Volume 5 Chapter 11 The Boss’s Welcome꞉ A Harem’s New Recruit and a Rival’s Explosive Victory
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
Misaki¹ had finished her three weeks of treatments. The change was immediate, and it hit her fast.
”…”
She’d checked every day, wondering when the mole would finally vanish. Today, that day had finally arrived.
”WAAAAAHHHH!”
Misaki burst out in a loud, solitary sob in her room. Her biggest personal complex, the one thing that haunted her, was gone, and her emotion exploded in a wave of overwhelming relief.
Now she could finally wear a swimsuit without a care in the world, and she wouldn’t have to fret during changing rooms anymore. The long-standing problem that had been plaguing her was just gone, and she trembled with the sheer feeling of it.
”I’m so happy… so, so happy! Hirose… Hirose…”
Her gratitude was focused on a single person. Misaki called out Hirose’s name, letting large, chunky tears stream down her face.
That same day, just before homeroom, Misaki called Hirose to the clubroom after his morning practice.
Because he’d just finished practice, the room was thick with the scent of sweat and deodorant. Misaki, who was already in her school uniform, found that the moment she was alone with Hirose, she unleashed an uncontrollable impulse onto him.
”Hirose!” she cried.
”Whoa!”
Just seeing his face made her feelings burst, and she threw herself into a passionate hug.
”It really disappeared! It really, really disappeared! The mole is gone! I’m so happy, so happy, I am!” she wept.
”That’s good. I’m truly happy for you, ne,” Hirose replied, his voice calm and supportive.
”Yes, yes… I don’t feel like myself anymore… it’s going to make me crazy, no,” Misaki insisted.
Misaki then impulsively leaned in and kissed Hirose. He let his shoulders slump and simply accepted the brief, passionate kiss.
”Look at this for me…?” she asked.
Finishing the kiss, Misaki lifted her uniform skirt. A flash of light-blue underwear and tan lines flickered into view. The prominent black mole that used to be right at the top of her thigh was nowhere to be seen, as if it had never existed in the first place.

”That’s incredible. It’s totally clean,” he whispered.
”It’s all thanks to you, Hirose…”
”Yeah…”
”Now I can go into the Inter-High² with all my strength.”
”I’ll be looking forward to it, ne,” he told her.
”…I am absolutely going to beat Lily, no!” Misaki declared with a determined fire.
Her worries were gone. This was her last Inter-High in high school. While there were other tournaments, the disappearance of her mole had given Misaki a fierce, burning resolve.
However, Lily was experiencing a similar change. That was because her debilitating hernia was completely cured.
”I’m rooting for Hayase-san, though. You’re my classmate, after all,” Hirose stated.
”Hehe, thanks. But Lily had her hernia fixed, so she might be even stronger than before, you know,” Misaki commented.
”Even so, please win for me, ne.”
”…Hirose, that’s just cheating! If you say things like that, I have no choice but to win!” Misaki exclaimed.
Misaki hugged Hirose tightly one last time, and then they left for class at different times.
* * *
The Kanto Regional Tournament, Semi-Finals.
Hayase Misaki versus Fukasawa Lily Haruna.
Misaki, who had earned one of the top spots in the prefectural tournament, had advanced to the Kanto Tournament and was now guaranteed to be in the final four. This meant she had finally grabbed a ticket to the National Tournament for the first time. However, Misaki couldn’t celebrate yet. Her next opponent was her destined rival, Lily.
”Misaki, just because you made Nationals, I can’t let you win this one!” Lily shouted.
”Lily… you look like you’re doing great, no. I watched your last match a bit, and your hips are moving so well,” Misaki observed.
”Right?! I absolutely won’t lose, zo!”
”I have to give Hirose a victory present, no!” Misaki shot back.
The two rivals’ gazes collided with a distinct crackle.
And so began the semi-final. The match was pushed all the way to a tie-break³.
”Haah, haah… Lily is still so strong…”
During the bench break, Misaki rehydrated and sent a glance over to Lily, who was also resting.
”…Misaki. You’ve really improved… to push me this far…!” Lily stated, acknowledging Misaki’s strength.
Until now, she had never been pushed this hard. There had always been a noticeable skill gap between them, never a true deadlock. But now, that gap was on the verge of collapsing.
”But I’m the strongest one today, yo. I mean, my back is invincible, zo!” Lily declared.
The two stood up from the benches and headed for the tie-break. The first to seven points would claim the victory.
The game continued until it reached a deuce at six-all. The first player to score two consecutive points would win.
The girls’ shouts echoed across the court. Their absolute will to win spread through the entire venue.
As both were beautiful girls, they were the center of attention, even outside of their tennis skills. Every point scored brought a wave of applause, making the match feel as electrifying as a professional tennis game.
And then—
”Ah… you lost,” Hibiki said softly.
”Yeah…” Hirose replied.
Watching the match from the stands were Hibiki and Hirose. Misaki had specifically asked the two of them to come watch that day. That was why Hirose had brought Hibiki with him.
Misaki returned after the match, and for the first time that day, her face was bright when she met Hirose. She then had her first meeting with Hibiki.
”I lost… I’m sorry. Even though you were cheering for me so much,” Misaki apologized.
”Don’t worry about it. You were awesome. And congratulations on making Nationals,” Hirose said, offering his support.
”Hirose…”
Hearing those words, Misaki’s emotions broke down again. It wasn’t about winning or losing the tennis match; she was crying because she was so happy to hear the words from Hirose.
”S-Sorry… you’re Rindou Hibiki, right?” Misaki stammered.
”Yep. You can just call me Hibiki. I’ll call you Misaki, ne,” Hibiki returned smoothly.
