Volume 6 Chapter 10 The Invitation

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

Following Ines, whom I’d started seeing first, I’d also ended up in a relationship with Sylvie and Juliet. Now, every member of the Gale Party officially became my lover. Since I was planning to move out of my current place soon, the timing for suggesting we all live together was a bit awkward. Still, if we were going to share a roof eventually, it was better to have them start bonding with Liese and the others sooner rather than later.

I especially needed to keep an eye on Camilla, who was painfully shy, and Juliet, who was very clear about what—and whom—she liked and disliked.

And so, for today’s date, I decided to invite the three girls from Gale over to my house.

 ”Welcome in.”

”Thanks for having us,” Ines said.

”Thank you so much for the invitation! ♪”

”Morning. So, this is Daisuke’s place…” Juliet muttered.

When the doorbell rang and I went to greet them, all three were standing there. As usual, Juliet was the first to speak, though she looked a little tense today. She was dressed casually in hot pants, a crop-top shirt, and a short-sleeved jacket. The sight of her bare legs and exposed midriff was practically dazzling.

Sylvie had her usual beaming smile, wearing a sundress with a refreshing color palette. She looked as cute as a fairy, but she was a bundle of curiosity—and, as I knew well, she could be quite greedy in bed.

Ines was also dressed down more than usual, pairing a striped T-shirt with beige pants. A striped shirt can easily look tacky, but because she had the grace of a model, she looked genuinely adorable. I’d told them casual clothes were fine, which explained their outfits. While I always appreciate them dressing up for our dates, it was nice to see them relax for once.

”Like I mentioned before, I’m living here with my three slaves. Legalities aside, they feel like family to me. That’s why I’m hoping you three, as my lovers, can all get along with them. Ines, you’ve met Liese and Camilla, but this is your first time meeting Ilse, right?”

”That’s right. I’ve only heard stories.”

”You did say she was ‘cheeky but cute,’” Juliet added with a smirk.

”Er, well, setting that aside… Ilse, introduce yourself. Liese and Camilla, you too.”

”Nice to meet you. I’m Ilse.”

”Good morning, everyone. I am Liese.”

 ”Welcome… I am Camilla.”

Since Juliet had blabbed, my ‘unique’ way of describing Ilse was out in the open. Ilse shot me a look that said she had plenty to complain about, but she kept her mouth shut in front of the guests. I’d probably get an earful later, though.

”It’s not that Ilse is getting special treatment, but I usually let her speak informally with me. Are you three okay with that?”

”I don’t mind at all,” Ines said.

 ”Me neither!”

 ”I’m fine with it too.”

”Thanks. Then Ines, Sylvie, Juliet—could you introduce yourselves to them?”

”Understood. I’m Ines. I’m an adventurer working with these two. Daisuke saved my life, which is how we became close, and now I’m one of his lovers.”

 ”I’m Sylvie! I’m also Daisuke-san’s lover! ♪”

 ”I’m Juliet. And I guess… I’m a lover too.”

Being her usual amanojaku¹ self, Juliet had to add “I guess,” but since she admitted to being my lover, I figured it was good enough.

”Juliet-san, is ‘I guess’ really enough?” Sylvie teased.

”These three are like family to Daisuke. You should say it properly.”

”Oh, for heaven’s sake! Fine! I’m Daisuke’s lover too! Happy now?!”

 ”Hehehe ♪”

 ”Juliet’s just shy,” Ines explained.

Poked by the other two, Juliet’s face turned bright red as she corrected herself. Ines was usually just as shy, but she’d been getting used to things lately. Sylvie, on the other hand, didn’t seem to have a bashful bone in her body. Regardless, Juliet was looking adorable—huffing with her tail fluffed up in mock intimidation—so I reached out to pet her.

”Thanks, Juliet. I’m happy you said it properly.”

”…It’s not like I did it for you. But, sorry for adding that ‘I guess’ part.”

”I’m not mad about something like that.”

As I stroked her, she gradually softened, and her cat ears and tail began to twitch contentedly. She’d been annoyed, but she seemed fine now.

”Daisuke, it’s not fair to only give Juliet special treatment, you know?” Ines pointed out.

”She’s right! I want some of that too, please! ♪”

”Ah, sorry. It’s ‘your turn’ too, right.”

 ”Master…”

 ”Ma… Master…”

 ”……”

Ines and Sylvie had asked directly, and I could tell Camilla and Ilse were practically begging for pets with their eyes. Liese remained silent, but I didn’t want anyone to feel left out. I decided to go around the room and pet everyone in turn to keep the peace.

* * *

The house wasn’t that big, so the tour didn’t take long. The three slave girls headed to the living room to prepare tea. The only thing that really surprised the guests was the bath, but when I explained it was a habit from my previous life, they accepted it.

”With magic, I can get hot water whenever I want, so it’s no trouble at all. It doesn’t even cost anything.”

”I suppose that makes sense,” Ines said.

”That’s our Daisuke-san. Usually, because of elemental aptitudes, most people can only manage water or fire, even if they can do magic at all.”

”You really are too convenient for your own good,” Juliet remarked.

