Beyond Abyss 40

Chapter 40 Infiltration! Demiurge’S Hideout

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

After the meeting ended, Kanon returned to the classroom. Himeno and Higurashi seemed to be busy studying for a quiz, discussing until the last minute. Higurashi created several conversation patterns and they practiced interview-like exercises based on them. Himeno seemed to trust Higurashi completely.

As for me, I sat in a large laundry basket.

The maid attendants were giggling as they stuffed towels into the basket, burying me up to my neck in towels.

”Oh, it’s like you’re being publicly shamed.”

 Higurashi remarked, crossing her arms.

Then, they covered my head with towels and the maids lifted the basket together.

”Alright, we’re counting on you guys.”

 ”Yes, leave it to us!”

Gil-san spoke, and the maids cheerfully responded. They carried me to the boys’ dormitory building B, chanting “One, two” as they went. The towel they put over me was messy, so my face could be seen through the gaps. Luckily, there weren’t many people around because classes were still going on, but a girl passing by in the lobby noticed us and froze, looking amazed.

We reached the boys’ dormitory building B on the main street after leaving the school gate. Upon entering the entrance hall, I saw a cool-looking blond guy, the dorm manager, sitting at the reception desk.

As we passed by the reception, the dorm manager glanced sharply at me, but when our eyes met, he quickly looked away with a disgusted expression. It seemed like he would let it slide because of Gil-san’s recommendation.

I were then carried to the bathhouse and set down.

”Well then, Takeru-kun, see you later. Good luck~.”

 ”Yes, thank you very much.”

The busy maids waved goodbye with smiles as they left.

Alright, there’s still plenty of time before the promised time.

Maybe I’ll take a quick bath for now.

”Hey, Iwakura. Did you hear about our squad getting taken down in the second-year classroom yesterday?”

A deep voice, sounding like it’s coming from Kibakura-san’s stomach, echoed.

”I heard. It was Doi-san’s group, right?”

”Yeah, and now it seems like other classrooms are starting to resist too. Demiurge (us) got underestimated as well.”

”It’s tough when the whole classroom resists against a squad. It might be best to take down those who did it as a warning, don’t you think?”

”That’s Doi’s job, but what do you think? Can he handle it?”

What’s that supposed to mean? Why would you ask me something like that, Kibakura-san? I don’t think Doi is particularly strong, but he’s feared for being ruthless. He should be fine as a squad leader.

”I don’t know what kind of idiot he is, but if it’s the squad, there shouldn’t be a problem.”

”That idiot seems to be beaten by a kid named Tsuchimiya.”

 ”!?”

Tsuchimiya!? Are you kidding? That can’t be right! He should’ve died in that first dive!

”I didn’t recognize his face. It seems like that kid came back a week after the first dive.”

 ”What!? A… a week? That’s crazy talk…”

”But he’s actually walking around the school. So, what kind of guy is Tsuchimiya?”

Memories from a year ago flash through my mind, and a cold sweat breaks out.

”Th-that… that’s… a monster. He looks like a normal person, but he’s something else. It doesn’t seem like he’s the same kind of creature as us. He’s not just strong… his thought process is fundamentally messed up, and it doesn’t make any sense. Yet, his brain works creepily well. If he’s really alive, saying something like ‘it’s better to kill them quickly’ is too soft. It’s better to get rid of him ASAP.”

 ”Hmph, I see.”

When Kibakura-san heard that, he stood up slowly.

 So huge…

He was already big before, but since coming here, he’s definitely grown even bigger. Is he over two meters tall now? He said it’s because of his family’s traits…

Feeling intimidated, I swallowed nervously. He didn’t seem like the same person anymore.

”If Doi messes up, then it’s up to Iwakura next.”

”Y-yes! I was already planning to take care of that guy.”

When I answered, Kibakura-san nodded, looking satisfied.

”That’s all. You can go now.”

 ”Yes, understood.”

I stood up and left the special room.

Tsuchimiya… He’s still alive, huh? I couldn’t believe it when they said he died so easily. Doi-san probably messed up. Then, how should I kill him? If I’m going to kill him, it has to be in the dungeon, of course. Right now, I’m confident I can kill him if I have the right gift, but I’m not going to let my guard down against him. I need to create a situation where I can definitely win. Maybe I should send a few sacrificial pawns and see how it goes… No… I remember that thing. When dealing with monsters, it’s best to throw another monster at them…!

It seems like the opportunity for revenge is coming. Without realizing it, a grin spread across my face.

