She’s only acting subdued right now because she’s wearing the Sacred Artifact—the ‘Maid Order-Made’—that I own. Meanwhile, Yulize-chan and I are securely tied up, while the protagonist, Alexia, and the other heroines are free to escape whenever they want. What in the world is she planning, I wonder?
”…Are you, perhaps, my enemy?” I questioned, trying to sound cool.
A cold chuckle escaped her lips. “Fufufu. Whatever are you talking about, Shin-sama? I am Layla Crescent, your exclusive maid,” she cooed, her tone unnervingly polite.
”And you’re the Headmaster’s granddaughter here at Alys Magic Academy… I get it. Are you a spy meant to restrain me after all the crazy stuff I’ve done these past few years? You’re Mother’s personal attendant, aren’t you?” I pressed her.
”…I can’t answer that, you see. I’m simply acting for the future of the Seyfried family,” she replied, her voice remaining detached.
”That sure sounds like an answer to me! Besides, what kind of magic lets you fully control Layla-chan’s mind without her even noticing?” I demanded.
”That is strictly forbidden information,” she whispered. “More importantly, though. Are you finally ready to surrender to me, Shin-sama? I’d like to give you the Pleasure Crest right on your stomach, if that’s all right?”
This strangely formal Layla-chan started drawing a bizarre-looking magic circle in both of her hands, slowly closing the distance between us.
”! …That feeling. No way! Shin! Get out of the way! That magic circle—it’s the Treasure Registration Magic Oath: Pleasure Crest!” Karentisia-chan shrieked, totally losing her composure.
”Layla-chan, no way~! My Shin-kun’s first time is mine to claim! Don’t use such suspicious methods!” she insisted, clearly frantic.
Karentisia-chan is totally freaking out right now. When the usually calm and collected Karentisia-chan—the one who’s always secretly having dirty thoughts—gets this stressed, you know it must be serious. And why is Alexia looking so bewildered, too?
”Fufufu… Shin-sama. Prepare yourself,” Layla-chan said with a sinister flourish.
”Yeah, yeah. You’re right. I’m kinda bored of pretending to be caught, anyway. I think I’ll take my leave for now,” I declared, striking a dramatic pose.
”…Huh?”
After delivering my cool line, I took a massive breath and prepared myself…
”Swooooooosh, HOLLOWWWW!! I stole your favorite RED PANTIES!! And I’m making Layla-chan wear them right now!” I boomed, yelling as loud as I could so my voice echoed through the entire secret room.
”W-wait, what? I’m wearing Hollow-sama’s red underpants? …Ah-wa-wa-wa! No way that’s true! The panties I put on this morning… Were they really Hollow-sama’s?! Shin-sama~!” she wailed, instantly reverting to the flustered, clumsy Layla-chan I knew.
And here she comes. Scarlet the Ogre.
Crack… Grind… Pop-pop-pop… BOOOM!!
The wall of the secret room that I own was violently destroyed, and the raging barbarian, Hollow, made a grand entrance, swinging her red greatsword. Amazing, truly amazing.
”Oh, thank you! You saved me, Hollow! You really are this world’s Villainous Daughter! When all else fails, I can always count on Hollo—Ughk!!!” I gasped, as Hollow’s wildly swinging greatsword made a direct hit, launching my body straight into the solid ceiling.

”Gyaaa-ba-ra-hera-u-oh?!”
CRACK! CRACK! My body broke right through the ceiling and landed squarely on the rooftop. The moon is so beautiful tonight! It looks like it’s a full moon and outside is definitely night.
”She came! She came! Shin-sama has been launched up to us~!” cooed Lala-chan, who was waiting on the rooftop, riding on Red-kun’s back. “Hollow-sama’s signal was absolutely perfect~desuwa, Red-chan!”

”(That’s Red-kun’s signal. Operation start!)” The white dragon chirped, then bellowed, “KYUU!!”
”U-ugh… What did I just… Oh, my? Wait. Shin-sama’s friend, the White Dragon, grew so big?” Layla-chan stammered, still disoriented.
”KYUU! (Let’s go! Both of you!)” Red-kun insisted.
”Huh? We’re escaping? But I… I haven’t mentally prepared myself yet,” Lala-chan objected.
”…S-same here. I haven’t been teased enough yet,” Karentisia-chan demanded.
”KYUAAA! (Just go already!)” Red-kun cried out, impatient.
”W-wait a minute, you pervert sisters and White Dragon! You were planning to run without a single bit of remorse… Light Magic: Light Chain!” Alexia shouted, trying to stop them.
”KYUU! (Too slow to activate, you see!)” Red-kun mocked.
”What?! It took off?! I won’t let you escape!” Alexia raged.
”KYUA-WU-UUU?! (What?! A chain of light magic is chasing my tail?!)” Red-kun yelped in surprise.
”…Shin-kun has become a star,” Yulize-chan observed simply.
”BAKA SHIN!! Give me back my red panties, you pervert!” Hollow roared from below.
”Hollow-san! I am not Shin-sama! P-please don’t forcibly remove my underpants!” Layla-chan screamed.