”Hey, I’ve had my fair share of struggles in the romance department because of it. You know that, right?”

 ”…Yeah. You’re right. Sorry.”

”I’m not mad. Here, come here.”

I pulled the moping Juliet into a hug. She didn’t resist; instead, she snuggled into my arms, hugging me back with a surprising amount of strength. It was incredibly sweet.

”I get you, Juliet. I actually value your critical side, so I’d be happy if you kept speaking your mind without holding back.”

 ”…I’ll think about it.”

”Hehehe ♪ Daisuke-san really is softhearted, isn’t he?” Sylvie asked.

”He is. But ‘this’ is a ‘turn’ system, remember?”

 ”I know, I know.”

Once Juliet had calmed down, I gave Ines and Sylvie their hugs in turn. They both came to me happily, and their enthusiasm made me just as glad. I took a moment to enjoy the different sensations of each of them. Juliet was petite but surprisingly well-endowed, with a firm, elastic feel. Ines had an overwhelming volume to her chest, with a perfect balance of firmness and softness. Sylvie was the smallest, but she had soft, feminine curves and was the most proactive.

After the tour, we settled back in the living room for some tea and a chat.

”Let me introduce them properly. First, Liese. She was the first slave I took in. As you can see, she’s a Dragonewt. She’s a good girl—serious and a very hard worker.”

”Thank you for the kind words, Master.”

”They aren’t ‘kind,’ they’re the truth… anyway, that’s who she is.”

”Hmm, she seems like the most ‘slave-like’ slave,” Ines observed.

”I agree. Being a Gray Dragonewt, she must have had a hard time,” Juliet added.

”That’s true. Liese-san, magic aptitude is a difficult hurdle, but with Daisuke-san helping you, I’m sure you’ll be fine,” Sylvie encouraged.

”Yes. Master treats me very well.”

”Next is Camilla. I took her in after a duel with Gerta. She’s a fox-type beastman. She’s a sweet, spoiled little thing. She’s very shy, so please be gentle with her.”

 ”P-please… treat me well…”

She was so nervous her tail was standing straight up. It was a bit pitiful, so I petted her to help her relax.

”Come here, Camilla. There, there. You’re such a good girl.”

 ”Ehehe… Master…”

”Oh my, look at her…” Ines whispered.

 ”She’s absolutely precious! ♡”

”I can see why Daisuke wants to dote on her,” Juliet said, her gaze uncharacteristically soft.

”And finally, Ilse. I told you before how I ended up with her. She’s a tiger-type beastman. Her energy and boldness are her best traits.”

 ”Nice to meet you.”

”So this is the one,” Ines said.

”She doesn’t look as… wild as I expected,” Juliet noted.

”I see… Daisuke-san, is it okay if we talk with these girls alone for a bit?” Sylvie asked.

”Sure. I wanted everyone to bond anyway. It might be easier for you to talk without me hovering, so I’ll step out.”

 ”Thank you! ♪”

”I’ll leave the soundproofing on, so talk as much as you want. I’ll go get lunch ready.”

”Master, we should be the ones preparing—” Liese started.

”Liese, you three stay here and talk with Sylvie and the others. Getting to know them is your job today.”

 ”…Understood.”

Once Daisuke left, Sylvie and the others turned to Ilse.

”Ilse-san, we heard you’ve been receiving ‘rewards’ from Daisuke-san. How is that going?”

 ”Well, Sylvie-sama…”

”You don’t need to use ‘Sama,’ and you can speak normally with us,” Ines interrupted.

”Thanks, Ines-san. Well, about the ‘rewards’… yeah, he does it for me once a month. This month’s is coming up soon.”

”He’s not… forcing you, right?” Juliet asked.

”No, I’m the one who asked for it. It started with Daisuke’s ‘discipline,’ but even that was something I requested. He took me in as a slave because he was willing to put up with my selfishness.”

”I see. It’s just like he said,” Ines nodded.

Ines, Sylvie, and Juliet knew that owners often coerced slaves, and while legally allowed, they wanted to ensure Daisuke wasn’t that kind of person.

”And Liese-san, Camilla-chan? You two haven’t had that kind of relationship yet?” Sylvie asked.

”Correct,” Liese answered. “I offered my services for Night Attendance on the first day, but he turned me down, saying it wasn’t necessary as a slave’s duty.”

 ”That sounds like him.”

”But you don’t… dislike him, do you?”

”No. He treats a slave like me with immense kindness, and I am deeply grateful. He’s even training me to be an adventurer because that was my wish. And his overwhelming strength… I can’t help but admire him.”

”So it’s gratitude and… respect as a fellow warrior?” Juliet surmised.

 ”Exactly.”

”What if Daisuke wanted you not as a slave, but as a woman? What then?” Ines pushed.

”…I don’t think Master would ever seek out someone like me when he is surrounded by such wonderful women as yourselves. But… if that day ever came, I would be honored to serve him.”

”At the very least, she clearly has feelings for him,” Sylvie smiled.

”Well, this weird dynamic is very ‘him,’” Juliet sighed.