When the fourth period class ends, everyone starts moving at once. Some people gather for parties, while others quickly leave the classroom to go to the cafeteria. After putting away my study materials in my bag, I sit at my desk and absentmindedly stare at the entrance.

After a while, Himeno-san comes in and walks over to my desk.

 ”Kanon-chan!”

Himeno-san, who greeted me with a smile, seems to sparkle like a fairy.

She’s so strong and beautiful, I can’t help but wonder why such an amazing person would be so kind to a clumsy kid like me.

 ”Himeno-san…”

As I stand up and sling my bag over my shoulder, Himeno-san gives me a reassuring hug.

 ”Let’s go.”

 ”Yeah!”

We’re headed to the boys’ dorm to meet Iwakura-senpai.

I’m nervous and excited, but I’m not scared at all. Himeno-san is with me, and Higurashi-san is waiting outside the dorm. Plus, Tsuchimiya-senpai is nearby. I feel so supported.

I decided to get Njorn-chan back and break ties with Iwakura-senpai and his friends. It felt like the right thing to do.

When I cling to Himeno-san’s arm, she smiles warmly at me, looking happy.

As we leave the classroom, Hanamaki-san (Midori?) and her group bow deeply to us. Himeno-san smiles and nods back. Hanamaki-san seems tough, but it turns out she knows Himeno-san.

 ”Extra! Extra!”

On our way to the school gate, members of the newspaper club are handing out extras. I take one, and it reads, ‘Mysterious Person Kamen Papillon Appears!’

It’s probably about that weird person at the school gate this morning. I was so fascinated by Tsuchimiya-senpai that I didn’t pay much attention then. I decide to read it later and put it in my bag. A little later, Higurashi-san, leaning against the boys’ dorm wall, lifts his face briefly and gives me a wink.

As I stepped out onto the main street, I saw Higurashi-san leaning against the wall of the boys’ dorm, reading an extra edition newspaper.

She glanced up and gave me a nod. Leading Himeno-san, we entered through the gate of the boys’ dorm. Thanks to various girls coming and going and the dorm manager putting in a good word, Himeno-san didn’t get in trouble.

In the lobby, Yamagiwa-senpai, who was at the forefront of the party, was standing. When he spotted me, he approached.

”Hey, Watarase. You’re early today, aren’t you? Huh? Who’s that girl… Asagiri Himeno!?”

Himeno-san’s face was probably known to most of the male students.

 ”I’m Watarase-san’s friend. Today, I’m accompanying her.”

 Himeno-san smiled calmly.

”Hehe… Sounds good. Come on then, follow me.”

Yamagiwa-senpai grinned and then turned his back, walking towards the stairs. As we passed the second floor and reached the third floor, we continued down the hallway.

I’ve never been to this place before, so I haven’t told Tsuchimiya-senpai about it. I started to feel a little anxious.

Then Himeno-san walked up beside me and put her hand on my shoulder.

Yamagiwa-senpai opened the double doors at the corner of the hallway labeled ‘Discussion Room’ and went inside.

The room was bright with light streaming in through large glass windows. On the back wall, there was a large monitor, and magazine racks were stuffed with magazines and newspapers. To the immediate right upon entering was a small counter with a sink, refrigerator, and coffee maker.

Several small white tables were arranged throughout the spacious room, and more than ten party members were seated wherever they pleased.

At the back table sat Iwakura-senpai, a big-built guy, and on the table was a fairy cage. Inside the cage, there was a small, pure white snake flapping its tiny wings.

 ”Njorn-chan!”

 ’Kanon!’

When called, Njorn-chan responded with a voice that sounded like she was about to cry.

”Watarase and… is that Asagiri Himeno? What’s going on here, huh? Did you talk about this guy?”

”Today, I came to buy Njorn-chan!”

 ”Huh? What do you mean?”

As I declared, Iwakura-senpai furrowed his brow, looking puzzled.

”Watarase-san made a promise to form a party with me. Since I don’t want her to be tied down, I’m getting money from the party funds.”

”Oh… that’s bold. Alright, it’s 3 million. You can pay, right?”

 ”Wait, what!? 3 million, seriously?”

”Okay, I got it. 3 million then. I’ll buy it at that price. So, let’s do the transfer at the buying counter.”

When Himeno-san calmly replied, Iwakura-senpai looked irritated.

”Tch! …I’ve decided not to sell after all. Asagiri, if you want to join our party, I’ll give this to you.”