(Alys Magic Academy Rooftop, Again)
”Shin-sama~! I’ve come to pick you up~!” Lala-chan cooed, now much taller than me, patting my head like I was a little kid. I’m so embarrassed! I wish I would grow already!
”Yeah, thanks, Lala-chan… But please don’t treat me like a toddler. It kinda hurts my pride, you know,” I sighed.
”Yes! I love you very much, Shin-sama~!” she declared with immense affection.
I’d really prefer a less perverted type of love from Lala-chan right now. “Sure. But more importantly, once Yulize-chan and the others escape, let’s get out of the Regain Kingdom for a while. I have a bad feeling about this. I wanna prepare a few things before anything big happens,” I explained.
”Yes! Then, by all means, let’s go to my and Shin-sama’s new home! I used our shared funds to build a lavish mansion!” she exclaimed with pride.
”…Hold on a second, Lala-chan. This is the first I’m hearing about this,” I stated, genuinely surprised.
”Yes! I’m reporting it to Shin-sama for the very first time!” she beamed, looking utterly pleased.
No, no. I can’t let her get away with making that satisfied face. “…Oh, really? Wow, that’s amazing,” I said to Lala-chan, my voice suddenly becoming a little cold.
”Yes! That’s right~desuwa!” she nodded, her eyes sparkling.
Wait, the funds Lala-chan used were my own private hidden savings, weren’t they? The secret stash I’d been carefully collecting since I was a kid. The hidden fortune I needed to survive the future.
”KYUU!”
”Shin-sama~! We’ve escaped!” Yulize-chan announced.
”Shin… Punish me,” she added, a hint of a pout in her voice.
While I was dealing with Lala-chan, Yulize-chan and the others managed to escape, too.
”Everyone’s here! Great! First things first: let’s get out of this suspicious Alys Magic Academy! Red-kun, let’s go!”
Kyu-lala-la~!
With my shout, Red-kun soared into the night sky. I was riding up front, followed by Yulize-chan, Schuna-chan, Yuna-chan, and then Lala-chan, all lined up on Red-kun’s back.
”Once we get this far, all that’s left is to escape~desuwa~!” Lala-chan cheered, so happy to be reunited with me that she raised both hands to the sky, letting go of Red-kun’s body.
Then, I heard a sound…
GRAB!
”Huh? …GRAB? What is this white, glowing chain-like thing… H-haaaaaa~desuwaaaaah!!”
A white light shot out from the hole we used for escape, clinging to Lala-chan’s body and yanking her back down toward the academy floor.
In the same spot Lala-chan had been sitting, the blonde Elf, Karentisia-chan, suddenly jumped aboard, taking her place.
”I caught up, you worthless mutt! Where did you think you were going to run?” Karentisia-chan demanded, her voice clear and beautiful.
”Shin-shamaaaa! Please save meeeeee!!” Lala-chan shrieked, plummeting down the hole.
”…That strange feeling is getting closer and closer. Are they targeting us?” I mused. “Well, at least Alexia and Lala-chan won’t get dragged into it. Hollow’s down there, too… It’s much more dangerous for us to stay here in Alys Magic Academy right now.”
”Shin-shamaaaa!!” Lala-chan’s dying scream could still be heard. That’s amazing, really.
”Lala-chan~! You must be tired from the Lax Empire trip! Take it easy in Alys Magic Academy now that we are gone! Bye-bye~!” I called down cheerfully.
”Hyaaa-deshuwaaaah!” she screamed, her voice completely distorted.
I guess I’ll ignore that.

”?! W-what is that strange presence?!” Karentisia-chan gasped.
”Hunters or Guardians, probably,” I stated simply.
”Hunters? What are those?”
”…They’re the highly competent people from the Seyfried family. My Mother’s people, you see. Red-kun, hit the hyper-speed and fly!”
Kyu-lala-la-la-la!!!
”””GYAAAAH!!”””
”That explanation isn’t helping at all, you worthless mutt!” Karentisia-chan demanded, clinging on.
”I’ll explain later, just calm down, Karentisia-chan!”
Just like that, Red-kun soared into the full moon night, and we disappeared from the Regain Kingdom. We need to stay hidden from whoever is trying to restrain us. And look, a thick fog is starting to roll in, too. Someone must be intentionally using it to hide something…

This scene marks a major turning point, moving Shin and his core group into fugitive status from the powerful Seyfried family and their mother’s elite Hunters. The seemingly random elements of the Pleasure Crest and the stolen panties were actually key parts of a complex, split-second plan to activate the powerful-but-unpredictable Hollow as a distraction and to revert the controlled Layla-chan to her harmless, true self. The Light Chain ambush, likely meant for Shin’s whole group, only manages to snag Lala-chan, leaving the party to escape on the White Dragon Red-kun and enter a new phase of their Yuri RPG adventure.
Notes:
• Lala – Delusional saint candidate from the Lax Empire who becomes fanatically devoted to Shin, founding a religion in his name and often speaking with the quirky suffix ‘~desuwa’
• Yuna – female of high religious/political standing, specifically holding the title of High Priestess and being one of the Eight Sacred Lords of the Lax Church. Her outer appearance is suggested by the fact that her opponent, Yuriyuri, was wearing her stolen nun’s habit after the confrontation. Her role as an intruder in the Seyfried Territory led to her defeat and capture by her adversary, Yuriyuri.
• Lin – Alt’s mentor, described as the ‘Great Hero who sealed the ancient dragon, Albion, who resides in the Dragon Country.’ He is suggested as someone who might possess knowledge of a cure for the dragon race’s strange disease.
• Uru – The wolf.
