”A little.” Basara Toujou admitted honestly, “But I don’t intend to get a girlfriend until I rescue my mother.”
Since learning his family line and knowing that enemies were watching from the shadows, Basara Toujou had stopped running. He had been training actively during this period, striving to overcome his inner conflicts. As a [Mixed-blood] child of destiny among the four clans, his strength had risen rapidly once he got serious. At this point, his combat skill alone was at the [SS-Rank], and with the [ability] of [Banishing Shift], he could even hold his ground against a weaker [Demon King-class] opponent like Kokabiel.
However, this level of power was still a bit short for taking down Zolgear, let alone rescuing his mother from the [God-faction], Aeva.

”Hey, hey, judging by your names, are you sisters?” A bubbly girl in the class couldn’t hold back her curiosity and asked.
”Yes, Kurumi is my younger sister.”
”Eh? If that’s the case, why are your hair colors different, and why are you in the same grade?”
Nonaka Yuki’s eyes stayed cold, and she tossed out a few excuses to brush it off. They hadn’t come here to attend school, nor were they there to make friends; they were there to complete the village’s mission.
Kalawarner didn’t rush the lesson, giving everyone ten minutes to get to know the new [classmates] before pointing to the empty space to Aki’s right. “You two sit there for now. Uesugi and Toujou, you go move two sets of desks and chairs from the empty classroom.”
”Yes.” Aki and Basara replied together.
Aki stood up, suddenly noticing the serious and heavy expression on Basara Toujou’s face.
Hm? Is that really the look one gives upon seeing a childhood friend?
Puzzled, he turned his focus back to the Nonaka sisters and realized something seemed off. Basara Toujou was sitting in front of Aki; he had previously assumed the two sisters’ gazes were directed at him. Now, as he moved, he realized they seemed to have been watching him the entire time.