”Sorry, but I can’t accept that. I checked with the school management committee, and officially, Njorn-chan belongs to Watarase-san. I’ve been quite accommodating, but it’s best not to complicate things further.”

 ”What? What do you mean?”

 ”Do you know Watarase-san’s class?”

 ”…She’s a Magician, right?”

”No, Watarase-san leveled up and changed her class to ‘Beast Tamer.’”

 ”A Beast Tamer?”

”We haven’t learned about it in class yet, but you can find out in the library. Skilled beast tamers can summon and control familiars. Njorn-chan must be Watarase-san’s familiar. I checked all the books, even the ones on the 2nd floor monster section, but there’s no mention of Njorn-chan. I think if we take it to the appraisal counter, they can confirm it. Shouldn’t we just settle for three million? It would be a clean break for both sides.”

 ”Fuck…!”

Iwakura-senpai was jiggling with blue streaks, but he suddenly stood up, grabbed a fairy birdcage, and threw it at me.

 ”Aaah!?”

 ’Wow!’

I manage to catch the birdcage with my whole body.

”I don’t need that anymore! Do what you like!”

So, when Iwakura-senpai shouted, he kicked over the table. The white table flew in front of us, and we instinctively stepped back.

”But hey, you two girls just waltzed into the boys’ dorm, thinking you can leave just like that for free?”

When Iwakura-senpai said that, the party members stood up and surrounded us.

* * *

 ”Phew…”

I sank into the comfy chair, sipping on my second glass of coffee milk, just chilling out.

The hot water had been drained from the big tub, so I settled for a shower, no big deal.

My phone buzzed, a message from Higurashi. Seems like Himeno and the others entered the boys’ dorm.

I finished my coffee milk, stood up, and buttoned my shirt. I was all set.

Opening the map, the green marker pointing to Asagiri moved toward the stairs.

Once I left the bathhouse, I didn’t head towards the hall but instead went up to the 2nd floor using the nearby staircase.

When I checked the map, there was no sign of Asagiri. Had they moved to the upper floor?

After a little thought, I decided to quickly check Iwakura’s room and the reception area. There was a chance that Njorn, whoever that was, might be placed there. I heard Kanon was really worried the day before because she couldn’t meet Njorn.

First, I moved through the hallway to find Iwakura’s room. I think it was room 224. Compared to Building C, this one was much bigger and fancier. But for me, that slightly run-down atmosphere felt more comfortable.

I quickly found the room I was looking for, but when I tried to turn the doorknob, it was locked.

Well, it’s better not to force it open. It would be a hassle if I got caught causing a scene.

I retraced my steps in the hallway and went towards the corner room further down the hallway.

The plate on the door said ‘reception room’ written by hand, but judging by its location, it was probably originally a lounge.

Only one side of the double doors of the reception room opened. I quietly pushed it open. Inside, the lights were off, and thick curtains were drawn, making it dim.

Tables were pushed to the side, and there were several futons laid out in the large room, where girls were sleeping in various positions, snoring softly.

Externally, it’s a reception room, but it seems to be used for various purposes.

I entered the room quietly, trying not to wake anyone, and quickly looked around. I couldn’t find anything resembling a birdcage.

I didn’t need to be here anymore. Should I head to the 3rd floor? Just as I thought that…

”Ah, Tsuchimiya-kun. Could it be that you came to see me?”

I was suddenly hugged from behind and whispered into.

 ”Woah!?!”

I didn’t sense anything! Even after living in a dungeon, my senses should have become quite sharp by now!

”Hehe. You couldn’t hold back anymore, could you?”

 ”Uhh… ah…”

My chest was lightly caressed with fingertips, causing a tingling sensation to run through me.

This feeling, along with her sultry voice…

”S-Shitone-senpai, I actually came here today because I had some business.”

 ”Oh really? Is that so?”

Shitone-senpai immediately stopped moving and spoke in a surprised tone, but then she quickly wrapped her left arm around my waist and tightly embraced me while pressing her voluptuous body against mine. She began fondling my nipples over my shirt, causing my whole body to tremble.

Darn! It would be terrible if I got caught up in this right now! I need to keep my composure!

”Hmm. Do you have any business here where Iwakura-kun is? And why are you peeking around here anyway?”

 ”Eek!”

Suddenly, Shitone-senpai grabs my thigh and slowly starts stroking it. Even through my pants, her warm and soft fingers stick right onto my skin, sending tingles down my leg. It feels like electricity flowing from the tips of her fingers, causing my knees to tremble.

