Serving only Shouta and Takumi, he tyrannizes Ren and staff, feigns mentorship, hoards Maultasche artifacts in the Souveraineté Empire, and is easily manipulated by Sakura.
• Mercedes – Mercedes (Mel), 19, is a 160+cm, brown-haired noblewoman, Knight, and Maultasche’s Home Secretary. Married, she leads the Third Unit, chaperones a high‑school girl party, teases Daisuke with disciplined charm, and after battle was found unconscious, carried by Cassandra while wielding a segmented great scythe. Playful yet rough‑caring with subordinates.
