Volume 11 Chapter 1 Another Day Begins in McGaref

Edited by: Kanaa-senpai

We were on a school trip, crammed into a bus, when—poof—we got teleported to this world. Stranded on the outskirts of McGaref, we were utterly lost until a guard spotted us. Following Kanare-san’s orders, we were thrown into combat training and sent to the Labyrinth to harvest magic stones, kicking off a life of grit and survival.

Back then, I was grateful but also kind of annoyed. The training was brutal, the food was scarce, and the whole setup felt like a raw deal. But now? Now I realize how insanely lucky we were. Compared to the days of the First Emperor, when we were lied to, sold out, violated, and killed without so much as a scrap of reliable information, starting this journey with everyone intact was a damn miracle.

”Takkun,” Aria said, her voice soft and hesitant, “this place… it’s the past, right?”

”Yeah,” I replied, rubbing my temple as I tried to make sense of it all. “From what I can tell, we don’t have much choice but to assume so.”

I was doing my best to piece things together. Talking with Yawashi-kun had confirmed it: we were in the past. But it wasn’t exactly the same past. The biggest clue? Aria calling me “Takkun.” That was her nickname for me when she was in full-on dere mode, all sweet and clingy. Back in this time, Aria was pure tsun—sharp-tongued and prickly. In public, she’d call me “Takumi-kun” with a sneer; in private, I was just “Pig.”

”You remember fighting Livia, don’t you?” I asked, glancing at her.

”Yeah,” she said, her eyes distant but clear. “I remember.”

So, we had our memories from the future. That much was certain. But why we’d been thrown back here? No clue. We’d cornered Livia, and Chinatsu-chan had pushed her to the brink of death. Then Livia unleashed Turning Heavens, and—well, here we were. That’s my best guess, anyway.

”But… I’m so glad,” Aria murmured, her voice cracking. “You died, Takkun…”

”That was the First Emperor me, not—”

”I was supposed to be your shield,” she cut in, her eyes glistening. “I was supposed to die for you. But you protected me. It was reckless, but… so cool.”

Guh! Damn that First Emperor version of me, stealing all the spotlight!

Aria wasn’t wearing her battle-erotic maid outfit from before, either. She was back in her usual maid dress, the one she wore when she was running the base with her Maid Skill, keeping everything in order. It hit me with a pang of nostalgia, like flipping through an old photo album.

”It’s so quiet,” I said, looking around the empty base.

”Yeah,” Aria nodded. “If it’s like before… everyone’s probably out in the Labyrinth.”

Exactly. The base was run by just three of us: Yawashi-kun handling the cooking, Aria with her Maid Skill, and me doing odd jobs like fetching supplies. Everyone else was out in the Labyrinth from dawn to dusk, risking their lives for magic stones. Once Yawashi-kun left, it was just us.

”Takkun,” Aria said, her voice soft and almost pleading. “Can you… just kiss me? Please?”

”Sure,” I said, my heart skipping a beat.

”I’m so happy…” she whispered, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears.

She threw her arms around me, and the sheer force of her M-cup breasts pressing against me was almost violent in its softness—gunyu—a sensation I’d never quite get used to. This was just skinship, I told myself, a way to calm her down after everything we’d been through.

”Mm… chu, chu, juru, juru, juru…♡,” she murmured between kisses, her lips warm and eager. “I love you… juru, mm, juru…♡ chu, chu, juru… more, juru, more…♡ mm, amu… so good…♡ juru, juru, juru, jurururu…♡.”

Okay, it was a long kiss, but still just skinship, right? I brushed away the tears pooling at the corners of her eyes, letting our lips meet again and again, each kiss a quiet confirmation that we were alive, here, together. She’d watched me—well, the First Emperor me—die right in front of her, after all.

It must’ve been ten minutes before Aria finally pulled back, her breath unsteady but her expression softer. “Takkun,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper. “I want to give you my virginity right now, but… it wouldn’t be fair to Hikari and the others. Sorry.”