Liese didn’t quite get what was so funny, but she didn’t see the need to interrupt. Then they turned to Camilla.

”I… I haven’t either. If Master wanted me, I’d be so happy. But I’m worried that someone like me wouldn’t be enough to satisfy him…”

”Oh, stop! ♪” Sylvie laughed. “Daisuke-san told me he liked me even though my body type isn’t that different from yours. You don’t need to worry about that. If it’s hard to say because you’re a slave, do you want us to tell him how you feel? I’m sure he’d welcome you with open arms.”

”No, I’m okay! Just being by Master’s side makes me happy enough…!”

”He has those Skills that make women dislike him, yet you’re all so devoted,” Juliet muttered.

”…He saved my life when I was dying,” Camilla said, looking up with clear eyes. “He fought a duel against my old master just to take me in and keep me with him. I have so many reasons to love him, and not a single reason to ever hate him. I love Master with all my heart.”

”That’s… an incredibly pure kind of love,” Ines said, looking almost dazzled.

”And she’s just so cute! ♡”

”…I’m actually a little jealous,” Juliet admitted.

”Do Ines-san and the others like Daisuke, too?” Ilse asked.

”Ilse! It’s rude for us to question the guests like that,” Liese scolded.

”It’s fine, Liese,” Ines waved it off. “As for Daisuke… yeah, I love him. I’m the one who asked him to be with me.”

”He was the one who told me he loved me, but I absolutely love him back! ♡” Sylvie chirped.

”I… I like him too. Things are a bit complicated so we haven’t done ‘that’ yet, but I’m not against it.”

”Heh, I figured. Juliet-san hasn’t yet, but Ines-san did it with Daisuke a week ago, and Sylvie-san did it three days ago, right?”

”Wait, what?! Did Daisuke tell you that?!” Ines gasped, her face turning crimson.

”No, I could just tell by the scent.”

”S-she’s right,” Camilla added shyly. “We could smell your scents on him before, but it was much stronger on those days. It was… the scent of a woman.”

”I didn’t say anything, but I noticed too,” Juliet muttered.

”Beastmen have such sharp noses… I totally forgot,” Sylvie blushed.

”This is embarrassing… but I guess it can’t be helped,” Ines sighed.

”You’re all lovers, right? There’s nothing to be embarrassed about,” Ilse said bluntly.

 ”I suppose you’re right.”

”I’m still embarrassed, though…” Ines admitted.

”You were calling me shy earlier, Ines, but you’re just as bad!” Juliet teased.

”Hmph… What about you, Juliet? Wouldn’t you be embarrassed if everyone knew when you finally did it with him?”

 ”I… I’d be mortified.”

”Hehe, so Juliet-san is finally thinking about it! ♪” Sylvie giggled.

”Wait! Ines, you trapped me! Forget I said that! It doesn’t count!”

Juliet realized she’d been baited into admitting her interest and tried to backpedal frantically.

”I wasn wasn’t trying to trap you… but like I always say, it’ll be fine with Daisuke. I’m rooting for you,” Ines said warmly.

 ”We both are, Juliet-san!”

”I… I guess. …Thanks,” Juliet calmed down, appreciating the support.

 Summary:

Daisuke invites the three members of the Gale Party—Ines, Sylvie, and Juliet—to his home to meet his three slaves, Liese, Camilla, and Ilse. The chapter explores the domestic dynamic between the protagonist’s lovers and his ‘family’ of slaves. Daisuke manages the interactions with a ‘turn-based’ system of affection to ensure no one feels left out. While Daisuke prepares lunch, the women engage in a private ‘girl talk’ to discuss their relationships. The Gale Party members confirm that Daisuke’s slaves are treated with genuine kindness rather than coercion. The discussion ends with the girls bonding over their shared affection and tracking Daisuke’s romantic progress through their keen beastman senses.

 —

 Trivia:

 - Juliet’s ‘mortified’ reaction to doing ‘that’ suggests her tsundere walls are crumbling faster than she admits.

 - The mention of ‘previous life’ habits regarding the bath signals Daisuke’s ease with his isekai status in casual conversation.

 - Ilse’s tracking of ‘scents’ indicates that the slaves are much more aware of Daisuke’s outside romantic activities than he realizes.

 - Liese’s admiration for Daisuke’s ‘overwhelming strength’ hints at her warrior-based loyalty evolving into romantic potential

 —

 Character Insight:

The dynamic shifts from a clear divide between ‘lovers’ and ‘slaves’ to a more unified ‘family’ structure as the Gale Party girls actively encourage the slaves to express their feelings. Ines and Sylvie act as mentors to Juliet and Camilla, bridging the gap between their different social standings.

 —

 Lore And Worldbuilding Context:

The ‘Gray Dragonewt’ race is noted for having significant difficulties with magic aptitude, making Daisuke’s ability to provide them with magic-based convenience (like hot water) highly unusual and prized.

 —

 TL Notes:

The term ‘Amanojaku’ was kept in footnotes as it carries a specific cultural weight for characters who are perverse or intentionally contradictory, fitting the light novel trope better than just ‘stubborn’.
