The next day, Manami finished making lunch, stopped by her parents’ house, and headed off to driving school. I took Bogie¹ for a brisk walk before settling into my room to study. I used to hit the books in the living room, but ever since we bought that game console, Manami has been hogging it. My study sanctuary had to move.
Before noon, a message buzzed from Yuzuki. She wanted to come over. I told her anytime after one would work. I was just finishing lunch and relaxing when she arrived.
”Did something happen?” I asked.
”I didn’t give you a Christmas present yesterday…” she murmured.
”I thought I said I didn’t need one,” I replied. We had agreed on a three thousand yen limit for the party, and knowing a high schooler’s allowance, I’d already decided I didn’t want her spending money on me.
”Even so, I’m just so grateful to you, Hiro-kun. I want to give you something. Is that bad?”
”If you’re that insistent, I’ll accept it.”
”Not here…” she whispered, her eyes darting around.
”Shall we go to my room?” I suggested. It was the first time I’d ever led Yuzuki into my private space. She looked around with wide, curious eyes, taking in the sight of a boy’s room like it was an alien planet.
”Um… I want you to take off your clothes and lie on the bed,” she said, her voice trembling slightly. I questioned the connection to a gift, and her face turned bright red. “Um… my… first time… doing this… is your present.”
My heart gave a heavy thump. I stripped down and lay back. She climbed onto the bed, her hands small and warm as she reached out. She looked at me with those upturned eyes, her effort clear as she focused on her ‘gift.’ At first, she was hesitant, but she soon grew bolder, her tongue moving with more confidence. Every touch felt like a spark of electricity shooting through me.
”Yuzuki, that feels amazing,” I gasped. She looked happy, red-faced and determined. Eventually, the sensation built until I couldn’t hold back, and I finished right there. She coughed a little, and I quickly grabbed some tissues for her.

I couldn’t say no to that look. She shed her clothes and jumped into my arms. This time, it was my turn to make her feel good. We moved together, the air in the room growing heavy and warm. Despite her taking a Birth Control Pill², I reached for a condom. I wanted to be careful, even if she seemed disappointed for a second.
As we moved, she gripped my shoulders, her breath hitching. She was still getting used to me, her body tense at first, but she soon began to sway her hips, asking for more. The pace quickened, the rhythm of our bodies matching the frantic beating of my heart. Suddenly, she arched her back, a soft cry escaping her lips as she reached her peak.
”What was that…?” she asked breathlessly once she calmed down.
”I think you just went over the edge,” I whispered. She smiled brilliantly. “Thank you for letting me go there, Hiro-kun. Thank you for the late Christmas present.”
After a quick shower, she headed home. By evening, Manami returned, her intuition as sharp as ever. “Did someone come over?”
”Yuzuki came by to say thanks for yesterday,” I said as casually as possible. Manami just gave a simple nod. She was almost too cool about it.