”Oh, thank you…”
Misaki had brought Hibiki here, but now she wasn’t sure how to talk to her.
”U-Um—”
”You’ve fallen for Hirose, haven’t you?” Hibiki cut in.
”Huh?!”
Misaki had intended to start with another apology. But Hibiki’s words interrupted her and hit her with something she hadn’t expected.
”I can tell by looking at your face. It’s not just temporary lust from the treatment, ne,” Hibiki observed with a confident smile.
”Ah… no… I…”
”I won’t give up my main spot⁴. That’s just a given. Besides, there are tons of girls who like Hirose,” Hibiki stated flatly.
”I guess so…”
She was speaking the truth. The number of people Hirose had treated with his Gift could no longer be counted on the fingers of both hands. And with every treatment, the number of people who harbored feelings for Hirose only grew.
But Hibiki was the Boss⁵. She had accepted Hirose’s Gift and was currently sharing its benefits with her subordinates.
”If you’re okay with that—then let’s all make Hirose happy together, ne.”
”Eh?”
”Lately, Hirose has had a very high libido⁶. We can’t handle him by ourselves. So, you have to give him a change of flavor sometimes,” Hibiki explained.
”Uh…”
”Hehe, I’m fine with you having intimate moments or dates with Hirose. I just don’t even know what number you’ll be on the list, Misaki-chan!” Hibiki chuckled.
”Haha, ahahaha…”
Misaki managed a strained laugh. Aside from his main girlfriend, Hirose had multiple partners who he was currently intimate with. This was the first time Misaki had ever been made aware of this fact.
Normally, she would have thought this was bizarre. But after learning about the Gift, understanding Hirose’s character, and meeting Hibiki, the generous Boss, her love was just starting to take root, and Misaki was caught in a strange sensation.
”You know, Hirose somehow only attracts people who have never had a boyfriend before. So, once it happens, they can’t see anyone else but Hirose. Just be prepared for that, ne,” Hibiki warned.
”Uh… okay,” Misaki replied.
”If you’d like, I can introduce you to my friends who also like Hirose next time.”
”…Yes! I’d really like that! They were all people who were dealing with some kind of trouble, weren’t they?”
”That’s right. I don’t know what your problem was, Misaki-chan, but the others are all the same. They had painful, impossible problems that they couldn’t tell anyone. And the special power of Hirose was the one who solved them… it makes sense that you’d fall in love with him, ne.”
Misaki nodded at Hibiki’s words over and over. The two girls shook hands, and one more new girl was added to Hirose’s harem⁷.
That day, it was Lily who won the Kanto Tournament with great style. After beating Misaki in the tie-break, she crushed her opponent in the finals without letting them score almost any points. Lily’s skill, now that her hips were fully healed, was truly astounding.
”Hirose! Ugh!”
Lily, holding her championship trophy, spotted Hirose and tried to leap into his arms. But Misaki stopped her.
”You have his girlfriend, Hibiki, right there! Idiot!” Misaki scolded.
”Ow! That hurts!” Lily complained.
”Hmm. So, this is Lily,” Hibiki noted.
Hibiki’s attitude was completely different from how she had just treated Misaki. Her demeanor was truly that of The Boss.
”Um… I’m Fukasawa Lily Haruna!” she introduced herself nervously.
”I’ve heard all about you, ne. The girl who’s said to be so athletic that she’s like an animal in the bedroom,” Hibiki countered.
”What?!”
This was still a tennis venue. Lily was flustered, not expecting them to talk about intimate things in a place like this.
”I’ve also heard all about your weakness. So, you see—”
Lily swallowed hard, taking a sharp breath.
”Once you’ve calmed down, we’ll all go to a hotel, and I’ll make Lily feel good⁸,” Hibiki purred, licking her tongue over her lips as if sizing Lily up, all while wrapping her arm around Hirose’s.
”Misaki! Hibiki is bullying me! Help!” Lily wailed.
”Hey, what are you doing? Don’t cling to me!” Misaki protested.
”But she is!”
Lily latched onto Misaki’s arm, clearly intimidated by Hibiki. Seeing the real girlfriend seemed to keep her from acting too boldly.
”Hehe, this is going to be fun, ne, Lily?” Hibiki stated, a gleam in her eye.
”Y-Yes, Boss!”
With that, Lily, at least verbally, accepted Hibiki as the Boss.
And so, the burdens Misaki and Lily carried were safely lifted, and they both returned to their practice, looking forward to the National Tournament.

Summary:
Misaki’s lifelong complex—a prominent mole—is finally cured by Hirose’s powerful Gift, leading to a burst of emotional devotion and a passionate embrace in the clubroom. She loses the semi-final against the now-cured Lily, but her pain is swept away by Hirose’s comforting words. The powerful ‘Boss,’ Hibiki, confronts Misaki and Lily, welcoming both rivals into the ever-expanding harem as new partners to help satisfy Hirose’s increasingly high libido, establishing her dominance while accepting their love.
—
Character Insight:
Misaki’s emotional intensity is a direct result of her shame being erased, turning her self-consciousness into a passionate, single-minded love for Hirose. Lily’s initial aggressive love is quickly subdued by Hibiki, showing that while they are rivals in sport, they are subordinates in the harem’s hierarchy.
—
Behind the Scene:
The ‘Gift’ not only cures the physical ailment (mole, hernia) but also rewires the recipient’s emotional state, creating an intense dependency and love for Hirose. Hibiki, as the ‘Boss,’ understands this effect and actively manages the complex social dynamics of the harem, prioritizing Hirose’s happiness and the group’s cohesion over conventional morality.
