a truly terrifying event: the ritual fails, birthing a grotesque Fallen Angel from the corrupted body of Pope Cera’s aide. The villainous heir, Shin Seyfried, finally sheds his disguise, transforming into his iconic, powerful form to confront the new chaotic threat looming over the collapsing underground altar.

 —

 Character Insight:

This chapter is essential for understanding Catoria’s complex psychology: her intense desire to be a Saint, her resulting shame, and her fierce loyalty to Cera—which Yulize masterfully exploits. Shin’s true power is revealed as he coolly embraces his villainous heir role, showing his tactical mind and willingness to face an otherworldly supernatural monster head-on. Yulize is established as a manipulative but strangely caring antagonist, using sexual power to ‘save’ Catoria from her self-destructive path, highlighting the story’s Yuri themes.

 —

 Behind the Scene:

The confrontation between Shin Seyfried and the Fallen Angel Cera-Fim is set up as the next major dark fantasy clash. The dramatic escape of Alexia and Layla (who are dangerously obsessed with Shin’s ecchi photos) serves as a momentary break in the tension and a final, comical nod to the story’s inherent adventure RPG structure before the final boss fight. The use of the aphrodisiac and Yulize’s ‘training’ of Catoria is a key turning point in Catoria’s loyalty, moving her away from the corrupt Lax Empire and towards the protagonists’ side.

Notes:

• Albion Empire – A nation to the east of Regain where dragonkind is revered as divine. It is currently locked in ‘bloody, territorial chaos’ with the new Demon King’s forces in Schwert.

• Luva – The cold, calculating Speaker of the Albion Empire’s Elder Council who proposes using political manipulation and hostages to acquire the prosperous Seyfried Territory.

• Lin – Alt’s mentor, described as the ‘Great Hero who sealed the ancient dragon, Albion, who resides in the Dragon Country.’ He is suggested as someone who might possess knowledge of a cure for the dragon race’s strange disease.

• Sera – the top figure of the Lax Empire’s church, currently possessed by or being a tool of a darker force. He wears white and gold papal robes and has a gaunt, manic appearance with crazed eyes. He is smugly preparing for a ritual using Lala as a sacrifice. His personality is unstable and menacing, focusing solely on the success of the ‘Advent’ ritual.

• Catoria – the No. 5 Holy Paladin of the Lax Church’s Eight Holy Lords (Shukufuku no Katria). She is a mature woman wearing ornate blue and white religious vestments. She is gentle and expresses concern about the missing Holy Lords and the Pope Sera’s unusual temperament.

• Lala – Delusional saint candidate from the Lax Empire who becomes fanatically devoted to Shin, founding a religion in his name and often speaking with the quirky suffix ‘~desuwa’

• Right – An upperclassman frustrated with ten-year-old Alexia’s presidency who initially supported Lilith (‘Lili-tan’) for the role. He represents the ‘cute girl fetish’ faction, rips up the magic paper in anger, and engages in heated debates with Left about the academy’s bizarre political landscape and student obsessions.

• Alt – A Dragonkin member of the Twelve Apostles who was researching Dragonkin-related Divine Artifacts. He becomes Shin’s primary source of information and suggests consulting his mentor, Lin, for a potential cure.

• Fim – The Pope Cera’s chief aide and the de facto second-most powerful man in the Lax Empire. Yellowish hair. He is a self-important, theatrical man with a perverted obsession with the young hero, Shin. He wears expensive suits, which are quickly destroyed when he transforms. His loyalty is twisted and ultimately self-serving, seeing the Empire as his personal playground.

• Uru – The wolf.
