After half a day of treatment, his injuries were no longer an issue. Cao Cao then said: “Siegfried, go contact Ophis. I need to make another trip to the Underworld.”
The silver-haired youth, also a Dragon-slaying Hero descendant who inherited the name Siegfried, nodded in agreement.
During the treatment, Cao Cao had already explained what happened.
Though shocked that Aki was strong to such a degree, it didn’t extinguish their ambition.

Hades looked at Cao Cao visiting again, asking in a deep voice: “You want to borrow the Dragon Eater again?”
”Correct.”
Cao Cao admitted without a shred of embarrassment, frankly explaining the matter with Aki.
Finished speaking, not waiting for Hades to respond, he preemptively questioned: “Is what you gave me really the strongest dragon-slaying weapon? Then why did it have almost no effect on the Red Dragon Emperor?”

Cao Cao chuckled: “Relax, I’ve already sent someone to invite Ophis.”

Hades gave Cao Cao a deep look. If he didn’t have no choice but to act personally, he wouldn’t use this method.
As a god remaining in the Three Realms, Hades’s actions like this were already testing the limits. A few more times and he’d have trouble too.
Besides, if Hades personally used the Dragon Eater, Ophis would definitely be on guard—no chance at all to accomplish the goal of seizing power.
Ophis is Dragon God-level no matter what. If a single weapon could easily deal with her, that Dragon God-level would be too cheap.
In the original timeline, she was too confident—frankly, arrogant—plus betrayed by her own people, leading to the outcome of having her power stripped and forming a separate personality.
Having obtained usage rights to the Dragon Eater, Cao Cao rushed back to base without stopping.
At this time, the black-haired loli-form Ophis was already waiting.
”Called me here for what?”
Ophis looked uninterested. Though she was Khaos Brigade’s leader, she actually didn’t manage anything at all, not even clear on the factions within Khaos Brigade.
She often appeared with Vali, simply because Vali and her shared a common goal… defeating Great Red.
”Current Red Dragon Emperor asked me to pass a few words to you…”
Cao Cao showed not a shred of guilt about the impending ambush, calmly relaying Aki’s message.
The moment she heard it was Aki’s message, Ophis’s eyes instantly lit up.
The Hero Faction members exchanged glances—why did it feel like their own leader leaned more toward an outsider?
As expected, their decision wasn’t wrong.
The group once again found justification for their betrayal, feeling even more at ease.
”Many thanks.”
After listening, Ophis immediately wanted to go find Aki.
”Ophis-sama, wait.”
Seeing Ophis about to leave, Cao Cao stopped her, displeased.
”What is it?”
”It’s late night in the Human World right now. Ophis-sama going now would be a bit improper.”
Cao Cao smiled: “We happen to have a small matter needing Ophis-sama’s help. Why not stay a while longer?”
Ophis really wanted to refuse. Her expressionless cute face subconsciously furrowed.
But thinking they were technically her subordinates, and they brought Aki’s message, she nodded in agreement.
”Fine. What do you want me to help with?”
”Our strength has stagnated recently. Hope Ophis-sama can give us some guidance.”
”Fine, no problem.”
Ophis answered swiftly. Though she had no real combat experience, realm crushing could solve this small issue.
The Hero Faction members exchanged a glance, simultaneously revealing smiles.
Anyone else would’ve sensed something wrong by now.
But Ophis detected nothing. Or perhaps she noticed but didn’t take it to heart.
”Then excuse me…”
Cao Cao didn’t hesitate in the slightest. He raised the Holy Spear and launched a sneak attack, aiming straight for Ophis’s life. Speed so fast it was invisible!
The strongest Sacred Gear easily pierced Ophis’s abdomen. But when Cao Cao pulled the spear out, Ophis’s abdominal wound instantly healed.
And Ophis had zero reaction to this.
Cao Cao didn’t try to continue attacking, merely saying with emotion: “Ophis-sama can’t even be bothered to counterattack against the strongest Sacred Gear’s attack. Seems this level of offense is truly too trivial for you.”
A glimpse reveals the whole.
Also Dragon God-level, Ophis practically ignored Cao Cao. Aki was naturally the same.
That morning’s battle—if not for wanting to see what was special about the strongest Sacred Gear, Aki could’ve settled Cao Cao in one hit.
Ophis was just about to speak when a Hero Faction member, Georg, began chanting an incantation.

First, they used an excuse to keep Ophis, lowering her guard against attacks. Then while Cao Cao drew attention, another immediately summoned the Dragon Eater to attack.
A giant cross with dragon and Fallen Angel-like creatures manifested once more, then instantly fired a black beam at Ophis.
”Dragon Eater?!”
Ophis was startled. She naturally knew this strongest dragon-slaying weapon.
But it was already too late. Black threads wrapped around her, continuously making sucking sounds.
To stop these black threads, only destroying the Dragon Eater’s main body would work.
But controlled Ophis couldn’t do it.
Hit by Dragon Eater’s attack, even Heavenly Dragons would undoubtedly die.
Ophis won’t die. Even the strongest dragon-slaying weapon can’t kill the Ouroboros Snake with the infinite concept.
But as power continuously drained, Ophis inevitably weakened.
The black-haired cute loli’s face turned pale, but her expression held not a shred of panic.
She coolly watched Cao Cao and company, silently waiting for the last thread of power to be sucked dry.
Even if all power was absorbed, the Dragon Eater couldn’t digest it.
Just that current her would disappear, then be reborn anew within that absorbed power.
Cao Cao and them naturally understood this principle too. Even if not for fulfilling the promise with Hades, he wouldn’t take all of Ophis’s power.

So, when the power inside her body remained at one-quarter, Ophis felt the power loss sensation stop.
Having lost 75% of her power, even Dragon God-level Ophis couldn’t adapt immediately.
Thus, under attacks from Cao Cao’s group, she began taking injuries. When Siegfried joined, her wounds rapidly worsened.
Even so, the Hero Faction people couldn’t kill Ophis.
