I, Takumi, had begun making love to Neige-san. To avoid triggering her past trauma, I’d been gentle, but her reactions suggested I could intensify things a bit. Moving deeply, her soft sounds grew louder.
”Ah, nnh… haa♡ This is… so intense…♡”
”Because your voice is so charming, Neige-san,” I said, my movements steady.
”S-such a thing… at my age… to be called charming…♡” she gasped, her body gently arching.
Her words protested, but her body spoke volumes. She held me close, her embrace tightening as if asking for more.
While moving, I reached for her shoulders, gently caressing her. Her voice rose higher, her silver hair flowing as she softly moved, emotions streaming down her face. Her beauty in that moment was captivating.
”You’re stunning, Neige-san. It’s a shame for someone so beautiful to be alone…”
”Y-you… I’m no innocent woman…♡”
”I appreciate genuine women. Be mine, Neige-san.”
She chuckled softly, her eyes sparkling.
”Takumi-dono, I already opened up to you, ready to be yours. You’re surprisingly unaware of a woman’s heart.”
”Ah, my apologies…”
”No need. Being asked to be yours makes me incredibly happy.”
”Thank you. Let’s try something different then.”
I adjusted her position, deepening my movements. Her voice softened as the new angle overwhelmed her.
”Ah, so gentle…♡ Takumi-dono, I’m… I’m close…♡”
”I’ll be with you, Neige-san. Again and again, until you’re completely at ease.”
”Yes…♡ Stay with me…♡ Ahh… I’m…♡”
Splish… splash…♡ Her body gently relaxed as we connected, warmth spreading between us. As we separated, it flowed softly, glistening in the dim light. Her beauty was captivating, and I felt a renewed sense of closeness.
”Already so at ease again?” she teased.
”You’re too wonderful, Neige-san. Tonight, I’ll cherish you completely.”
”Then… could you say it again? ‘Be mine’… in your words.”
Her request was heartwarming. I brushed her silver hair, whispering into her ear.
”Will you be mine, Princess Neige?”
”Yes… gladly…♡”
Throughout the night, we explored different ways to connect, her soft sounds filling the inn.

By morning, Neige’s comfort was evident, a state Chinatsu-chan called a “special bond.” Reflecting on the night, I asked a question that had been bothering me.
”Why didn’t you let the men harm Scaya-san when she was a captive?”
”They held back out of respect for me. The Ironblood Mercenaries don’t harm captives. It cost us a fortune in support instead.”
Her words explained her approach toward Ginga-kun’s incident. The pieces clicked into place.
”Takumi-dono, I propose forming a group with Dalcur as leader, using the Ironblood Mercenaries as its core.”
”A group?”
”Yes. The current structure delays decision-making. With Weed-dono as leader of another group, you’d have two independent teams.”
I recalled my studies: this world had both organized groups and special teams, the latter operating as autonomous units. With Dalcur and Weed, both experienced leaders, I had ideal candidates.
”But they must follow my guidance.”
”Understood. We’ll support you fully. I suggest keeping Dalcur separate, perhaps with Clarice’s skilled unit. She still needs guidance.”
Thus, my group, Takumi-kun and the Merry Companions, evolved into a formal organization. This decision would prove crucial in the challenging McGaref War.

”Well, Takumi-kun, quite the night you had,” Kahoru-chan teased.
”Yeah… it was wonderful… I ended up… ah♡… connecting so many times…”
”Ah, that joyful voice was Shiori’s? I thought it was Neige’s, but it was so light.”
”Yeah, Shiori-oneechan’s voice is unique.”
”It was lovely. Good thing we had the inn to ourselves.”
Neige’s beauty had deepened, a warm glow replacing her usual composure.
”She’s fond of Takumi-kun, hasn’t she? A special bond now, huh? How many times, ten?”
”I stopped counting at twenty…”
”Wow… that’s… heartwarming. Takumi-kun, you’re caring.”
”If you can do that, I wish I’d joined in!”
”Me too…♡”
”Wait, keep that quiet. Aria’s dedicated, and that’d be exciting.”
”True. Takumi-kun, Aria’s been working hard. Show her the same care, okay?”
”Special bond” as a reward felt meaningful, but Chinatsu-chan’s term had stuck. As we traveled, Shiori-chan’s support kept us going, each person requesting their turn.
”Ah… that was… wonderful…♡”
”Being close during the break… perfect…♡”
”Being together and sharing… that was special…♡”
”You were so kind… I loved it…♡”
”A fitting connection for a friend… thank you…♡”
Their happy voices filled the air as we continued our journey, the new group now a reality.
”Hmm,” I mused aloud, “what exactly did we set out to do again? It’s become a journey focused almost entirely on… well, that.” Despite the distraction, we finally reached the quiet streets leading to the southern edge of the McGaref Region, where the Gobelspire Mountain Range loomed ahead.
And then, Shiori’s bold behavior left us all—even Haruka and Dora, who should have been the leaders—surprised into silence.
