When Aki entered Juggernaut Drive, the slime humanoid fled desperately. Not just Loki’s consciousness. Instinct told it to stay away.
Home advantage or special existence meant nothing. Hit by Aki now, it couldn’t survive.
All this happened in about a minute. Past his promise. But he could still finish before Arthur gave out.
In Juggernaut Drive, he was fully Dragon God-level. The rift didn’t affect him. He quickly caught the fleeing remnant.
Seeing doom approach, the featureless slime shifted into Loki’s face.
”You again!” Loki’s face twisted. Then it smirked. “But thanks to you, I’ve finally mastered this power…”
”Oh? Really?” Aki didn’t stop. No time to chat. Arthur looked pale and weak.
”Thank me when you’re in hell.”
Boom!
With those words, his fist went through the slime.
Loki’s remaining words got stuck. Frustrated, he looked at his crumbling body.
Right before vanishing, he said, “Fine. Couldn’t finish. But my gift stayed.”
With the hole as center, the slime form vanished completely.
Aki raised an eyebrow. Waited. No sign of a “gift.”
”Forget it. Just his dying words.”
Time almost up. He turned.
The trickster god was dead. His earlier words were just talk. This time, soul and consciousness, completely erased.
But just as he entered the barrier, red light burst from where the slime vanished. Then—
A copy of Aki in Balance Breaker appeared. From aura, it had full Juggernaut Drive power. Same energy.
It didn’t attack Aki. Like a mindless beast, it attacked the dimensional barrier.
Powerful energy shook the colorful rift. The barrier cracked visibly.
”Tch.” Aki clicked his tongue. Headache.
He didn’t understand how Loki did it. Or what this copy was. But if not stopped, the mission failed. His peaceful life would end.
”You go first,” he said, one step from the barrier, turning back.
Even ignoring Ragnarok, this thing impersonating him had to die.
The three exchanged glances. Didn’t hesitate. Teleported back. Arthur was done. Staying wouldn’t help. Vali could use Juggernaut Drive. Might help. But wouldn’t.
Just as they left, Kuroka left the barrier.
Vali was shocked. “Kuroka?! What are you doing?”
”Sorry, Vali. I can’t let Aki be lost alone.”
”He needs you?” Seeing she wasn’t sabotaging, he relaxed. Annoyed. “With his strength, the rift won’t affect him. When Arthur recovers, we’ll come get him.”
”Right. Even if the barrier breaks, he won’t die,” Sun Wukong agreed.
Watching Aki block the copy, Sun Wukong admitted his strength was on another level. The copy that could crush them was just a minor annoyance to Aki. If not for the barrier, the copy would be dead.
Knowing they were right, emotions weren’t rational.
”Sorry nya…” Kuroka murmured.
”Women. So troublesome.” Watching her retreat, Vali gave up. “Arthur. Leave quickly. If he can’t stop it, prepare for war.”
The barrier vanished with them. Endless color was all that remained. Only Aki and Kuroka left.
”Aki. Watch his left hand!” Kuroka warned.
Her warning let him block another beam. Too weak to fight, her sensing helped him intercept and find weaknesses.
”Aki, this copy is strange. Can’t find its core. Feels unreal…”
”Unreal?” He understood. “Just need to stall. My recovery’s good.”
The copy had his Juggernaut Drive power, no skill. But he couldn’t dodge. Any clash or dodge would hit the barrier. Sometimes he had to block with his body.
Over ten minutes, the endless Mana copy vanished. Like it appeared. No warning.
”Phew… as expected. Like a projection. Only works here.”
With phoenix bloodline and life mastery, wounds healed fast. In fighting, he understood the principle. Seemed powerful. But limited.
Loki sacrificed his life, not even a soul left. Made this projection in the gap. In the Three Realms, even sacrificing himself, he couldn’t. Mainly, it only lasted ten-odd minutes.
Resting, his wounds healed. No scars.
”Aki. You okay?”
After the copy vanished, she came. She planned to heal him. But his recovery was absurd. Even seeing it, she asked again.
”Fine. The copy looked like me. But empty.” He shook his head. Smiled. “It only copied Sacred Gear power. Nothing of mine.”
Sacred Gear power depended on the host. Aki using Juggernaut Drive had Dragon God-level, no side effects. Others, like Vali, could only reach High God. Risked consumption.
If not for the barrier risk, he’d just wait it out.
They floated in the void. He’d released the form. Wounds healed. But stamina and Mana were real. They needed time.
The slime was fine. The copy cost half his energy.
”As expected. Only I can beat me,” he muttered.
”Eh? Meaning?” She tilted her head.
”Nothing. Just felt that way.”
Stroking her hair, he was glad she stayed. Without her, he’d try forcing his way out. Not fully damaging the barrier. But problems.
Waiting for Vali… No time concept in the gap. Without Colbrand, they’d think a day passed while outside a millennium. So he couldn’t rely on others.
”Rest first. Think of a way.” Holding her, he decided. “If I recover and no one comes, I’ll try forcing out.”
Energy was abundant but unsuitable. With his strength, full recovery would take a day or two.
She agreed. Like a girl in love, as long as she was with him. Thinking outside he couldn’t have her alone, she wanted to stay trapped.
They held each other. Feeling breath and presence.
Gradually, her breathing grew heavy. His hand climbed.
In the endless rift, only them. Willing. Naturally heading toward pink territory.
No bed. Didn’t need one.
Here, no direction. No ability needed. Floating. Unstable ground. But this environment allowed special play.
He let his thoughts go. Followed instinct. Looked at the cat beauty.
The black-haired, big-breasted beauty leaned on his chest. Flushed face. Happy. Her black kimono had phoenix wing decorations. Loose. Her hair tied in two streams.

When her smooth leg rubbed against him, he took her hands. Pinned them behind her back. He pressed her down.
The boundless rift didn’t need a bed. Even falling endlessly, it felt still.
His heat invaded her.
She changed from startled to soft. The more he loved her, the more she gave in.

His calm tone and warm breath made her melt. Resistance washed away by happiness.
