Chapter 409 The Brand-New Status Panel
Edited by: Kanaa-senpai
Thankfully, the surging energy dissipated quickly, and the sky returned to its usual calm.
In truth, Aki was still in the midst of his Breaching. A massive vortex of energy continued funneling into his body, helping him complete the second qualitative transformation of his life.
However, the energy had been deliberately suppressed by the special magic circles within the cultivation chamber.
Grayfia stood guard at the chamber’s entrance, her beautiful eyes shimmering like pools of water as she watched the tall figure enveloped in the energy vortex. A thousand thoughts raced through her mind.
She felt envy that Aki had reached such heights in less than two years of cultivation, regret over her own inability to break through, and above all—a growing sense of rebellion that she could no longer suppress.
Time passed slowly. When the last wisp of energy seeped into Aki’s body, this Breaching was finally complete.
Feeling the great power now inside him, Aki was thrilled. This breakthrough had not only broken the last pieces of his Heart Demon and raised him to God-tier—it had also pushed his Martial Way directly into the Immortal Path.
As he became a God-tier powerhouse, his Status Page transformed as well.
It seemed that as his power grew, the Status Page continued to optimize itself alongside him.
Or perhaps, the Status Page had always been a unique soul Talent of his—just never fully appeared due to the circumstances of his reincarnation. Only as his power and soul strengthened had it gradually awakened and revealed itself. Now, after the qualitative transformation of his soul’s rise, it had finally evolved to its full form.
Name: Suu Aki
Realm: Lesser God, Heavenly Immortal
Passive: Primordial Bloodline (Sealed), Weapon Grandmaster, Body Arts God, Dual Cultivation
Active: Lightning Strike, Power of Destruction, Radiance of Life, Matter Manipulation, Mind Manipulation, Mustard Seed Space, Sketching (Intermediate)…
Weapons: Boosted Gear
Compared to its previous iteration, the Status Page was now far cleaner and clearer—yet its functionality was far more powerful.
First, the realm was clearly displayed, and weapons bound by Soul Contract could now be shown.
Second, the star symbol that had once appeared after his name was gone. Dual Cultivation Ability had become a permanent passive skill embedded in his body.
Weapon Master had also evolved into Grandmaster alongside his power growth. The same was true for his Body Arts—once at the Grandmaster level, now raised to Body Arts God.
Primordial Bloodline was the result of all of Aki’s bloodlines fusing together. Body Arts God was the result of Mirror Reflection, Combat Intuition, and other close-combat talents merging.
Weapon Grandmaster was obvious—naturally, it was formed from fusing Kendo Mastery, Spearmanship Mastery, and similar weapon skills. However, having yet to master any particularly special weapon talents, he still had a way to go before reaching Weapon God.
One day, when Aki had trained even the Power of Destruction and his other powerful magic talents to the level of instinct, they could also be combined into a permanent passive skill… Magic God.
Actually, Aki thought “Grand Caster” had a nice ring to it as well, but for how it looked, he decided to stick with Magic God.
If he also trained ordinary skills like Sketching, cooking, and driving to a very high level, the Status Page could combine them all into a permanent passive skill for everyday life.
Or rather, they would become Laws.
After reaching God-tier, understanding of Laws became most important—pure energy enhancement and purification took a backseat.
The Great Dao of the world numbered three thousand; “three thousand” here was just a saying. In fact, any path could be made into a Law.
But the strongest, most basic Laws were few.
From chaos springs yin and yang; yin and yang give rise to the five elements; from the five elements, all things are born.
Aki’s basic bloodline embodied the Law of Chaos. Dual Cultivation was the Law of Yin and Yang.
Weapons and Body Arts were a bit weaker—but only relatively so. Across the countless Great Daos, these two still stood among the top, strong in battle Laws.
And the Status Page’s greatest ability was that Aki didn’t need to spend time understanding anything. Every use would steadily build up skill.
Once skill was maxed out, it would form into a Law Seed. By continuously absorbing other Laws of the same level and evolving, it would eventually become a top Law.
Though this was a talent ability of Aki’s soul, even he didn’t fully understand how it worked.
Much like how everyone knows that food gets turned into energy for the body—but aside from biology experts, most people don’t know how it works.
Once a Law was formed—i.e., once it became a passive skill—the methods for further improvement were simple enough.
One method was automatic evolution alongside Aki’s growing power.
The other was continued Dual Cultivation—copying the missing parts from talented female bodies to evolve and improve.
Of course, even after Laws were formed, some abilities still needed to be used actively.
For example, Nekomata transformation, Berserk, and the like.
But to Aki now, these abilities were as effortless as eating and drinking—he could use them anytime, without any restrictions or side effects.
Having finished studying the brand-new Status Page, Aki finally turned his attention to his internal Immortal Force and Divine Power.
Based on the panel’s display, his inherited memories, and the new understanding that had come up, he now clearly knew the different levels of the Immortal Path and the Divine Path.