This feeling is different from the pleasure brought about by Himeno’s ultimate technique using Divine Craftman Ring. Moreover, Shitone-senpai’s techniques are quite impressive too.

 ”Ugh…ah…”

My lower half quickly becomes er**t, and every time she firmly rubs against it with her fingers, waves of intense pleasure shoot up my spine, making me squirm.

”Be quiet, or everyone will wake up.”

 ”Ugh! …! …!!”

When she presses her lips against my ear and whispers, a sweet voice echoes in my head. A honey-like scent, thick and suffocating, fills your senses, corrupting your thoughts.

”Hey… How many times have you mast***ed thinking about me since then? Haven’t kept count, huh?”

 ”I… haven’t done it even once… nnngh!”

Shitone-senpai strokes my gl**s’s shell with her thumb and index finger, moving them back and forth repeatedly.

”Hmph. There’s no need to hold back now. You can’t stand just imagining it anymore, right? Hey, how many times?”

Shitone-senpai wraps her palm around my lower body, squeezing gently yet firmly.

 ”Ughh~! …se… Senpai, it’s too extravagant for someone like me; I must decline… politely…”

 ”……….”

As I respond, I sense Shitone-senpai staring intently at me with a sideways glance.

 ”Wow… You’re really enduring it. Alright then…”

Shitone-senpai placed hands on my shoulders and turned me around. In front of me stood Shitone-senpai, dressed in black underwear. Behind those glasses, their eyes, seemingly kind, hid a gleeful madness.

”Carve deeper into me. Now, let’s play here… huh?”

As Shitone-senpai tried to pull me closer by wrapping her arm around my neck, she suddenly relaxed her entire body. I collapsed like a broken puppet, slipping through Shitone-senpai’s grasp.

As I crouched down and placed both my hands on the floor, I quietly moved behind Shitone-senpai. Then, grabbing Shitone-senpai’s ankle with one hand and pushing against her back with the other, I stood up. Shitone-senpai’s large butt collided with a thud into my shoulder.

 ”Aaahh!?!”

Startled, Shitone-senpai fell to the ground with a loud noise. However, instead of trying to catch her, I felt relieved seeing Shitone-senpai falling in such a clumsy way, reminding her of just a regular girl.

 ”I’m sorry, Shitone-senpai!”

 ”W-wait a minute!”

Apologizing, I made my escape towards the exit while Shitone-senpai frantically tried to get up.

 ”Super glue!”

Tina quickly raised her right hand and there appeared some instant adhesive in her palm.

The jumbo-sized quick adhesive gel I bought at the store for Kondou Spear maintenance worked like a charm. Worried about the tie’s decorative fabric changing and the joint at the tip, I applied plenty of it to the knife and stick joint. Perfect!

As I rushed towards the exit, I squeezed out the contents of the container from the hinges to the edges of the door, then swiftly shut it, bursting into the corridor.

Immediately, the door began to rattle. Panicking, I glanced around and noticed the elevator nearby stopped on the second floor, so I pressed the button. Slipping into the open doors, I hit the button for the top floor, the fourth.

While passing the third floor, I checked the map and saw that Himeno seemed to be cornered in the corner of the room, engaged in combat in the adjacent lounge.

I had hoped to running into Iwakura on the fourth floor, but that plan failed!

Impatiently waiting for the doors to open, I darted into the hallway and aimed for the nearby staircase, turning the corner.

Suddenly, a gigantic figure loomed before me.

 Wow, big!

He seems to be over 2m tall (6.5ft). And all muscular, he could probably crush a wrestler around here. The school-designated cutter shirt, with the sleeves cut off, is wide open because he can’t button it up. His tough face, like a rock perched on a huge chest, is glaring down at me from above.

”What’s up, you bastard? Shouldn’t non-executives be banned from here?”

His deep voice echoes fiercely. What an intimidating presence. Is this guy a student?

”Sorry, I was looking for the restroom and got lost.”

”You bastard look clueless. What’s your name?”

 Are my words getting through?

”Uh, I’m Tsuchimiya. Sorry, I’m about to leak so I’m going to go.”

But the giant in front of me doesn’t budge at all.

”This is really urgent! Can I do it here? It’s the larger one!”

”Hmm, so you’re Tsuchimiya… Small world, huh?”

After saying that, the big guy raised his right hand high.

 ”Huh?”

Suddenly, a huge golden club appeared in the hand he raised, the kind that red and blue oni might carry, all spiky and scary.

