Aki held her and rested a while, thinking of what excuse to use to pull Yasaka in too.
Not that he wanted mother-daughter dual blooming—just wanted all three to spend this long night together in cultivation.
But just then, a strong spatial fluctuation came from the surroundings. Aki instinctively wrapped the nude fox-eared schoolgirl in the blanket.

Seeing the visitor, Aki breathed a sigh of relief.
Right on cue, Yasaka—having detected the commotion—arrived. He handed Kunou to her.
”Yasaka, you take Kunou and rest first.”
Yasaka looked at Ophis with shock and suspicion, asking: “Aki-sama, this person is…”
Having lost most of her power and heavily injured, Ophis’s aura was extremely unstable right now.
Even in her current state, she made Yasaka feel incomparable heart-pounding fear.
But because of this, Yasaka couldn’t confirm her identity.
”Ophis. The so-called Ouroboros Dragon God. Don’t worry, she and I are on good terms. You take Kunou and rest first.”
Though harboring doubts, Aki had emphasized it twice now. Yasaka obediently withdrew, leaving the space to Aki and Ophis.
Aki had long noticed something was wrong with Ophis. The moment Yasaka and Kunou left, he immediately stepped forward and embraced the petite, adorable black-haired loli.
Under the powerful regeneration, Ophis’s wounds had healed, but residual bloodstains and grime remained.
Gazing at the patches of blood on Ophis, the pleasant mood from conquering the nine-tailed fox mother-daughter turned heavy and angry.
”Was it Cao Cao?”
Aki already had the answer in his heart. Though a question, his tone was utterly certain.
”He borrowed the Dragon Eater from Hades again?”
Lying in Aki’s arms, smelling the strange scent on Aki, Ophis subconsciously frowned.
Not dislike—just simple unfamiliarity.
If it was just Aki’s scent she’d like it. But mixed in were the bewitching scents belonging to Kunou and Yasaka.
Seeing Ophis’s reaction, Aki realized he was still naked, the scents and traces on his body uncleaned.
”Sorry, you sit here a moment. I’ll go wash up.”
Though Ophis’s injuries were severe, she’d stabilized. Current weakness was mostly from having over half her power stolen.
”No need.”
Ophis lightly shook her head, actively pressing close to Aki. Her slender arms lightly encircled his neck.
The black-haired petite girl’s usual outfit was already very revealing—chest completely exposed save for cross-shaped OK band-aids, skirt very short, a pair of white, delicate calves fully exposed.
Now heavily injured by Cao Cao and company, though not fully exposed, her clothing truly had little fabric left.
Only because Ophis is the Ouroboros Dragon God, her strength truly sufficient—otherwise even if not dead, her clothes would’ve long since burst clean off.
Of course, no exposure was also because Ophis desperately defended those key areas.
But the places she’d always desperately defended, before Aki, she actively opened up.
Feeling Ophis’s intimacy, watching tattered cloth scraps flutter off the black-haired kuudere’s body, Aki unhelpfully swallowed hard.
Seeing Ophis just hugging him with no further intention, Aki forcefully restrained his desire, equally gently embracing her.

”That’s different.”
Aki tightened his hold on Ophis. “I clearly knew the Hero Faction wanted to harm you…”
After becoming Dragon God-level, Aki’s confidence grew. Plus Ophis’s displayed intimacy and trust—he took this chance to reveal his Awakening of past-life wisdom, knowing the future.
As the Ouroboros Dragon, the World Snake, Ophis inherently had fate-like abilities. She accepted Aki’s situation quickly.
”I see. That’s why I felt so close to you on first meeting, and felt you were special.”
Ophis’s voice remained clear and cold, but listening carefully revealed contained joy and excitement.
Closeness naturally came from Aki’s bloodline constantly approaching the world’s root. Special because Aki is this world’s greatest variable—able to change everyone’s predetermined fate.
Infinite looping is both a blessing and a prison.
Ophis wants to go further—must break the infinite loop’s fate, take a brand new step.
Then using that as foundation, achieve infinite looping again, then break again, loop again…
Only this spiral, stair-step infinite looping can let her continuously sublimate.
But achieving this goal, she alone cannot do it.
And Aki is the key to her shifting from planar looping to spiral looping.
So the root of her soul’s will subconsciously made her incomparably close to and fond of Aki.
Seeing Aki’s remorseful face, Ophis chuckled lightly, comforting: “It’s fine. Hearing you finish, I feel this might not be a bad thing.”
”If what you say is true, my power avatar replaces my current image, while I mature… that might mean my power advanced.”
In the original timeline, Ophis was targeted by the Hero Faction for possessing infinite power. When betrayed by her own Khaos Brigade Hero Faction leader Cao Cao using the Dragon Eater borrowed from Hades to absorb her power, she converted part of her power into snakes and placed them into spatial cracks.
After absorbing three-quarters of her power, she recovered some snakes. But power still two levels above the Two Heavenly Dragons at peak. However, losing most power forced her to abandon her original goal.
Later, to substitute for Hyoudou Issei bearing the Dragon God transformation backlash, her form became a busty older sister, and locked her image.
The original moe-dragon image was replaced by the avatar Lilith born from absorbed power.
At that time, the Ophis who should’ve had only one-quarter power had already surpassed the avatar Lilith.
In other words, as Ouroboros Dragon God, Ophis’s total stamina nearly doubled from before.
Sorting through cause and effect, Aki felt slightly less guilty.
But the World line had already changed enormously. How current Ophis becomes the busty, black-haired older sister, how she recovers peak strength, and masters the power avatar—Aki didn’t know.
Not just Aki—Ophis herself didn’t know either.
Though unsure how, Ophis knows she can now first completely fix her gender and image.
Don’t be fooled by her constant black-haired schoolgirl appearance—she hasn’t actually fully fixed her gender and image.

• Aki – A tall, handsome Kuoh Academy student and Red Dragon Emperor, he is a reincarnated cultivator who currently inhabits a pitch-black cat form with piercing azure eyes. As the host of a powerful supernatural relic, the Boosted Gear, he is the Red Dragon Emperor’s successor. He is currently captive for an extraction ritual and a source of information on Holy Sword experiments.