”Don’t worry about it,” I said, my head still spinning from the kiss. “Wait… virginity?”

”Yup,” she said, nodding like it was the most obvious thing in the world. “I’m a virgin again, it seems. Wanna see my hymen? Just looking doesn’t count as cutting in line.”

Before I could process that, Aria’s fingers were already at the buttons of her maid dress, and with a casual flick, her M-cup breasts spilled out—boron—in all their overwhelming glory. I’d seen them before, sure, but back in this time? It was like staring at a natural disaster, beautiful and terrifying.

”It’s kinda embarrassing,” Aria said, her shy smile absolutely unfair, “having Takkun look at my virginity like this…”

My first love stood there, completely bare, climbing onto the rickety bed and slowly spreading her legs. Her untouched folds came into view, dry but unmistakably pristine. As she gently parted herself with her fingers, she looked at me, her eyes soft and unguarded. That smile—the one I’d been aching to see—she was giving it to me without holding back.

”I want you to see it,” she said, her voice low and earnest. “My pussy.”

Her fingers moved carefully, revealing the tight, untouched entrance, the delicate flesh confirming her words. The thought of breaking through that again with myself sent a rush of heat through me, though… huh, my erection felt a little weaker than usual. Weird.

”It’s beautiful, Aria,” I said, my voice catching.

”Thanks,” she said, her smile widening. “But wait, okay, Takkun? We need to decide the order for giving you our virginities together, so it’s fair.”

”Thanks… but what about the others?” I asked, my mind shifting.

Yawashi-kun clearly didn’t have any future memories. Did the others? We’d have to ask to find out.

”Oh!” Aria said, glancing at the shadows stretching across the room. “Based on the light, the Labyrinth team should be back soon.”

”Right,” I said, snapping back to reality. “You’ve got laundry to take care of, don’t you?”

”Yup,” she said, slipping back into her maid dress with a practiced ease. “Takkun, go meet them like you used to, okay?”

”Got it,” I said, giving her a nod.

I stepped out of the base, my boots crunching against the streets of McGaref Town. Everything felt so damn nostalgic—the little shops, the familiar bustle. It really was the past.

”Wonder if Ranka-san and the others are back too?” I muttered to myself.

Livia, the First Emperor, the war—so many questions swirled in my head. But first, I needed to check on my classmates. Wait… that person I just passed in the crowd. Did I know them? There was something familiar, but they vanished into the throng before I could place it. No hostility, no killing intent, so… probably fine, right?

I reached the gate, and that’s when I saw them. I froze, my breath catching in my throat.

There they were—people who shouldn’t be here. No, people who used to be here, back in this time.

”Takumi-kun,” Honoka-chan said, her voice tired but warm. “No luck today, either. All we’ve got is some herbs Honoka-chan found. Barely enough to eat.”

”Yeah,” Saki-chan added, her tone heavy. “Maybe we should just become Courtesans before we drag everyone else down with us.”

Takada Honoka-chan and Endo Saki-chan—members of the 5th Division before the team reshuffle. And walking with them were two more: Nagai Kahoru-chan and Sakasaki Lumine-chan. My mind raced, pulling at memories.

”Haruka and the others are still out in the Labyrinth,” Kahoru-chan said, her voice sharp but not unkind. “They say we’re dead weight, so we came back early. Don’t want a repeat of last time… oh, sorry, Lumine-chan…”

”That’s just how life is,” Lumine-chan murmured, her voice soft and hollow. “The character for ‘dream’ is written with ‘human’ and ‘fleeting’… If I disappeared, I wonder what my sister would think…”

There it was. I remembered this conversation. If my memory was right, tomorrow night, Sakasaki-san would take her own life. Her death would shatter Kahoru-chan, driving her to flee the base and become a Courtesan. Haruka-chan, their other best friend, would spiral under the weight of guilt, throwing everything off balance.

And so, my new rise in McGaref began, with the weight of what was coming pressing down on me.