The Immortal Path followed the structure of the ancient era—back when Great Luo Golden Immortals walked the earth like normal people.
Thus, the starting realm was Heavenly Immortal. There was no such thing as Human Immortal, Earth Immortal, or True Immortal—nor were there any “early,” “mid,” or “late” stages.
Above Heavenly Immortal was Profound Immortal, corresponding to Mid God-tier.
Above Profound Immortal was Golden Immortal, corresponding to Upper God-tier.
Above Golden Immortal was Grand Unity Golden Immortal, corresponding to Sub-Dragon God-tier.
Dragon God-tier naturally corresponded to Great Luo Golden Immortal.
Super-Dragon God-tier corresponded to Quasi-Saint, and Evil God-tier corresponded to Saint.
As for what lay beyond… the hidden things Aki had seen during his Breaching didn’t extend that far.
Perhaps it was because his current power was still not enough, or perhaps this world’s peak was simply Evil Gods—leaving him unable to perceive the Heavenly Dao-tier beyond the Saint-level, let alone the even deeper Grand Dao-tier or the highest being that went beyond the river of time itself.
What did “supreme” mean? In simple terms: to go beyond all things, eternal and indestructible.
Even if chaos crumbled, the Grand Dao faded, and the river of time withered—one would still remain undying and free.
It was a bit sad that he couldn’t see the view past the highest peak. Even so, Aki’s gains from this breakthrough would be enough to keep him busy for a while.
When he arrived at the threshold of his next qualitative transformation—Evil God-tier (Saint)—he could consider what lay beyond.
Aki slowly opened his eyes. His jet-black irises looked like an ancient chaos universe, with bright star rivers shining within, radiating a mysterious deep majesty.
Beside him, the silver-haired beauty who had watched Aki’s entire Breaching process felt her heart jump. The bottleneck that had kept her back for years seemed to loosen under that single glance.
”Aki… were you serious about what you said earlier?” Grayfia, here and throughout, adopts a tone of refined, elegant speech with moments of vulnerability; her lines carry the weight of a queen momentarily shedding her composure.
Before Aki could respond, Grayfia stepped forward and pressed close to him, looking at his now even more perfect face.
Aki blinked, then smiled. “Naturally. Now that I’ve breached God-tier, my Dual Cultivation ability has also grown considerably. Who knows? After we Dual Cultivate, maybe Grayfia will be able to ascend to God-tier in one go too.” Aki’s dialogue is confident and relaxed, reflecting his newfound assurance.
The silver-haired beauty’s lashes fluttered, her heart pounding even harder in her chest.
The two met each other’s gaze, and a warm feeling gradually spread through the quiet cultivation chamber.
At some point, the distance between them had gone completely. The soft, full curves of the silver-haired beauty’s chest pressed firmly against Aki’s, her breasts yielding against his heartbeat.
”Grayfia…”
”Mn…” Grayfia’s response is a soft, breathy acknowledgment, her usual composure dissolving.
Aki’s hot breath brushed across her neck. Grayfia, dressed in her blue-and-white maid uniform, lifted her chin and offered her red lips to him.
Aki took her full, soft lips, touching them slowly with his tongue before opening them. His tongue swept through her mouth, playing with the tender warmth within.
”Mmm… mn…” Grayfia’s muffled sounds convey her surrender to the moment.
Under Aki’s skilled touch, the silver-haired beauty—who had barely ever been kissed—quickly melted. She sank against him, her lips parted and her tongue let him explore, her soft moans escaping as she gave in.
After a moment of kissing, Aki felt her body begin to squirm restlessly against him. His hands started wandering. He gathered the hem of her maid skirt, rolling it up to her waist, revealing the exciting sight of black lace stockings and the garter belt that held them.
At the base of her soft, pale thighs, a thin black-lace panty with fine flower patterns hid nothing of the full shape of her Flower Valley.
The silver-haired beauty—mother of one, queen by title—showed a side that was unexpectedly girlish, a complete contrast to her usual noble manner. Looking at the beautiful woman in his arms, with her sharp contrast between public and private faces, Aki felt a surge of excitement. He wanted nothing more than to strip her bare and begin their Dual Cultivation for real.
As if sensing his intent, Grayfia’s voluptuous body trembled. “Aki…” she murmured. “The room… my room is just above the cultivation chamber.” Her voice carries a mix of shyness and reluctant acceptance.
”Good.” Aki’s reply is simple, confident, and decisive.
Aki lifted the silver-haired beauty into his arms and carried her through the cultivation chamber’s only exit into a fragrant, private bedroom—the chambers of a married woman.
Since becoming the Demon King, Sirzechs had rarely returned to the Gremory manor. The room belonged solely to Grayfia now. Only Venelana and occasionally Rias visited; no one would interrupt.
Though they had both made their decision and accepted the risk of discovery, secrecy still felt wise.
With a flicker of telekinesis, the curtains drew closed, and the door locked. Aki grabbed the plain blue-and-white maid uniform and tore it open.