I instinctively jumped back, but the attack range reached all the way to the wall behind me.

With incredible speed, he swung the club, making a loud crashing sound as it hit.

The wall collapsed, and the door to the conference room blew off.

Dodging while crouching, I saw the muscles of the big guy bulging, so I leaped over the wall at waist height and dove headfirst into the conference room.

My Title and Skills activated, and I got into a fighting stance. Tina seemed to sense danger.

With another strike, the remaining wall was blown away, and the big guy entered the common room, wielding the club, chasing after me.

This guy’s insane! He’s trying to kill me out of nowhere!

”Tsuchimiya, looks like you’re getting really h**ny.”

Who are you to say that! I don’t remember doing anything!

”I heard you suddenly broke three of Tsukamoto’s fingers and tried to laugh and cover it up?”

Who is Tsukamoto? …Oh, do you mean that person similar to Iwakura’s apprentice? That was just an unfortunate event caused by bad luck. I didn’t do anything wrong. Besides, that incident happened a long time ago.

”Hey, would you like to become part of Demiurge? We can offer you great benefits if you join us.”

”Please don’t joke about something like that.”

First of all, its name is bad. Actually, everything else is bad too.

”That’s too bad. Well, I have no choice but to kill you.”

 Too extreme!

Thump, thump, the big guy walking towards me barefooted, looked pitiful because he had such big feet that finding appropriate shoes or sandals seemed impossible.

He casually kicked away some garbage nearby with his foot, and the big guy stepped on it without even flinching.

When I stepped forward, the big man stopped moving.

”Huh? Interestingly enough, you appeared er**t in this tense atmosphere. Actually, I’m er**t too.”

The big guylaughed boisterously and his crotch bulged like a PET bottle.

It’s not sympathy I’m feeling towards his crotch! This is all Shitone-senpai’s fault. I just want to stop hanging out with perverts.

But seriously, what a terrible face he’s making. There’s no doubt this will become another page in my dark history.

”Well then, go ahead and become a stain on the floor!”

The big guy raised his golden club. As I circled around him to his right while extending my hand horizontally, the Kondo Spear appeared in my hand. Just as expected from Tina-san, she knows her stuff.

The big guy raises a metal club. As he tries to respond to my movements, he loses his balance as if he got caught on something.

Of course, it’s the trash he crushed just now, it’s a container of instant glue!

I thrust the Kondou Spear towards his immobile left foot, feeling a resistance and piercing something hard.

 The tip only went halfway.

This feeling is a defensive barrier! It’s probably at least a +3, like a mutated Owlbear.

 ”You little brat!!”

When the big guy shouted angrily, his left foot moved with a sharp sound. Seriously!

To escape the intense aura that swelled up as if it were about to explode, I quickly moved back with all my might. Then, at the spot where I had been standing, a metal club was swung at such a speed that I couldn’t even see it.

Boom! It sounded like a heavy machine hitting, and the floor shattered into pieces like a shotgun, hitting me.

My defensive barrier mostly blocked it, but it still hurt quite a bit.

As I landed, my feet wobbled, giving me a sensation of floating. The floor had collapsed.

With the crumbling floor, I put one hand down and landed in the room below.

He’s a real monster, this guy.

 ”Tsuchimiya-senpaii!?”

”Tsuchimiya… it’s Tsuchimiya? You bastard are Tsuchimiya?!”

Himeno’s surprised voice greeted me in the collapsed floor.

 ”Sorry, I’m late.”

I got up while checking the situation.

In the middle of the room, about three people are lying down, having been hit hard by a large concrete block. Near the entrance, Himeno is holding a wooden stick, with Kanon holding a birdcage behind her. There are two men on the ground in front of them, probably struggling to attack Kanon and unable to move quickly. There are still about four people surrounding Himeno and the others.

And right in front of me, at the back of the room, is a big guy I recognize, who seems even bigger than I remember.

”Iwakura… That kid seems like trouble. Let’s take care of him right here.”

 ”Kibakura-san!?”

A big guy from the upper room is looking down at us. So, his name is Kibakura. He seems like the boss around here.

Iwakura turns towards us, holding a black battle axe decorated with silver.

When he notices the Kondou Spear in my hand, he smirks.

”What’s that, a toy? This might be our chance.”

Then, he lifted his battle-axe, getting ready to swing.

”Those people on the management committee are strangely lenient. If I just injure someone, the worst I’ll get is maybe two months in jail.”

According to Higurashi, no murders have happened yet, but even if you seriously injure someone in a fight, the least penalty is a week in jail and a fine.

”Two months seems long. If it’s self-defense, there might be no jail time, right?”

”Don’t act so relaxed. Do you really think you can block my ‘Corpse Dragon Battle Axe’ with that stick of yours? I’ll show you my special move.”

Iwakura’s battle-axe started crackling with dark electricity-like energy.

Is that a skill? No, it’s probably the axe’s ability! Items with special abilities don’t seem to have restrictions.

”If there’s no body left, maybe I’ll just get a warning! Disappear! Black Thunder Decay Claw!”

 ”Azure Thunder Fang!”

Axe swung down with a scary sound, surrounded by black lightning, met by Kondou Spear wrapped in blue lightning.

 Clanggg! Zzzzz!

Black and blue clashed, struggling against each other. But black lightning began to overwhelm the blue lightning.

Oh no! Is the other side’s skill just stronger?!

Then, Kondou Spear started vibrating with a high-pitched sound like a motor.

 Buzzzzz!

As black lightning seemed to be sucked into Kondou Spear’s tip, Bang! The black and blue lightning burst with a sound.

The shockwave shattered the glass window, screams mixing.

I and Iwakura were thrown back, glaring at each other five meters apart.

 ”Wha… what’s with that toy!?”

 ”It’s not a toy… It’s Kondou Spear!!”

With reinforcement maintenance completed, there’s no blind spot for Kondou Spear.

”It’s Kondou Spear!? Damn it, what a joke!!”

When Iwakura tried to get closer with a battle axe in hand, something flew in from the big window that was missing glass and landed with a thud between me and Iwakura.

Suddenly, there were deafening consecutive explosions.

 These must be firecrackers!

I stayed ready while searching for any signs around us. Iwakura was also cautious and got into a defensive stance.

As the firecrackers stopped, the air between me and Iwakura became tense.

Just as I was about to use my reach to make the first move and lowered my hips, the door to the lounge was forcefully pushed open.

In the next moment, Iwakura and I were hit with a strong impact from the side and slammed together against the wall.

”Cut it out already! You little troublemakers! Don’t cause any more ruckus in My dorm!”

Standing there was the dorm manager, veins popping on his forehead. It seems like he had finally reached his limit

Before I knew it, Kondou Spear was gone, and I found myself holding just a wooden stick in my hand. It seemed like Tina had thought ahead for me.

When I glanced up at the ceiling, I couldn’t see Kibakura anywhere.

”Everyone, drop your weapons! If you resist, you’ll be expelled from the dorm and sent to solitary confinement!”

Hearing this, Iwakura sighed and placed his battle axe at his feet. The others quietly followed suit.

Suddenly, a figure jumped into the room through the window.

”I’m Kamen Papillon! That’s enough, Demiurge! I won’t let you do as you please!”

Kamen Papillon landed with a twist and struck a pose, extending one hand.

 ”…”

 An indescribable silence fell.

 ”Ugh!”

Kamen Papillon seemed to sense the tension in the air and began to back away slowly.

”Oops, I almost forgot about ordering Uber Eats! Well then, see ya!”

Kamen Papillon waved her hand and gracefully disappeared out the window.

 ”…”

After a long silence, the dorm manager, who had been frozen, started moving.

”You guys… You really caused quite a scene for a practice for the school play! Weapons confiscated for a week, no going out today and tomorrow! Don’t touch any of the debris. The repair team will come later to fix everything.”

Even though he’s keeping calm, I can tell he’s really mad. If it were Gil-san, he might have chopped off a few heads.

 ”Tsuchimiya-senpai!”

Himeno and Kanon ran over. Then the dorm manager approached us too.

”You guys… caused trouble for our dorm residents. This time… this time only, there won’t be any punishment. Just this time, okay?”

The dorm manager said firmly, “I’ll start collecting weapons.”

”Thank you. Oh, here’s a wooden stick for you, you can use it as a clothesline pole or something.”

”Don’t need it! Take it back! And get out of here!”

Even though I meant well, it seemed like I rubbed him the wrong way.

 Anyway, we successfully retrieved Njorn-chan.

We left the room after bowing to the dorm manager.

As we left Building B of the boys’ dorm, there was quite a crowd gathered.

As we made our way through, giving vague answers to the newspaper club’s questions, Higurashi stood there with an innocent expression.

”It seems like everything went well.”

 ”Yeah, thanks to your help.”

 ”Asuka-chan!”

And the four of us walked together back to the girls’ dorm in Building C.
